Do not come here. Repeat. Do not come here. Though their products look amazing in store (and online) their lack of product availability, extraordinarily long wait times for products that are actually there and questionable financial policies have me wondering if this company is hiding something, or close to bankruptcy. That is the short version. Here is my experience:
Mid 2015 my husband and I were looking into remodeling our powder room so we went to Porcelanosa on Richmond. The showroom is beautiful. They really do have a beautiful display. We selected a vanity with sink, mirror, faucet, and all the little fixings. I cannot remember the name of it, but shortly after we gave the go-ahead to order the items, we were informed that the size of vanity we needed was no longer available. Bummer. So we moved on. This was when we found the Penrose set. We contacted our sales agent about the Penrose, but when we gave the go-ahead this time to order these items we were informed that the mirror that came with the vanity was no longer available. In our opinion the mirror helped create the whole look with the vanity so that blew the deal for us. We waited months before we looked again, and so early this year (2016) we walked in yet again and found a vanity with sink, mirror and faucet that we liked. The Ciclo. We went through the process to order it. This was April. The full payment of $4800 was due at the time of ordering, even though the item was being made in Spain and then being shipped over here, for a total of 12 weeks. In my opinion we should have put down a deposit and paid the balance upon receipt of the product. A few weeks later we were informed our item was going to take even longer than planned. We heard nothing until yesterday (7/15), and this was our sales rep informing us that the color we selected for our vanity was no longer available. We compared the new swatch to the old swatch and it was not going to work (a blue-grey became a green-grey and it did not work for us). Did they change distributers? How did they not know until 3 months later that color was no longer available? So we called and canceled our order. Three months of waiting and now we are still left with no bathroom fixtures.
The only saving grace in our entire experience was our sales rep, who handled all of our issues in the best way possible considering she is working for a company that is clearly going through some issues. I will repeat myself a third time: do not go here. Save yourself the time, money and frustration and look elsewhere. read more
