Then about 3 years ago I wanted to have extra gutters put in and called these guys to give me an estimate. Do not use, scam company. I have a leak in the flashing due to last week's straight line windstorm and gutters that need to be cleaned out. Oleg comes out with a step-stool and only interested in talking about hail damage (which there was none). Never gets on roof to inspect flashing or inspect gutters. Really bad experience. I would stay away. Roofing giant put on new roof on part of the home and had to have new roof replaced after 3 months because it was installed incorrectly and the roof was coming up very easily according to another roofing company that has much better reviews and many more reviews. I tried to get roofing giant to fix incorrectly installed roof under their "warranty" and they never called me back. Avoid. read more

Roofing Giant was a pleasure to work with from the beginning. Oleg helped me deal with the insurance company, and patiently waited and assisted with the appraisal process when the insurance company refused to pay the full claim. Overall the insurance and appraisal process took two years. By the end of it the roof had started to leak. Roofing Giant came out and tarped the roof to prevent further damage, and replaced some of the ceiling drywall without any extra charge. I now have a beautiful new roof and feel much safer in my home. read more

No call no show. No thanks. I requested an estimate/inspection for my company's roof. We had had it scheduled on 11/1 @ 1PM. I was out of the office sick, but had my calls forwarded to my personal phone. I returned to work today to find out that the inspection had not been done, but no one even showed up! While the receptionist was nice and wanted to pass the message along that I will no longer be requiring their services, she would have the owners contact me to see what happened. No hate, just my experience. Called them and painted a picture of what was going on with my ceiling. When they asked how many stories my place was, I told them two and that the last time we had someone out, they needed a taller than usual ladder. They showed up day of about an hour early with a ladder that was too short. Guy said he was going to get another ladder and that he'd be back in a few days. We've not seen or heard from them since. I called them back a few days later completely by accident as I was looking for other roofers. I explained my case to the lady on the phone and she said, "I'm just the answering service, what do you want me to do about it?" I told her, "Nothing.", let her off the phone and am still looking for someone to fix a leaky hole in my ceiling. Edit: The owner of the company; Ohlig, gave me a call shortly after posting this review. He offered to make things right if I would let him. We already have someone else coming out but I appreciate his calling to see if he could resolve the issue. read more

The guy was not at my home more than 1 minute and had not even been on my roof yet before the words "Insurance Claim" flew out of his mouth. He then proceeded to go on my roof and take pictures of a completely normal, damage free roof. There was "Tons of damage, everywhere" he said. When he came back down, he tried to tell me that I had so much damage from wind and hail and that my roof was sure to have all these issues and quickly! I saw these photos, which showed nothing and he said "well, it's probably just the angle of the pictures. It's there, there is so much damage." The only thing I did see was the nickel sized dent in the chimney pipe that is not visible from anywhere but 2 feet away and is in no way stopping it from functioning properly. I think the entire time he was here, he used the words "insurance claim" over 15 times... I kept saying "I just need a small repair to this one section. It's 4 shingles. I'm not going to pay my deductible over that. I really just need a small repair. It doesn't even leak, it's cosmetic at this stage." I had to absolutely twist his arm to even get him to send me a quote for the repair that I wanted (which he clearly did not want to do). When he finally sent it to me, I laughed and laughed and laughed. These guys want nearly 2 k to remove 4 shingles (4 attached together in the same row) and replace. it's a 4ft x 12inch area. I don't have any sub damage, no leaks, no structural damage, it's just one tiny area of loose shingles that need to be replaced/renailed. It wouldn't be more than 2 hours worth of work and it definitely is not anywhere in the area of 2k worth of labor or materials. When he finally was leaving, he still insisted on giving me a claims form for my insurance, and imagine-- it was so conveniently on his passenger seat in the car, sitting there all pulled out and ready to go! BONUS!!! His other favorite phrases were "Show this to your Husband", "Ask your Husband", "See what your Husband thinks", "Just give this to your Husband". It was incredibly patronizing, like I don't know how to handle the situation without my dear old Husband to come in and rescue me from all of the thinking and scary man-talk. What is this, 1948? ------------- This was not the first or last quote I got for this same job and everyone else wants less than 500.00 to do the same job!!! None of those other companies every brought up my insurance. They all inspected my roof and each and everyone of them said that my roof is just fine and probably has at least another 5, maybe even 10 years in it if we don't have any huge storms. I did ask one or two companies "Did you see any more damage, does this warrant thinking about going through insurance? Do you think we need a new roof?" Their answers were "No", "no" and "Absolutely not!". read more

Kyle Reid was AWESOME. He worked with me throughout the entire process of replacing my roof (damaged via hail storm), explaining every single detail to me. He kept in touch. The job went just greatI I could not have asked for a better experience. I incurred hail damage back in early 2016 and enlisted several Angieslist-service companies to bid the repair job. Due to a number of factors the work got put off until recently. Roofing Giant is one of the several companies I targeted back in 2016 to give me an estimate. Some of the contractors lost interest in my work since time passed but not Roofing Giant. Oleg stayed in touch with me and continued to address any concerns I had. Admittedly, I require a lot of any company doing work for me since I am detailed oriented and want things done a specific way. Oleg addressed all my questions and even accommodated a 4-sheet addendum I added to the agreement that we signed. As it worked out, I only had one other company to compare costs to. A third company graciously bowed out of the bidding since it could not get to the work for several months. Anyway, Roofing Giant's bid was significantly lower than the other company's bid. Given this and Oleg being so great to work with, I chose Roofing Giant to do the work. The actual work went great too. The crew supervisor, Chuey, was just wonderful to work with. He spoke excellent English and was most willing to do whatever I asked him to do. As already stated I am pretty exacting and I wanted things done a specific way and Chuey came though admirably without throwing me off the roof. Yes, I even went on the roof to inspect various things being done and Chuey did not mind at all. This is a strong indicator of a company doing great work and not ashamed of anything they do. if you choose Roofing Giant to do your work, ask if Chuey's crew could do the work. You will not be disappointed. The guys cleaned up really well after the work and seemed to work really well as a team. I was proud to know all of them and was so impressed that I gave them all a small monetary gift along with a Gideon New Testament. Don't ever use this company. We paid a premium for an inspection report and were told we'd receive it that day. When we asked the inspector for it he sent rude text and said he won't write the report until Monday. The only reason we paid for something that is usually free is we needed it on Saturday. I scheduled an appointment with this company for yesterday 6 PM yesterday for an estimate.. It was a time they provided. I had to line up my HOA representatives and the tenant so that the inspection would complete in the presence of the HOA who was going to fund the project. No one showed up from Roofing Gaint for over an hr. I called in their call center and they said they would check with whoever was going to come and they would call back immediately. I waited for 20 mins after the first call. When no one called me back I ringed call in center again and new guy who answered said the same thing. I waiter for another 25 mins for a call and no one responded again. I had to show my sorry face to the HOA and my tenant and call it off. No explanation was given for the missed appointment.I just went by the google reviews. I have concerns about how reliable this company is. For a reason I had to convince my HOA that this company had good reviews. Now they think otherwise. read more

Just wanted to express how satisfied I am with The Roofing Giant. It was my first major claim and after seeing horror stories on the news and hearing from them from friends/neighbors, I was dreading the process. Fortunately, the guys from Roofing Giant were excellent to work with, helped me through the entire process, did an amazing job on the roof, and left my yard/landscaping/pool clean and looking untouched. They were also able to work with my insurance company to point out several items that the adjuster missed. The insurance company promptly issued a check for the difference. Their price was on the lower end of the 4 estimates I received, yet the quality of the materials and workmanship was as-good or better than the other guys (50 year shingles vs 30 year from the other "cheaper" companies). They came in exactly at the price they quoted and scheduled the repair the week I needed it to be done (I work from home and wanted to be away for the actual re-roofing part). I recommend this company to anyone needing roofing work done. They are great! read more

It's tough for me to write this because Oleg is a super nice guy and he's an honest man. I even met his wife who also is very sweet. The sales process was great. He came to my house, sat down with me for an hour and explained everything. The pricing was very fair and he deals directly with the insurance company on your behalf to get the depreciation back. Unfortunately, the actual work itself was handled poorly. The contractors did not take any precautions to protect the landscaping. They were very careless and, literally, I had large pieces of roofing materials land on top of many plants in the beds and destroy or injure many of them. There was roofing debris everywhere, including all over the lawn furniture. As I explained to Oleg, had they taken precautions and some debris damaged a few plants here and there, no big deal, it happens. The roof is steep and materials slide off. However, in this case, there was no care taken to protect the plants or the furniture. I was surprised as Oleg had explained to me that this crew had been with him for a long time, so I figured they knew how to take precautions and be careful. I asked him why in this case they seemed so careless and he did own up to it and acknowledge that he should have had better supervision over the work. There was over $1K in damage to the landscaping and he did step up and pay for it, which I thought was very honest. At the end of the day, he did the right thing by the customer, although it should not have come to this. Even after this, they came back to do the gutters and I found debris and garbage on the roof. I had to climb out a 2nd story window to clean it up. Just sloppy work for them not to clean up after themselves. I'm giving a 2 star instead of 1 star because of the way Oleg handled the situation and because the actual shingle replacement was done well. If Oleg can provide closer supervision and/or train his crew to be more careful and clean up, I'm sure future customers will be giving higher ratings. read more
