I purchased $267.24 worth of items from Trend Mall, but I realized once I got back to my hotel that one of the most expensive items out of the 13 items that I purchased was ripped. The night that I purchased the items, the store was closing so I called the store as soon as I saw the rips to ensure that my long distance number would be on the store's call log when they opened the next day. Unfortunately they did not have an answering machine. I attempted to return the ripped dress the next day even though I'd detached the tags. I figured the number of items that I purchased, the amount of money that I had spent, the fact that I'd called as soon as I found out the dress was ripped, the fact that I was visiting from another state, and the fact that my daughter and I came back to purchase more items would have been enough to receive an exception to the return policy rule concerning detached tags. The manager, Pablo, was nasty, condescending, and kept a sh%t eating grin on his face when telling me that I could not receive an exchange. More importantly, I did not want a refund, but I wanted to exchange the rip dress for another dress. Although, I will never patronize this store again, I recommend that anyone purchasing items from this store to try on all items before purchase. Lastly, I would like to say that the cashiers that assist me the night that I purchased the items had great customer service etiquette. If only Fanny & Isaiah's manager, Pablo, had great customer service skills like they do, I'm sure the store would have a 5-star rating! read more

This women's clothing store hit the check boxes for my friend and teenage daughter as they were really looking for some trendy styles that were inexpensive. The most unacceptable thing a boutique can do is make their return policy so difficult it feels like a trap. I purchased a "one size" two-piece set that didn't fit when I tried it on at home. I NEVER wore it. I brought it back the very next day with my receipt and the tag (which I had removed but kept with me), only to be told they wouldn't exchange it because the tag was "tampered." ARE YOU SERIOUS?! So basically if I had worn it, sweat in it, and just pinned the tag back on, they would've gladly taken it back? But because I was honest and brought it back unworn with proof of purchase, I was denied. That's backwards, unfair, and shows zero care for customers. This was my first purchase here and will definitely be my last. A business that values nitpicking policies over customer service will never see repeat business from me. I tried to do an even exchange on an item I purchased less than 24hrs ago. The associate went over the return policy with me but she never stated that it would be a final sale. On the receipt it gives an exchange date in bolded letters but for some reason I was unable to make an even swap. This is very inconvenient. I completely understand the policy in regards to exchange undergarments because of sanitary reasons... but the sales person did not tell me this was considered an undergarments and that it would be a final sale instead she circled the return date and explained the 5 day policy. Don't judge a book by its cover...it looks a little shady at first, but the stuff here is as good as or better than Forever 21, etc. Prices are similar; $15-30 bucks will get you a top or jeans. But, I checked out the clearance section and got myself two super cute blouses for $11.99 total! (Buy one get one free on all clearance) The quality of the shirts that I bought was pretty great, but you have to sift through to find the nicer tops/dresses in the store. The quality of the blouses that I picked out were at least is better than those at XXI, Charlotte Ruse, Cotton On, etc. They had a lot of boots/heels in the back; most were buy one get one free. This can be a great place to find specific items. You have to go in here with an idea of exactly what you want. 90% of the clothes are really cheap, thin and made of neon colors... lol. However they have cute accessories and cute sandals and boots for the upcoming fall and winter. They also have a nice selection of sunglasses, that are nicely priced. They have a very strict return policy, so make sure you are aware of this before you purchase anything. You are not allowed to bring drinks inside of the store, I was holding a bottle of water... On 10/20 me and my friends went to this store. The minute we got there we were being watched by employees thinking we were stealing. We were talked about between ALLLLL employees and customers as well. Employees were telling customers we were stealing. I shop here all the time and the manager was walking around us thinking I wouldn't know who she is. Employees were told to supposedly fix items when we were looking at things just to watch us. I worked in a store before I know how this works. When you go into the fitting rooms they don't follow you they just let you go in by yourself but this time we were taken directly to a specific fitting room one by one by an employee. While being in the fitting room I could hear employees talking about us saying "they're to young to be going to jail". First of all H03! I been arrested before for something much worse than stealing . When being checked out, employees and managers were talking about us right INFRONT OF US! Just a bunch of HS childish looking employees! And for the manager shame on her looking old but acting like a child. Sure they are cheap and you shouldn't expect a lot but I've seen the same clothes in boutiques selling for double the price, +$40. As an experienced Harwin shopper, I do like their selection better. I came here like on a Thursday day time like 5 weeks ago before I headed out for my NY/NJ crossover trip and I rem. having to wait so long to get the shoes I wanted! There were a few I could just straight out look for my size on the shelfs below the display, but two out 3 pairs I wanted, were high up stocked near the ceiling, where you yourself cannot climb up the ladder and get them. It took a moment to get help from the staff. My first pair took only like 3 minutes, the second one took like 15 minutes. It may have possible been my fault since I didn't ask the cashiers and just waited for the ones who were in the shoes area, there were 2 people, but there really wasn't that many customers...yet I understand customers can keep ordering and ordering shoes. For these reasons, I can't be mean and knock off another star Also: I did happen to get some bras from there cause they were $5! and I got one that was a little padded and one that was laced and was not padded. Haha. The padded one blew up after one wash with all this lint on it, the not padded one still remains great and intact. DSW formerly occupied their space, so you can tell it's a decent-sized store. As a woman, I always get a little giddy walking into here because of the giant sized shoe collection on one side and all the clothes on the other size. Like someone already stated, don't come into Trend Mall and expect to get Calvin Klein-quality clothing. It's just not going to happen. You get what you pay for. But with that being said, this is a great place to get the occasional trendy piece for cheap. They have a great selection of colorful blazers, rhinestone-studded jeans and club dresses for a very decent price.
