Prices are very reasonable and dresses are great quality. I was able to get my cousin's prom dress from here this weekend. As soon as we walked in, Chris, behind the counter was extremely helpful and accommodating. My cousin is very small and the size she needed was not onsite. He checked his warehouse and brought it back in a few mins for us to try and buy. I love that the staff is helpful, but not pushy. They are patient and understand when you say you want to shop around first. Can't say this for the other shops, as it gets very car salesman-ish at a few of the other places. The shop is small, but organized. Thank GOD, they accept tap. Just in case you leave your wallet at home like me :) Enter freely and tell Chris I said hey, they've been approved.

I have actually found some fantastic deals for little to nothing. They have a great selection of things that you can use for your home. I found a nice chocolate bathroom rug with memory foam for $9.99, purple sheet set for my daughters room for $13.99 (great quality). If you are looking to decorate your kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, or any room in your home, check this place out first before hitting Marshalls, Ross, and Bed Bath and Beyond. You just may find something at half the price. Here is a list of the different category of items you can find. Luggage (back packs, purses, gym bags, etc), and name brands like Kenneth Cole. Shoes, clothes, car accessories, comforters, bathroom accessories, rugs, etc. You name it, they probably have it. Today I found a nice large insulated lunch kit/cooler for $7.99. Everywhere else, the least I saw it for was $19.99. Even got my daughter a smaller one to fit in her back pack for $3.99. And to think, I have paid more than double that for those darn lunch kits. When it comes to the clothes, I have found a few little things, but I normally do not shop here for the clothes. Side bar: Not all are the same. This location has nice things. I have been in other locations where it was kind of disappointing

The night that I purchased the items, the store was closing so I called the store as soon as I saw the rips to ensure that my long distance number would be on the store's call log when they opened the next day. Unfortunately they did not have an answering machine. I attempted to return the ripped dress the next day even though I'd detached the tags. I figured the number of items that I purchased, the amount of money that I had spent, the fact that I'd called as soon as I found out the dress was ripped, the fact that I was visiting from another state, and the fact that my daughter and I came back to purchase more items would have been enough to receive an exception to the return policy rule concerning detached tags. The manager, Pablo, was nasty, condescending, and kept a sh%t eating grin on his face when telling me that I could not receive an exchange. More importantly, I did not want a refund, but I wanted to exchange the rip dress for another dress. Although, I will never patronize this store again, I recommend that anyone purchasing items from this store to try on all items before purchase. Lastly, I would like to say that the cashiers that assist me the night that I purchased the items had great customer service etiquette. If only Fanny & Isaiah's manager, Pablo, had great customer service skills like they do, I'm sure the store would have a 5-star rating!

The associates were kind and helped me find what I needed personally which I appreciate it. I feel like it's best to go shopping here on a Friday afternoon or some other day earlier in the week because the aisles are small and I could see it being packed heavy on weekends with barely room to move around. Today, one of the employees made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I had my headphones on, and I was walking up and down the isles, looking for earrings for a trip coming up, and the employee came up and took my baskets stating I was not able to carry my basket around , I was a little confused since I had been there years with no issues. I typically don't pay attention to the employees when I'm there, but then I realized they were following me around like a hawk. Which I get it to an extent, but I wasn't doing anything suspicious I typically walk in the center of the isles and just look at everything. I only touched stuff if it's something I'm potentially interested in. No big bag I had a small fanny pack. What made it worse was that then I watched other people walking around with their baskets being able to freely shop. Maybe because I keep my headphones on and just look for what I'm looking for, but they felt a certain way. I don't go in corners of the stores or anything. I just go there to shop. Like I said, I have been going here for most of my adult life. I felt super uncomfortable and yucky after that. I will not be returning. The picture I attached is how I was dressed today and what I look like. And like I said, I have been going there for years and never have I had my basket taken away.

Customer service doesn't need to be exceptional, but basic courtesy should be expected. Instead, they often just stare at customers and seem bothered when asked a question. It creates an unwelcoming atmosphere and makes shopping here unpleasant. I understand this is a Melrose, so I'm not expecting luxury-level customer service, but kindness and professionalism should be the bare minimum. I decided to visit Houston to try to find an outfit that matched both my expectations and budget. Princess Couture satisfied both requirements! Hiba was so patient and helpful. Some of the pieces that I wanted to purchase were not the right size. The team was able to take my measurements and alter the outfits for my custom fit. All salwar suits came with sleeves which we had added on. All of these alterations were done within three hours and I was able to take them home with me to Austin that same day. She raised the price up to $50 for a solid black ao dai versus $25-35 as I overheard she told other people earlier with similar fabric. Then I came back to cut the pants shorter. 3 women there gave me the attitude look. When we picked up, they asked for tailor fee, which they said it came with the purchase of ao dai we bought. And we had to measure ourselves. Horrible experience. No signs of why. Okay. Granted. It was day 2 of the new year. Came back today to find the long shirt I tried. Couldn't find it. So, I asked an employee. There were 4 seamstresses and a lady putting away new arrivals. She's the only person that spoke some English. She gave me an impression of "can't you see I'm busy" and said "it can be anywhere." Yeah. Okay. I found one I liked and asked for price. She said $65. Uh? Before new year, it was $75. Other store would sell me similar fabric with different designs for $60. I don't like the way they do business. A Vietnamese lady walked in wanting to try a colorful áo dài that was hanging up high. She first spoke English. Then, changed to Vietnamese. I didn't pay attention to what happened. But as I was leaving, she disappeared. I hope she got what she needed. I'm out of here.
