Is there an option to leave zero stars? I spent over $5,000 on flooring that was sold with a "lifetime warranty." After installation, I started noticing multiple cracks, eventually up to ten across the floor, so I filed a warranty claim. I followed their entire process, including having an inspector come out, only to receive a report that made no sense. The claim was denied based on "improper installation," specifically stating the flooring was installed flush to the baseboards. That's simply not true. A proper half-inch expansion gap was left, exactly as outlined in the installation guidelines. Frankly, once they sent out their inspector, it became clear the outcome was predetermined. Instead of standing behind their product, they looked for any reason to deny the claim, and they found one. What's most frustrating is that I had flooring installed in the same home, using the same method, for five years without a single issue. The only thing that changed was the product color and brand, which strongly suggests this is a product defect, not an installation problem. Bottom line, don't put much faith in the "lifetime warranty." In my experience, it doesn't mean much, and the company will not stand behind their product when it matters. We recently remodeled our bathroom. My wonderful wife designed the remake. We looked at several tiles at multiple places before deciding on our purchase. The shower wall tile and shower floor were purchased at Floor & Decor. The wall tile is Atlasi Treasure Ceramic Tile and the floor is Sahara Carrara 2" Hexagon Marble (photo attached). We found that F&D had a wide variety of tile to choose from. Honestly, it can be overwhelming. What I did appreciate is the fact that we could purchase individual tiles and take them home to get a better idea of what we liked with the lighting in our home. Doing this can help you avoid making a costly mistake. The individual tiles that we purchased were simply returned if we did not like them. One thing to be aware of is when you are purchasing a large amount of tile, tile that is purchased in a complete box can only be returned as a complete box. Any partial tiles left over after the project cannot be returned. However, you can purchase individual tiles in the same quantity that would come in a case. If you do it this way, you can return individual tiles. One way to cut cost would be to purchase individual tiles with your 5-10% construction overage and then return what you don't use. Make sure you save your receipt. We also purchased our Schlueter and our grout at Floor & Decor. Again, we had some unopened grout and an uncut piece of Schlueter that we were able to return. Floor & Decor also has a decent selection of vanities and fixtures. We did not purchase ours here, but we did see several that we liked. We simply couldn't find the color that we preferred. Otherwise, we would've also purchased our vanity here. Bottom line - Decent selection. Good prices. Fair return policy. An easy 5-star recommendation.j read more

This store has a great selection, I didn't see anyone walking around to assist us while we were looking, I guess it could've been just because of Sunday? The only negative thing about this store was being approached not once but twice by someone asking us if we already had our contractor. As we were leaving, a guy approached us in the parking lot and gave us his card, something about it seemed shady. But I was in this Saturday trying to pick up some supplies for my tile guys, and Gabriel from the pro desk saw the confused look on my face and my frequent checks with my iPhone and quietly approached me and said I'd be happy to help you if you need it. I have been trying not to bother him as he looked busy. But he simply made my day by confirming my decision and even rang me out right there at the pro desk. Thanks to Stacy M an F&D designer, our bathroom remodel was completed. She helped us wade thru the large selections of tiles and was able to help us narrow down a design. She ran several design models to make sure we understood what the final design would look like and made frequent calls to make sure we had what we needed. Over the past two years, we've done TONS of remodeling, including tiling. Today I returned one case of tile and 13 spares from a box we bought in December. The case was refunded completely but the 13 extra tiles they would not because they were purchased in December. This is not a tile that is being clearanced or no longer available. The only reason I got a store credit for 13 tiles is the purchase date. I asked a manager and was told no. I guess the 6K+ in materials we purchased over the past two years means nothing to them. Incredible shopping experience! Paige is hands-down the best!!! We are remodeling our master bath and walked through the store for ideas. We received overall good customer service as we shopped and as we were heading out of the store, having bought nothing, Paige asked us if she could help. Within minutes she zeroed in on our likes/dislikes and understood our budget. She took the small tile I brought in, designed us a bathroom, and smoothly navigated the store helping us get all supplies needed. My contractors schedule was moved ahead of schedule so they called to inform me if I had bathroom tile picked out because they tile guy would be out the following morning. Long story short, I got off of work late and with 1 hour before Floor and Decor closed I arrived with no clue of wat I wanted for my bathroom tile and grout colors. An employee named Andrea approached me and asked if I needed help and that she did BIG TIME! Andrea helped me coordinate floor tile, decorative tiles, wall tiles and grout colors all with time to spare before closing. The next morning I was back at Floor and Decor for my 2nd bathroom supplies and Andrea was there again ready help and she did! Picking out tile and making sure all colors coordinate can be stressful but Andrea was a HUGE help. I am forever grateful for Andrea!!! I'll be back to visit her when I pick tile for my kitchen backsplash. She is truly the best!!!! read more
