I just started getting back into Bath and Body Works mainly because of the plethora of candles they carry that make my home smell so good. I have to be careful not to purchase too many but honestly most of them are so so nice. They have great fragrance mists as well but I don't buy too many because the smells do not linger for a long time unless I put them in my hair then they last awhile. read more

Every time I come here and ask a question I'm told they don't have it, only to go and find it on the shelf. Located in Galleria 2 on the 3rd floor, this Bath and Body Works is all about soaps, lotions, and girly stuff. This place is definitely visual stimulation overload. There are so many little bottles to look at that I ended up not looking at many of them at all. I came in for foaming soap. Yes, I'm addicted to foaming soap. It's not that I am lazy and don't want to lather up regular soap, I just love the foam. Don't judge. I was able to get some bottles of 1/2 price foaming soap ($2.50 after discount) and 6 of the regular ones for $20 ($3.33 each). It's an only an ok deal for the soap, but there is quite a variety of soaps. I have found that the bottles are not made that well and don't depress that well over time. Pleasant service and decent sales will keep me coming back for more soaps, but I'll bring blinders next time so I don't feel overwhelmed by all the colors and shapes. read more

So, first let me say that I may be a little biased because I worked here for a year. But, I am also a loyal customer and though they may be a bit overpriced ($10.50 for lotion/shower gel), they do give you A LOT of discounts. We had new specials every week. The best well-known is the "Buy 3 get 2 free or buy 2 get 1 one free." This applies to Signature Collection only! And yes, you have to pay for the more expensive items and you get the cheaper ones free. When I worked there I had so many people argue with me about that. Also, if you sign up for the email list, you get coupons every week for things like $10 off $30 or 20% of your entire purchase. The coupons and specials we gave our customers were actually better than my employee discount. Keeping the store looking nice was an avid goal of ours and it irritated us as to why people would pick something up and then lay it down somewhere else only for us to pick up after you and go searching for items people have hidden. It makes our job so much easier if you give us the item you don't want instead of putting it anywhere. Trust me, we won't get mad at you, we'll probably applaud you. Also, we used to spent every Sunday night doing "Floor Sets" where we re-arrange the entire store and change marketing signs and window sets. During Christmas season, this can take 12+ hours. Now, I don't know how the management is now, but when I worked there I could have not have asked for a better managerial staff. They were reasonable and accommodated customer needs. If there was ever a problem, they usually had an answer. I find the same in other stores I visit as well. When you walk into the door, you can almost guarantee someone is going to acknowledge you, say hello and ask if there is anything they can help you find. We know it can be overwhelming when walking into a plethora of colors of smells. That's what we're here for though is to help. :) P.S. They do free gift wrapping! Just ask! read more

I just have to say I am so thankful for the staff and manager at this Bath & Body Works location! I had a weird situation happen at the Galleria on my way into the location, and it made me feel uneasy. After browsing around a little I decided to let one of the staff members know and she quickly let the manager know and from there they ensured I felt safe and secure. The situation did calm down, and I was able to continue browsing around and for extra measure the manager even offered to give me mall security's phone number when I decided to continue my mall adventure. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Honestly they have amazing customer service, and they handled everything beautifully, she didn't escalate anything about the situation. BBW is one of my favs! Can't imagine a world without it... Every time I see a store I just can't help walking into it and I always end up buying stuff, good stuff... This time it's their semi-annual sale! I was not looking for anything particularly, since I still got several shower gels and body lotions from my Thanksgiving haul. But I noticed they have $4 shower gel/body lotion, and 75% off on many products ($3-4 for shower gel/lotion, and less than $1 for minis). Most of the candles were 50% off and the hand wash as well. Not to mention they still have all the "buy 3 get 3 free" and other promotions going on. Great deal if you can find the scents you like! I ended up with 2 body lotions I like and 5 hand sanitizer minis for $12. So happy with what I got. I believe they have different scents on the $4 and 75% off sale each day, hoping to pick up some more later :) read more

There was a short girl named Mellisa. I don't know she had a bad day or she was trying to quit her job. At the time, I gave her the bag on the counter for checking out, she didn't make me feel comfortable with her voice, and then when I was thinking about how I was going to pay for my items, she spoke noisy to my face and dropped down my things into the bag. I come to this location sometimes, and they treated me so right, but today I have had a terrible experience forever in this store. 'm not one to ever write bad reviews even if I had a bad experience but I'm sorry to say I have to write one today. So I was in the store and was racially profiled by a store associate rylie. I bought a candle on one side of the store (white barn) and went to the other side of the store to buy a perfume. I went to checkout and the lady in front of me had just went through the same process and checked out without issue. So when I get to the front she asks me for my white barn bag so she can place my bath and body works products inside. Before she even rings me up she asks me for my receipt for my previous purchase. I found this strange considering like I said the lady in front of me did the same as me and was never asked for a receipt. But I without hesitation began looking for my receipt, I couldn't find it I had several other bags n my hand from Nordstrom so I'm guessing I possibly dropped it but I told her I could grab one of the other associates who checked me out to confirm I actually did purchase and not steal my candle. I spoke with them and they were quite confused as to why I was being asked for my receipt given I wasn't trying to refund my purchase and was literally just on the other side of the store purchasing my candle in eyesight of the other employees. The manager had to take it upon himself to walk from one side of the store to the other just to vouch for me that I didn't steal the candle and I'm very grateful to him for doing so but I was already embarrassed in front of the other customer and had to leave the line just to grab a whole other person to confirm I wasn't a thief. Looks like they got a new batch of employees or maybe these are seasonal workers but the last THREE times I was there the cashiers were very into their conversations and whatever tasks they were doing. All 3 times when I approached the check out I had to wait several minutes so the girl can finish (a) her instructions to fellow team member, (b) personal conversion or (c) checking things off a list. The last time I waited while the young black lady asked how her coworkers vacation was and now I know that it was too short according to him! You're not acknowledged or asked to wait they just go on with their conversation like you don't exist. Whoever hired this batch needs to fire them so they can stay home and chit chat with each other. It's the holiday season so it's busy, do your job so the rest of us can get on with our lives and not have it listen to yours. CS here has not deteriorated to memorial's level, employees there can't seem to get off their phones and employees here can do everything but work. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a bath and body works! I would expect that kind of service at a Walmart but not here! The woman at the register was having a bad day and it was obvious in her face and attitude towards us. First, she rolled her eyes at my mother and I and did not greet us when it was our turn to checkout . Second, she did not once acknowledge us. She kept talking to her coworkers around her but she did not say one polite word to us. Then, I finally met my limit with her after someone was trying to get through and she hollered at my mom to move out of the way. I told her she had a bad attitude and instead of her apologizing she began to argue with me. I asked to speak with her manager and she ignored me. After I was forced to ask the the other cashiers to get me their manager, the "so called manager" arrived and she refused to believe that her employee was giving me attitude, instead she also began to argue with me. She did not handle the situation what so ever. I left the store feeling as if I had been ganged up on. The disappointing thing is that I use to work at a bath and body works and I expect better treatment from this kind of place. One thing I can remember from working there is that working around the holidays can be tough and I can understand the stress; however, whenever I had a bad day at work, I never let it show.
