I called to ask some general questions and was given information I needed to make my decision. I called back and set up a build on site with Leo. I received a reminder text detailing my request and the day before a call, to arrange the building start time. Davidson arrived promptly, started building and we were quite impressed with how quickly and efficiently he worked. Not only did we get a great price but awesome workmanship! The tow truck company Calderon Towing LLC. is just as crooked as the storage yard both should have there licenses & permits revoke and employees should be prosecuted for thief, extortion, and racketeering!!!!! issues that happened below. 1) 10/20/25 Day after accident called 0930 kept calling no answer, finally someone answered about 1130, we we told 1st the vehicle was not there. After quit the argument they said that they located it but we didn't have the correct information for them to release it to us because the police report was not available yet. On site the reporting HPD officer assured us that we could pick our vehicle up the following day and that the delay in the accident report would not stop us! HPD & the tow truck driver said we had everything we would need! This turned into another heated conversation the the person on the phone said there location had lost power and we would have to call back in a few hours and hung up. We must of called 50 times till about 1800 (6pm) with no answer. 2) 10/21/25 Day 2 after accident started calling at 0900 (9am) no answer. we spoke to our insurance company and they were sending the adjuster today also but we could either get our vehicle or at least get our personnel items from it.At 1130 we start our 45 plus min drive down to there location. we were also informed by our insurance that an adjuster would be showing up today some time. At about 1230 we arrived and they started the same crap that they still could give us our vehicle or let us in it to retrieve or personnel property from it. Then about and hr of arguing all of a sudden they said we could get our belongings... But when we get to the car it wont unlock, our battery is gone! they said they would get a battery pack to unlock our vehicle for us but it would cost $100.00's!!!! now it got bad we were threatened with physical violence moved forcibly out of their office and that's when we called the police. well HPD got them to use there pack to open the vehicle up we got our stuff and then upon leaving the adjuster called. He had been there about 1 hr before us and the battery was there and he had no issues opening the vehicle for his inspection!!!! This place is nothing but legalized organized crime by the city of Houston. The owners all employees and the companies who deliver our vehicales here are nothing more than THEIFS, THUGS, AND BUULIES!!!!! ALL SHOULD BE JAILIED!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Cons: - Does not come with door bolts - They have very poor workmanship, bent nails everywhere, staples sticking through walls ready to poke you.. - Doors would not close, so they just hammer the 2x4 until it barely fits.. after 2 days, the doors would not close at all.. - They never answer phone calls or texts!! - I finally called the other location to eventually get a call back.. that was 3 weeks ago.. I am still waiting for doors to be fixed - Door framing is terrible and doors are warped and does not seal.. I eventually got out my circular saw and fixed the doors myself.. Also added additional 2x4 wood pieces to get the door un-warped.. All in all, good value for money IF you can fix the screw ups yourself after the fact... They will NEVER call you back, but if you are handy.. thats OK..

Many people I know have a unit or should I say had a unit over at the cockrum location and they…read morehave the worst manager they have ever had right now I believe her name is alyssa she is rude to you lies to you and calls the police to harass tenants the first day that I found out about her she must have violate so many company policies if they have them just because this young man wouldnt flirt back with her while she was obviously throwing herself at any young man that was near by. Also every tenant that ive ever known of to have a unit here has been robbed not once or twice but several times and never said anything to them because after the first time that they do nothing and the second time that they do less why bother reporting anything. The cameras dont work and neither does the automatic gate thats always automatically open all day and night so anyone could just walk right up and cut your lock and get whatever they want and nothing will ever happen. When my unit was robbed the manager told me oh well call your insurance company have a good day and hung up on me. Thats some outstanding customer service right there at least now they require you to have insurance when you rent a unit. Great job guys keep up the good work make sure all tue local criminals stay in business!! Oh and dont forget to harrass the paying tennants and evict them for helping do your job.

I replaced all of my floors, painted the entire shared living areas...but something was missing..... Fire. I had my home built sans fireplace. Mistake. So I set out to correct it. And if you want a fireplace, you need a mantel. And if you're building an entire wall as your mantel, you need some really good pieces of wood to really make it pop. Enter the Mill. If you have ever shopped for live edge slabs, it isn't easy, and it can get pricey. So when I found this place on the googs, it had good reviews, and wasn't too far from my Ma's place. As you can see from the pics, this place has a variety of peices, and it is entirely dependent on what he has in at the time. He gets new pieces every so often too. If you're looking for something in particular, give him a ring and let him know what you're looking for. I've bought about a dozen pieces at this point. I'm buying wood in the raw and finishing it myself, but he also has chairs, tables and other finished products too if you're in the market for something like that. His prices are good, selection is good, and he's good to work with on getting what you need. Give him a shot. One last thing, gps doesn't seem to get the directions right. The mill is is next to and part of an appliance repair shop. Look for the sign, it's right next to the chicken joint. GPS had me a few blocks away, but you can't miss the appliance sign.
