Again, thank you for the response and I am now a bit more open to visiting your shop. I stopped by to look for a goat milk soap for my mom. The two men working at the register suddenly stood up and were on high alert. Immediately my friend and I felt like we were being watched. They had a good selection of soaps which led me to pick up a honey bar of soap. Seconds after, the young caucasian man told me he could hold it for me in the front. Mind you I had no bags in my hands and neither of us were hiding. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I didn't walk in to be racially profiled or observed like some wild animal.

The Kitchen took a little over 4 weeks! The demo crew walked in on November 4th and the cleaning crew walked out on December 4th! Honest! We 1st hired The Showroom for a master bath remodel in 2008. Mark Carter is part owner & designer & Mark did a fantastic job with the lay-out & color scheme. This was a "right down to the wall studs & slab" rebuild. Demoed the old jakuzi, tiny shower, Hollywood lighting, vanity, sliding mirror closet doors & carpet. Came back with 24" tile flooring, a big glass walled shower with rain head & bench, cabinetry with bun feet, maximized the closet user friendliness & updated all lighting. We lived in that house another 10 yrs & never had a complaint about labor or materials. Good job, Mark, we loved that bathroom. We moved to a 1983 vintage house in 2018 & in September 2019 we hired The Showroom to update the kitchen. This also was a "bare stud" project. Mark now does his design work on computer so you see how everything will look & fit. The design & workmanship were good as ever & materials even better. All we knew was we needed more useable space & we had a color scheme in mind so we told Mark & got out of his way. The results are as good or better than for the old bathroom. The drawers glide as if on air & close themselves with a gentle shove & likewise, the cabinet doors never slam. We have so much more useable space we still haven't filled all the drawers or cabinets. We definitely recommend The Kitchen & Bath Showroom & would (probably will) use them again.

We were so impressed on how well she understood the concept of what we envisioned. United Kitchen gave us a very reasonable quote without any add ons. The crew was very friendly, professional and very fast, but perfectionist during the cabinet installation and the granite fabrication/installation process. Our kitchen make over was completed in two days, and of course it looks like a million dollar kitchen to us. Thank you so much United Kitchen! I'm looking forward to working with you in the future. I recently purchased two sets of Nautica socks at the Ross on Kirby in Houston…read more When I got home and tried them on, I found that they were slippery and made my shoes squeak (probably why they were at Ross). Living 50 miles, I called ahead and was told by the person on the phone that there wouldn't be a problem returning socks without a receipt. I made the trip in rush hour traffic (seriously), only to be told by the manager, who confirmed that she was actually the same person I talked to on the phone, that no return could be made without the original packaging. I replied that the socks didn't come in a package, only a wraparound sticker and a plastic fastener. She replied that she knew this, but considered those things to be the package. Really?!? To any sane person, those things are just trash! I suggested that she just scan an identical item from the shelf, but she refused, saying something like there was a chance of scanning the wrong one. I knew that there were only two versions of this product, though, because I had bought one of each version! It's standard practice for retail stores to grab a matching product from the shelf in order to scan the UPC. Her refusal to do so seemed to be a deliberate attempt to save face and deny my reasonable request. This misleading info and poor service wasted my time and fuel. I reached out to the corporate office, to give them a chance to make this right, but all they did was quote the return policy, which I did not run afoul of. To be more specific, the return policy does not require that the item be in its original packaging. I will be happy to remove my poor review of Ross Stores when they issue me a refund. Until then, y'all are better off going to the competition. There's plenty out there.
