I have visited this particular Ace 3 times within a week (including calling them once) and have been met with the nicest, most helpful individuals. At Home Depot and Lowe's, I can NEVER FIND anyone to help me. In addition to their super friendly employees, Ace has items IN STOCK that Home Depot and Lowe's never do. Literally, ANYTHING I want is out of stock OR not even carried at the Pearland HD. The one small issue I had recently was that I was recommended a product by an employee that ended up NOT being the right product for my project. I ended up calling the particular product helpline and they issued me a full refund on the wrong product and told me what I needed. Coincidentally, ACE carried the right product I needed since HD was, big surprise, OUT OF STOCK. %#+* As for prices, I don't know how all things are across the board but for my particular needs recently, they seemed somewhat to be comparable to the big box stores. BUT- for one particular item, I checked on Amazon and Ace (since Home Depot didn't carry it... WTF). The item was $2 more at Ace. (See included picture). So, despite a possible price increase on certain items, I'll still shop here over HD. Friendly staff, in stock products. Thumbs up. Please build an ACE store in Shadow Creek. I don't like driving across town to come here.

If you have ever shopped around for flooring of any kind, you know how expensive it is. We found Bob Wilson of Wilson flooring to be extremely knowledgeable about all types of flooring. We recently purchased flooring from him for our home. If you are shopping for wood, you know how expensive it can be. Many places with big signs and fancy names with ads on TV will take full advantage of you. We found other places to be twice as much as we paid with Wilson flooring. If you are shopping for flooring in Houston, you owe it to yourself to call Bob. His warehouse is located approximately one mile east of the Gulf Freeway on Fuqua. You will have a tough time find ing better pricing for your flooring needs. Now, lets talk about installation. You can buy all the flooring you need and do it yourself or hire your own installers. We used his preferred installers and I am thankful we did. His preferred installers came to our home and did a masterful job of installing the engineered hardwood we had purchased. The installers used the absolute minimum number of transitions between the types of flooring (e.g. when transitioning from wood to carpet or tile). Also, even though they installed the wood through a doorway, around an island in the kitchen and joined it back together in the dining area/living area, they did not use a transition. This is a sign of an installer that knows what they are doing. Wilson flooring has multiple preferred installers depending upon the type of flooring you are purchasing. We purchased engineered hardwood but he also has vinyl flooring, various types of tile, and carpeting. If you are looking for new floors, you owe it to yourself to at least talk to Wilson Flooring before making a decision. We are extremely happy we did. Important note: Wilson flooring does not take credit cards. Cash or Check only. Please take a moment to look at the pictures of our home after the installation.

They had many samples to choose from and held them at their warehouse free of charge until I was ready to pick them up. I have my own contractor that I use to install the floors. I think it is wrong to write a bad review on a company who did not install the floor.

They also have several metal pieces that are available to help customize your metal fencing. They also have gates, electric gate openers, and gate latches that meet various codes for pool owners. If fencing is not what you're looking for, you may consider going To them if you need any dog kennel supplies, septic tanks, trailer axles, trailers, and hitches to pull your trailer. They do keep B&W hitches in stock. If you like hidden hitches, try looking here. They also have culverts and live animal traps. As you can see, they have a plethora of items that you may use around your house. Consider going here if you cannot find what you were looking for at your big box retailer. Most of the time, I will try here first instead of a big box retailers. I find the quality of their items to be better and their prices competitive.
