Huge floor space for this combined Marshalls/Homegoods. We found and bought a new wardrobe for our nephew, and it cost a fraction of what it would have been if shopping at a department store. Because it is a HomeGoods, it has a decent amount of furniture and house furnishings (full size rugs). They had the nicest selection of discounted luggage that I've seen at Marshalls'. Because it is so big, it never felt too crowded until you got into the line to checkout. It uses one long queue, with an announcement when a register is open. They had 5 open at once, and did a good job of letting people through.

I love it here! It's alwaysss busy, but if you arrive before 6, lines to be shorter. The staff is always nice and there is always soo many things to choose from. I love the choices of coffee, my grandmother tends to have a all here!

Organized and Stuffed! Huge building.Half of the store is house items and the other half is clothing. This store is an all in one !

There are homegoods and homebads. Homebads include termites and house fires. Homegoods include christening (forgive the religious terminology) every room in the house in the way Jesus and Mary Magdalene would have (forgve the sacrilegious terminology). There's usually a couple of good deals in here and I like it better than most Marshalls in the area. We come here often because it's very close to home. This is a Marshalls store with a lot of extra home stuff in the Homegoods section - they're really one big store. They have nice shoes and clothes at good prices. They also have lots of pet items, like cat trees and doggy beds. If you have some time, you can browse here and find nice stuff. I was confused at first because it is actually really a Marshall's store but if they want to call it Homegoods, that's fine. Now they've changed it to Marshall's-Homegoods - I love Marshalls and I get a lot of my clothes from here. Plenty of brand name stuff on discount. Speaking of brand names how's your ma.

I love Home Goods This location is on Gray St and Waugh. It's in the same shopping center with TJ Maxx. For me it's absolutely perfect. You can use your gift cards at both places. Okay so Marshall's Home Goods has the best things for you Home. And the clothing is cool too. The key is to not necessarily be looking for anything in particular, but looking to spend money. Their shoe department is well kept and organized. They no longer have layaway, so definitely be prepared to spend the money that day. As far as the line goes. Just be prepared for it to be long. It is what it is. I love this place.

When u know a manager and another employee hide Rae Dunn for certain people at these locations. It's pretty obvious and I know the names as well as the individuals you "hook" up. I hope changes are made soon before people start calling corporate and giving them specific names. I'll update review once thus scamming stops. Update 10.16.18 same thing happening! But now their is pictures with proof. So employees are able to hide things for certain customers which go by the name Lourdes, Vanessa and Saraí. It's against the rules west gray!

This location has good merchandise and it was pretty nicely organized. The store itself was a bit on the larger side since it is a HomeGoods as well as a Marshall's. The employees were not too friendly but once you ask for help they are helpful. There didn't seem to be many of them either. The store is super clean. One downside is they left a lot of their carts in the parking lot so many people were having to go hunt one down. The parking lot is on the smaller side for a plaza like this but it still works.

    So much inventory!!

Who's a bargain hunter?? Emran the store manager is so nice and professional! I like the inventory of the home goods and pet section. When you come you have to dig to find the good deals though. I think some items are a little over priced, make sure you cross check Amazon and other stores to get the best deals!

Nowadays, when I walk in, the sunglasses (a favorite purchase of mine) are nowhere to be found. I liked the sunglasses display when it was placed against the wall and it was easier to see the entire selection. Then, the sunglasses were moved to a vertical spinning display. And now, where exactly are the sunglasses?? Considering the fact I am also an accessories person, I found myself asking what's the deal with the wallet section? What happened to all the cool choices? Although I did like a couple of Anne Klein and Juicy Couture wallets, which I purchased recently, the other wallets were unremarkable and not on the level of past wallet options at this location. I do like the section with beauty items and soaps, but sometimes I've found the makeup is sometimes damaged by people who are eager to try the products. Clothing-wise, I think this location has been a disappointment lately, so I no longer care about looking for clothes here. So, what does that leave? The housewares section here is basic, but it is still possible to find something good - like picture frames, for example. And when you check out, sometimes the cashiers are really friendly and sometimes, you get a weird person with a subpar customer service disposition. I asked one cashier a question recently, and she answered. But she didn't answer my next question, and when I asked the same exact question again, she got an attitude. No Thank you! Improve this location, TJ Maxx folks, or I will be heading straight to Lazybrook/Timbergrove to visit the other TJ Maxx.

Shopping in the early morning (8ish am) is a much different experience than in the evening, for sure -- parking was easy to find and I was warmly greeted by the staff on duty. Because they have the stuff I need at prices that don't make me cry. Do I hate every second of it? Absolutely. The employees? They don't know, they don't care, and they certainly aren't going to pretend otherwise. Asking a question is just setting yourself up for disappointment. But hey, at least they check receipts at the door, which weirdly doesn't bother me at all. I'm not stealing anything, so knock yourself out. Frankly, I prefer it to the free-for-all at HEB, where people just casually walk out with unpaid carts like it's some kind of "Take What You Need" community market. My real complaints: 1. Makeup is locked up like it's the crown jewels. I refuse to play the waiting game just to buy mascara, so I've given up. 2. Curbside is a test of patience. Yesterday, I waited 25 minutes. At that rate, I should've just gone in, suffered through the store, and picked my own cat food. 3. The cakes are awful. Don't do it to yourself. When you get home, the frosting will literally just fall off! 4. The wine selection is depressing. But that's on me for expecting better from Walmart. All that said, they've got cheap toilet paper, coffee, eggs, and surprisingly decent green grapes. It's never a good time, but it gets the job done. See you next week, Walmart. I hate you.

I quickly pulled out the app and bingo! I found it and bought a shirt for $2.98 on that day. I came back today and hoping to strike another luck. Not necessarily the coupon but I had a good experience on the clearance rack at the other Nordstrom Rack in Westchase. But there weren't any thing for me at this Galleria store. Then, I went to the shoe clearance racks but there weren't any clearance shoes. Ok. I found a couple of shoes with special tags on the regular priced racks. Ugh. So unorganized. Back in the summer, it was my first time here after shopped at Westchase Nordstrom Rack and really liked the merchandise. I found a shirt with price tag from Kohls. After I pointed it out to the dressing room attendant, she found a Nordstrom tag to put on there. Then upon check out, the cashier tried so hard to sell me the store credit card. I told her politely as I needed to pay off my current credit card debt before I would apply for their credit card. She said "I'll be watching you next time you come in. You're going to apply for the credit card." I stopped going there during the day.

In the past, I would say shopping at Nordstrom Rack was always a good experience. I've been able to find gifts here and also items for myself. During previous shopping trips, the clothing and accessories selection was top notch. The Madewell earrings I purchased here were reasonably priced - like a real sale and good value. However, during my latest trip, I was actually unable to find any jewelry I liked and almost all of it was overpriced. The purses were also overpriced, and the main discounted items in that section were basically Steve Madden brand, which makes me laugh. I was able to find a beautiful scarf, but most of the other scarves I looked at were unremarkable. Hardly anyone else was in the accessories section aside from me. In fact, there were very few shoppers in the store on a Friday evening, which is a bad sign. In the past, this store would be crowded. In the shoes selection, there was no middle ground between heels/platform shoes and more sporty shoes. Hardly any flats! This is so odd and off to me, but maybe other people like it. Regarding clothing, I was able to find a cool brown shirt, but the way most clothing is organized in this store is counterintuitive and not helpful. The cashier did not greet me at all and had very little to say on the back end, so I just grabbed my bag and walked out. I doubt I would return to this location and have found shopping online or in person at the regular Nordstrom to be a much better experience.

My dad also lived in Houston and we'd often do shopping or eating at the mall. My daughter (who is now 30) loved (& still does) skating at the ice rink during the holidays. It's a magically fun experience. The Galleria is always incredibly decorated for the holidays. I still get to Houston 1-2 times a year and always enjoy visiting The Galleria. The Galleria itself has not only the ice rink but office space, two hotels, lots of places to eat, and shopping. The retail offerings range from shops like H&M, Macy's, and Nordstrom to high-end luxury shops like Gucci & Chanel. We were there just a few months ago and it was just as fun and exciting as my first visit! Gang, there are so many stores here. Like crazy amounts (a few hundred). With only about an hour before leaving Houston, our shopping mission was more of a speed run than a leisurely browse. Even without scoring any purchases, the Houston Galleria remains an impressive destination. The moment you step inside, you experience bright lights, multiple levels of stores, and a steady stream of shoppers that create an energetic, bustling atmosphere. Beyond shopping, the mall offers entertainment options such as its iconic indoor ice-skating rink, making it easy to spend an entire day there. One of the Galleria's biggest strengths is its variety. Luxury retailers like Chanel and Louis Vuitton share space with more accessible brands such as Banana Republic and American Eagle, offering something for nearly every budget and style. Whether you're on a focused shopping mission or simply window-shopping, there's plenty to explore...even if, in our case, we left empty-handed. The dining options are equally diverse, ranging from food-court favorites to sit-down restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory and Shake Shack to Chic-fil-a. While we didn't find the bargains we were hoping for, our fast-and-furious shopping adventure was filled with laughter and great conversation, and the kind of fun that comes from spending time with good friends. Sometimes spending quality time with friends is the best find of all.
