One of the biggest malls in the world and likely the only one with an ice skating rink inside! This was a fun shopping trip. So much to see and experience. They have the usual mall stores and several high end options as well, something for everyone. Decent food court but some great restaurant options including a Michelin star Indian restaurant.

The Galleria: 5 Stars! Hands down, The Galleria is the nicest mall I've been to and it's totally worth 5 stars. From the moment you walk in, you know this isn't just a regular mall; it's an experience. What really sets The Galleria apart is the amazing selection of designer stores. It was a joy to browse through boutiques you don't find in an average mall, a high end curated shopping experience that feels exclusive and fun. Beyond the luxury brands, there's also a great variety of other stores so there's something for every taste and budget. The mall itself is immaculate. It's so shiny and clean everywhere, a nice and upscale place to spend the day. And the food court was amazing. Not your typical mall food, plenty of options and actually good food, something for every craving. Overall my visit to The Galleria was awesome. If you want a 5 star shopping experience with luxury, variety, spotless and great amenities, look no further. I recommend it!

The Galleria is essentially an IYKYK (if you know, you know) for generations of Houstonians and anyone who's lived in the Greater Houston area. I've personally visited Houston's original premier shopping destination quite a few times, with my most recent trip before today being back when the iPhone 3GS was the must-have gadget. After taking care of some Yelp-related business in The Heights, I decided to head on down here. In an era where online shopping often leaves brick-and-mortar malls in a state of 'living death,' The Galleria continues to thrive, as it has for at least 40 years. Even on a rainy summer afternoon, it was packed with people, from kids on school vacation to out-of-town families. Houston's famous diversity was on full display; aside from English, I likely heard about four or five other languages being spoken. While the mall's interior has physically changed, one constant remains: if you're here for retail therapy, be prepared to spend! Still, it's incredibly fun to simply walk around, window shop, people-watch, and capture the scene with photos or videos. Speaking of pictures, I snapped a few of the mall's pièce de résistance, the ice rink. As much as I wanted to, I still chickened out of putting on skates. Just looking at the rink, though, certainly conjured up memories from my past visits. After spotting a rare Astros hat at the physical Lids HD store (one of my favorite online shops!), I immediately told myself I ought to return for my birthday next month. Clearly, The Galleria's still got it.

Spent the morning in the galleria at Bluey Camp. We had a 12:45 check in time but at 1:00 we still waiting on the next crew to finish. This is a cool camp for younger kids. It was a bit pricey 29-31.00 pp regardless of age. When we got inside to check in there are so many options for the wondering little eyes to beg for. We end up purchasing cookies, candy, and blinking bouncy balls. The overall experience was a 10/10

The Galleria has everything that your shopping experience would desire. The stores in this mall are innumerable. I mean you name it, The Galleria has it. We stopped by here just to find something to do and we were shocked. This mall had 3 levels, a hotel, restaurants, waterfalls, elevators, escalators, parking decks....and every store you can think of from the high end stores with lines outside them along with security, all the way down to your run of the mill toy store. There was an ice skating rink inside this mall. It was a huge one. There were many people skating. I have never been in a mall this size before. This was under SPO, so these were outlet stores. I imagine cheaper than the regular stores. They accepted military ID for discounts. Which is always awesome. If you decide to go, bring your walking shoes! There will be lots of that going on. Enjoy!

Huge mall, well decorated for the holidays when we visited in mid-November. Good mix of stores anchored by Saks, Neiman Marcus and Macys. Should be able to find just about anything you are looking for at The Galleria!

I have a love and hate relationship with this mall. It is huge! Which yeah it is fun to wander around. They even have an ice skate ring and around the holidays the decorations are amazing! What I don't like about it is the lack of real signs and directions. Once you are inside it is like a labyrinth and the map doesn't work properly. So if you are in a rush wanting to pick up something... good luck! You are on your own! Even the security guards have no idea where to direct you so plan accordingly. Most stores are on the higher end and expensive. This mall is more like a pass time for me

This is a great mall with a variety of fashionable selections of retail stores to choice from. Valet parking makes it easier and less stressful to enjoy shopping in this mall.

Largest mall in Texas, known for their very high end retailers, and their large ice skating rink. On our visit to Houston, we planned to visit downtown so figured we should go near the high-end shopping district as a point of reference. When I do that, I usually type in 'Prada near me' to see (not that I would buy anything but they are usually located in malls that are good for sightseeing). I was surprised that the only location is in the Galleria, and later learned of its rank (#1) of malls in Texas. We were easily able to take a bus from downtown. Honestly, it doesn't look that big from the outside and the entrance is a bit underwhelming, hard to figure out where the many office buildings end and the shopping mall begins. Once you get to the center of the mall, you can see the impressive ice rink on the ground floor. And it was very well air conditioned to make the inside almost chilly, even on a sweltering Houston day. And as you continue to walk, you begin to realize the many stores the mall has. It definitely is a who's who of high end national retailers that we admire (Burberry, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Versace). Didn't get a chance to visit though, stopping in at Zara for our stay. I learned the saying 'everything's bigger in Texas' when I was in high school, and really believed it on my first visit there (the AYCE buffets were amazing, and just the glasses at restaurants for tap water at restaurants were triple the size of what I was used to). But my younger self would have been surprised that this mall wasn't that much bigger compared to others we are familiar: -- Houston Galleria - 2.4 million square feet. -- Mall of America, MN - 5.6 (not fair to compare, I know) -- South Coast, CA - 2.8 -- Woodfield Mall, IL - 2.2 -- Gurnee Mills, IL - 1.9 (thought it was a lot bigger) My wife mentioned that the mall did remind her of South Coast with its size and list of retailers, and then it made more sense to me. We visited South Coast every time we would vacation in Orange County, but I haven't been back since we moved to SoCal. We are just not that demographic.

Unaffordable Brands for the Average Joe!

TLDR: This mall has a Nobu, so yeah, it's a high end mall. It also has a Cheesecake Factory, so yeah, mixed messages. BTW, I love the Cheesecake Factory, so zero shade. I think they should have swapped places with the Grand Lux Cafe across the street though. I was staying at the Westin Galleria and it was almost necessary to go through this mall to get in an out of conference rooms and back into the hotel. This mall was pretty full as far as stores go, so it reminded me of the malls of yesteryear where there's not a Church or a dollar store in the mall. It had an odd layout and several people I knew got lost, but mostly because it was unfamiliar to everyone. But if you need high end stores like Neiman Marcus, Gucci and Lego, then add this mall to your itinerary.

My second time coming to this mall visiting Houston, and I have no complaints. Every time I come they have high in stores and affordable stores that we all love! Good customer service with much selections for all age groups and styles. This mall is one of the biggest mall in the states. It's has about 3 levels with so many dining options. It's very packed since it was Christmas so many was Christmas shopping. I live this mall and the variety of the shops, dining options, and location. The garages go by color so make sure to take a pic of where you parked! It's many parking garages so pay attention you can get lost! However, I think this mall is very good to come to, to witness the massiveness and good stores! -Marshay D.

I opted to get a firm "standard" support backing to pair with my "lovesoft" seating. In my personal opinion so far, I would sink in a little too much with full lovesoft cushioning throughout the entire couch (seat and backing). The customer support that I received from the exemplary Lovesac team members like has been truly exceptional. Anthony especially has exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Anthony was fully transparent in the communication process from start to finish, attentive and thorough. Anthony created a very enjoyable customer service experience with all of the attention to detail, explanations of the configurations for the couch and understanding my various questions and concerns along with changing some of the items throughout my purchase. This store has truly created a welcoming environment with great associates. Anthony has been a perfect example of what a great customer service experience is! Highly recommend considering placing Anthony into a high level management position, communication has been a huge help. When I called to get further assistance if Anthony was unavailable Coco too stepped up to help me, great job and amazing team! The value of the product aligns with the price, the texture of the material I ordered combed chenille is supple and soft. I would highly recommend this store for all friends and family along with future purchasing for myself.
