All of the folks who work here sit at a table on their phones, mostly men. I was asked what I was looking for. They had the young female help us for a bit and then had her help the next customer who walked in the door before she was done with us. At least we left with ideas, but no free sample (which was offered). I have never been so pissed-off with this level of service. Each time I visited, Sam or Mike were happy to help even though we weren't ready to pull the trigger on a purchase. Building a home is a stressful process and every interaction is critical to the psyche. Thank you to Terra team for your patience with us as we visited and revisited. They also followed through with their promises to call us when a new batch of quartzite arrived. We were pleasantly surprised to get a text from Sam after the latest shipment arrived at the port and got a play-by-play of where the container was. We even got a text of what the slabs looked like as to not waste another trip! The selection of slabs is on point. We don't need a dizzying array of selections, just quality stones with reasonable prices, and Terra delivers in this department. We are very picky folks because we wanted a marble-look without the marble maintenance. Somehow Terra managed to find the quarry that had the slabs and we are happy campers!

We were in search of a small type of gravel, from a particular type of stone and San Jacinto Stone was the only store nearby that had what we wanted! We arrived and the place was absolutely spectacular, very clean, organized, and they had a great selection of landscaping plants. They have two offices where you can pay, one in the front towards where the nursery is and one in the back, located near the stone selection. We got the 1/4 inch black star gravel for about $400 for to cubic yards, which was a bit pricey compared to the crushed granite we purchased from another distributor for about $75 a cubic yard. I don't know anything about stone and I don't know which one is better so I can't say whether the price was reasonable but we really needed and they were the only ones in the area that had it so we got it. I will say that their client selection is incredible, but you do have to be a business owner in order to purchase any greenery, and that's the reason I rated this place for stars.

I learnt from the manufacturer that only 5 retailers in all of Houston were authorized resellers. I reached out to them all. Three never bothered getting back to me, one quoted me way more than what I knew it should cost, and then there was Timberline. I called and spoke with Titus, who was incredibly helpful and responsive from the get go. He had a quote ready for me within a day, and we agreed upon a very fair price. I was told the order would be delivered in about a week, and it was. There was some minor damage caused to my garage floor by the delivery company, and I texted Titus immediately to inform him. He told me he would take care of it, and I'm actually typing this out as the work is being finished, only a couple of days later. He's a consumate professional whom I'd recommend without hesitation. I'm very satisfied with Timberline, and I'll be sure to update this review with pictures once the installation is complete.
