Walked into the store on Memorial Day to see the sales on patio furniture. Found a set that was originally 1800, marked down to 1550 or something like that. I told the sales lady it was out of my price range, and she said she might be able to get the manager to come down to about 1000. Manager came over and said no but could do 1200. I said I was hoping for a better deal, and the manager said "Go to Walmart, that might be in your price range" which is probably the rudest statement to say to a customer. I bought a sofa from Ashley on Fairmont. It was delivered and hardly used at all and the sofa collapsed by at least 8 inches in 3 weeks. I called the company and they said that this was "normal" wear and tear...I had to wonder why would they admit to this. I went by the store and got no satisfaction from them. On February 10, 2024, I bought two (2) Power Sofas with Adjustable Headrests (Item: 5930247) at the Ashley Homestore in Pasadena, Texas. I paid $3,224.21 total for both sofas plus delivery charge, protection plan, and tax on my credit card. Ashley's delivered the sofas to my home on 2/15/2024. Unfortunately, the Leather material of these sofas has failed. After only 6 months (August 2024), I noticed the Leather peeling. I called your store and the Extend warranty company on August 10, 2024, and after 2-1/2 weeks I received an email stating that the couch was still under the manufacturer's warranty and my claim was closed. On August 23, 2024, I called Ashley's customer service and through an online chat they offered me a $167 Ashley's gift card. I declined that offer and they then offered to repair the sofa. I accepted that offer. Before any repair appointment was set up, I was notified by email on August 24, 2023, that I had no warrantable concerns present and my claim was closed, noting that the failure is a Manufacturing of fake leather. I made one more call to Ashley's on August 25, 2024, and was told that normal wear and tear is not covered. This is not normal wear and tear! You offer a one-year warranty on all manufacturing issues. Material is supposed to last for years, not months! When I questioned that answer, you had me send more photos, but then ghosted me. I expect Ashley to pick up their defective furniture from my house and refund my money fully! read more

Having had a bad experience before I asked if she was sure and was the chair at the warehouse. She said yes. Hurried and took payment and was in a hurry - obviously wanted a sale. Guess what, 8 weeks later and no chair. Every week I call, every week it's going to be another week. Twice the people I called told me it was in the warehouse. What the heck???! What a joke. Lesson learned, never again. Whoever is in charge of allowing salespeople to sale items that have over a month delivery time (WITHOUT TELLING CUSTOMERS) should really take a look at their business model. I order a dinning set in April 2021 and was told I would receive it by July. It's Sep and I still haven't gotten anything. Thanks a lot. I tried canceling yesterday and was offer a discount and a delivery for 9/22 with my table and 4 stools, and now they are saying they only have the table to deliver and the stools will come Jan 2022. Well they called in June and said it got pushed back to July. In July they said it got pushed back to August. So we're in October and I get a call saying my couch would get here this week. So I make sure I'm here all morning, turns out it was the WRONG couch. So I've been waiting since April and I have yet to receive my couch. Patrick Roewe was an excellant associate to deal with. We bought our sofa on a lease to own with an early payoff option which we took advantage of. I am sorry that I paid it off now as I have had two issues with this sofa since March. I wish that I had waited to pay it off then when I had the problems that I am experiencing now I would just tell them to come and pick it back up. I noticed on Sunday that one seat on the sofa was at least 6 inches lower than the others. I called Ashley and jumped thru all their hoops to get service. On Monday we recieved a voicemail saying that it was normal wear and tear. Now how would this be normal wear and tear since March, was this woman trying to say that there merchandise would not last and is expected to look like this after 4 months? I purchased a couch on 3/12/2022 originally that was $1000. When it came in, it had turned out the couch was 2 pieces and the money we spent was basically a sharp angled chaise with no arm rests. It was delivered within 2 weeks of purchase, and I called to find out why I did not receive the entire couch the day of. I was able to get a discount on the second piece, which was delivered close to 3 weeks later. The entire time, we had almost nothing to sit on besides the tiny chaise. When the second piece was finally delivered and set up, I was very satisfied. However, the second piece broke within a month of purchase. I had to call 5 times to get it replaced, every single time I was told I would "hear back soon". After I heard that the couch was finally going to be replaced, I was told the warehouse is currently out of stock on the specific model couch I'd purchased. So I waited a month & called back in May, for them to tell me they would not receive the product in until July. I waited until July, called, and was told a later date (July 13th turned to July 19th), I called back on that next date & the shipment was postponed again. This time until the end of July. I called at the end of July, the representative told me there was another delay until August 6th. I called on August 6th, the representative stated it would be in August 9th. Today is August 10th & I've been told the couch is postponed until August 19th. I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was put on hold for 3 minutes, and the representative hung up on me when she got back on the line. I'm so incredibly frustrated and I wish I'd known how shitty this company is before I purchased a piece of their furniture. We bought a dinning table its arrived damaged the second time it arrived built wrong. The guys that built the table onew the table did not latch but did not tell my wife of the issue. They left, knowingly knowing it was not safely latched and thought i guess we would not notice. Completly unacceptable and wrong. The leaf extension was built wrong it could not be latched. Now were waiting on the 3rd table 2 weeks till its delivered after 2 hour phone call. We went to the store after the sales man stopped answering our phone calls or texts regarding the issue to be addressed. We went to the store and salesman provided a paper for a number to call. I told Him i came all the way here all you can do is provide a number? We called the number wait at least 45 min before someone answers the phone. In mid May, I purchased a couch and a dresser that were both really nice but the process of getting it was a pain in the rear. The sales rep informed my mom of a bogo deal when we arrived but when it came time to purchase he informed us that sale ended at 12p that day. What company actually does that? Also, this was at about 6p and he didn't know? We were expecting to leave with the furniture that day but they have absolutely nothing in stock. Not only would they not deliver it, but their warehouse was about a 40 minute drive from this location without traffic. Okay then. Today I tried to make a payment and apparently you can't do that in store. Why? So there's 3 different credit companies that they use and I now have open accounts with all of them. I spoke to their service desk who didn't understand how I didn't know what company I had. How would I if I never even received the information from the company that was actually billing me? My husband and I bought a bunk bed set and a double wide recliner from there and we were told that our delivery would be in two weeks. Two days later we got a call saying that it was going to be a two month delay due to a high demand for that particular bunk bed set. Finally when it came in and was delivered, the guy tells me that he couldn't put the drawer together because there screws wouldn't fit where it was suppose to go and the center support beam would have to be moved in order to get the draw to fit. So he left it there. Then, come to find out the Bunkie board that we ordered was the wrong size. We called customer service and they told us we had to go up to the store. (Now the reason they are getting one star is because the manager was so helpful in trying to get our situation corrected.) We were told BY THE MANAGER, that everything was corrected and that they would come back out. HOWEVER, the only person that came out was I guess the delivery manager and he put the drawer together (which is why they got the second star) But no one showed up to swap the Bunkie board. We have been back and forth between customer service and the store for days only for them to tell us a bogus excuse about how we have to wait for a manager from the financing company to come sign the paper work so they can deliver the correct Bunkie board. I will never Never NEVER go back to this store for another peice of furniture. It ALWAYS shows up late, the drivers are rude & argue about what they are to do, if they can figure it out in the first place. I have been calling the pasadena store for an hour. No one answers. My nightstands have been delayed twice. No one wants to help. Now as of today 3/27/2020 my night stands have been rescheduled 4 times since they have never came in to the warehouse. If I didn't receive my dresser already I would cancel my order but they match my dresser so I guess I'll wait another month for them. Most incompetent furniture store I have ever ordered from. There have been so many problems with the deliveries of my couches and entertainment center. I will start with the couches. The first one I picked out they couldn't get it through the door. I of course thought no big deal and tried exchanging it for ones that would. Mind you the couch NEVER left the truck and corporate still put up a fight for the exchange. When it finally got approved the new couches arrived no big deal now here's where it gets bad. The entertainment center came with the option for a fire place insert which we got. They came to deliver it in two pieces but dropped and broke the wood piece and had to send it back. So I have had just the fireplace piece for over a month and they finally delivered the final piece to complete my living room. They said they couldn't put the fire place in I had to do it myself by taking out the shelf in its place and cutting a large square out of the back. I started to then realized the doors on it are crooked. I am very unhappy with this and all the delivery problems. Highly recommend rooms Togo though. read more
