Had a great experience with Tim Draper at Draper floors. I'm rehabbing my mom's house in order to sell it. It was a mess after foundation repairs and had torn up old flooring and old tile that I was struggling to deal with. Tim helped me with samples to take home and see what worked best and then came out 2 days later to measure. Great guy, very helpful and they have their own install crew. Unlike big box flooring companies, where they outsource to multiple installers and good luck if you have problems. Install carries a 1 year warranty and flooring has its own product warranties. And if there are any issues, I go to Tim, not the installer. Whole process was simple and straightforward! Floors needed a lot of work (grinding and floating) but they look wonderful with the new LVP and carpet. First thing I would like to say this is the 3rd time we have used Draper Floors. Draper Floors completed the replacement of the carpet in our living room just before Thanksgiving,2023. When we went to the Carrollton showroom to look at samples Tim Draper was very helpful, as usual, sent us home with samples so we could make our decision. The next day Tim was at our house at the agreed upon time to do the measurements and give us an estimate. He knew which color carpet would be best and it was the same one we had picked. The next day we got a call from Josue Romero, who basically handles everything after Tim does the estimate, he is always so polite and knowledgeable. He gave us good news, the carpet we picked out was in stock and could be installed the next week, music to our ears! The installers, Miguel and his assistant were here on time and immediately went to work. Our living room looks great. Both Tim and Josue are extremely helpful with the selection of products and Josue handled scheduling the install, then he called us afterwords to see if we were happy with the job. The first time we used them we had engineered hardwood floors put down in part of our house. It is a wonderful product and looks amazing. We highly recommend Draper Floors! Update: Yes, Tim from Draper Floors did offer to correct the wrong grout color but they could never correct to the level that would have been the result if they had used the correct color grout. They could have chipped out the wrong color grout and possibly damaged the tile in the process or they could use a grout coloring agent which would not be a permanent fix and would need to be repeated in several years. Either way bottom line is they didn't do the job right and don't stand behind their work. read more

We went to their store on Frankford Rd to look at samples and met Josue Romero, who was so kind and very helpful. He even suggested we take a few samples home with us to see how a particular carpet would look with our wall color and lighting. We finally decided on a particular brand and color and Tim Draper, the owner of the company, came out to measure our rooms so he could order the carpet we had chosen. Just had my flooring replaced by Draper Floors this week. I delayed a bit (months) since I wanted to paint all my walls first mostly by myself. There wasn't any pressure from them to commit sooner, which I appreciated. I communicated with Tim and Josué in the office, and José and his team for the flooring. Everyone did an amazing job, and I'm very happy with the final outcome. Great and friendly communication from all. I actually had to push my flooring out a week due to my painter for the stuff I can't reach being pushed out a week, and they made it happen. The flooring guys got it all done in 3 days (4 days was the estimate)... new flooring and baseboards in my living room, coat closet, 2 bdrms w closets, and stairs, as well as baseboards (no flooring) in my 2 bathrooms. The stairs were so bad before and now they're beautiful! They even found a great solution to the bottom stair extending out by covering the edge with a sized-to-fit baseboard. One of my bdrms had a strange obvious hump in the floor and they were able to sand that down and fill in other parts to make it level. They went above and behind....such as offering to help me take up some boxes once they were done w the upstairs, so the downstairs would be clear for the next day of work down there. I was expecting to do it myself, so they saved me a ton of time by staying an extra 5 minutes to do so, which is greatly appreciated. They also put my coat closet door back on at the end - I was completely expecting to do that myself afterwards, so another nice lil extra surprise. I shopped around and took bids for about 6 months, just learning about types of floors and what is trending. The best price, knowledge, and suggestions came from my conversations with Tim at Draper Floors. He was super friendly, and respectful. Josue was there on subsequent visits and equally friendly. Tim came out and measured my house and gave me several options to fit into my budget. Tim communicated with me about suggestions for colors, and patterns that he knew would look great in my home. I delayed my install awaiting a remodel on my bathrooms first. Tub and shower enclosures, and surrounds, Tim made me an offer to do a package deal and help me through the process with discounts in the package deal. The cost was much lower than other bids from other stores. The install team are super nice guys, and very helpful! They are fast and efficient, and the quality of their work is excellent! Juan checked in with me daily to make sure everything was spot on. If I saw something I didn't like they quickly corrected the issue. Customer comes first!
