I wanted to know what the scents were like so I spent some time checking them out. This was my first time in their store. Everyone was some what friendly. Some were great and others were really not engaged and standoffish. The store is definitely expensive. I saw a few things I wanted and will be coming back for later. I was able to find a great Maison Berger (this was the last one and was the display) and since it was my first time I got 10% off. The lady in the gifts/candle section was able to help me with my purchase and decent experience. Might go back to check out new scents and purchase a couple for family.

You can get cleaning products, keys made, children's clothing, books, toys, accessories, fine chocolates, order invitations/stationary, buy plasticware; plates, silverware, napkins, cookware, glasses, etc etc etc On this occasion I stopped in for a few specific items that I needed for the dinner party I was hosting. I sincerely wished that I had gotten the name of the wonderful man, who was working at Bering's and who immediately began helping me find what I needed to buy. He literally walked me around, asking others who also worked there, where to find these items. Of course we ended up in the right section with a multitude of selections which I truly appreciated. I found what I needed and I was a very happy customer! This person's excellent professional service was extremely appreciated. Next time I'm at Bering's I will try to find him, so I can edit this review and add his name so he gets recognized for his over-the-top service!!!

He placed the order online and then called to confirm the time that I would be at work on Friday for the delivery. My flowers were delivered at 12pm on Saturday - a day after my birthday and on a day that I am not at work. After calling 5 times across multiple days and having all the employees give me the runaround about a manager or owner calling me back, I finally received a phone call from the owner who is a complete jerk and chauvinistic pig. Instead of apologizing and backing his guarantee via his website, his exact words were, "just be happy you got flowers" and "Baby, you're just one of my million customers". If you actually want flowers delivered on the day you ordered...spend your hard earned money elsewhere. The owner does not take responsibility for mistakes and does not care about customer satisfaction. There are WAY too many florists out there who will guarantee a quality product with great customer service. Please support me in not supporting such a lousy business. I've already filed a complaint via the Better Business Bureau and hope to spread the word further.

I'll start by saying Liz E.'s review was spot on. It was my first visit since they had made me…read moreangry several years ago. What was more infuriating is I wasn't shopping for myself, but my HOA. They have a bigger budget for this kind of thing than I do. I needed about 30 plants, half of them shrubs. Laughingly, I took one of the handy carts and located most of the shrubs about as far away from a cashier as you can get. Fortunately, it was downhill. That cart only held 4 shrubs. So I took them uphill to the main building and asked if I could get help with the rest. We each grabbed carts, and he eventually figured out it was going to be slow going. So he told me he would go get the BIG cart and left with the cart he had brought, empty. Twenty minutes later, I find him at a cash register, hoping someone would hurry and check out. It took him a second to register who I was, and then he explained how he could not leave the register. So *I* walked out to the street and got one of the big carts. The kind they probably use at rodeos or something to haul off dead livestock. So I got that loaded up along with the other standard cart. An employee in the next aisle who was arranging things told me I needed to ask the cashier if I wanted help. It was obvious that anyone under these circumstances could benefit from assistance, especially if they were as old as I am. I'm pretty old. Someone did finally go to get the loaded Carcass Cart and brought it to the cashier with my other carts. All in all, over $500. I may have gotten a price break, or that was the hint, anyway. Still not enough for anyone to volunteer to help me to my truck with the stuff. I think my second trip for another cart shamed them, and someone brought down the big cart. I think there is a good variety of plants there. It's a damned shame no one there knows where they are.

This place needs improvement…read more I am looking for plants and I can see HGC has lots of inventory when driving by. I tried to call them and the phone numbers go straight to VM. I attempted to call several of the listed numbers and ended up calling the corporate office. The corporate number was the only number that someone answered. I asked about the phone going to VM and I was told they all go to vM. I then asked about inventory and was told that the corporate office has no access to inventory list. This is horrible customer service. Why should a customer have to drive to a location to check availability ? Why does the corporate office not know what the stores are stocking? What a poorly run operation! I will go elsewhere and buy from someone who actually communicates with customers.

I LOVE UO! If I could redo my whole closet, it would be filled with UO clothing and accessories…read more However, I haaate how over priced everything is: I mean, a little bralette with no support can be $39??? I don't understand it, but every once in awhile I treat myself to something that I really want. Quality of all the clothing I've purchased from there has been great and I've even gotten some little jewelry storage from there that I absolutely love. In my personal opinion, a lot of their stuff while similar items sold in other stores (cardigans, tshirts, hats), the style is one of a kind. My issue with this particular UO location was to do with one particular employee. I am by all means not trying to be a complainer, but I hate when people are just rude, fail to do their job, and complain about it in front of customers. It ruins my day--I know, my problem ;) The cashier I had here today (short, dark haired, caramel colored skin, young woman with winged eye liner--I have nothing against winged eye liner I just wanted to be specific) was just a complete bother. I went up to pay for two items. When she rung it up, my husband questioned why it was so much and I said something about taxes and when he looked to her for help she said nothing. Now usually when this happens with a customer, the cashier will read back the prices of the items...but alas, she stood there and did nothing. In fact, what she did do is ask another employee (I assume was the manager) if she could take her ten soon. After which she was clearly irritated that he didn't answer her and that she was still behind the register helping me. But her lack of customer service does not end there my friends! Once I ran my card through and signed the electronic pad, I waited for her to hand me my receipt. She snapped saying, "Can you finish???" I looked at her with widened eyes and said calmly, "According to the screen there's nothing left for me to do". She back paddled and tried to make up for her snippy attitude. My husband and I looked at the receipt to make sure everything was rung up correctly and realized that not all the bralettes were marked $18 so I had made a mistake in assuming that this particular one was $18. Don't get me wrong, I did make a mistake, but while my husband and I deliberated why the cost was so high before I paid, she could've spoke up about the prices of the items that were rung up. Fortunately, a different employee was more than happy to exchange the expensive bralette for a cheaper one and put the difference back on my card.

Everyone was so kind and helpful. Honestly they have amazing customer service, and they handled everything beautifully, she didn't escalate anything about the situation. There is NO reason for there to be a line of 8 people WITH 3 CASHIERS working while the store is relatively unbusy. Apparently, the chunkier African American cashier didn't want to do her job because she didn't even say "next customer" when she became available... she just kept yapping until we approached her and, even then, STILL kept talking while handling our items. She legitimately scanned 6 sanitizers in 5 minutes because she kept stopping to freaking gossip with her coworker about her roommate! Dude, I'm absolutely floored and was getting so upset at how slow she was going. UNBELIEVABLE.
