I needed a barn and I found this place on Yelp, not the best place that I have ever purchased a barn from but not the worse place either. The prices are sky high. The delivery process is super slow and the staff "somehow" overcharged my company credit card which was a pain in the butt to get reversed. read more

After researching all my options i decided to have Tri-County Barns build my barn. I definitely made the right decision! I had a six stall barn built with waterers, a fly system. The crew that built that barn were very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. This was 10 years ago. Recently i decided to have some maintenance done on the barn - we replaced one of the doors, and a couple of the waterers- also had them check all the doors for alignment- and all i can say is that - again- Tri-County were terrific! Don came out and gave me an estimate, and set it all into motion for me. Again, the crew was great! All the work was done in a timely, and professional manner. Don oversaw the entire operation and was very easy to contact throughout the entire process. He even came out a week after the work was done to make sure i was happy with everything. Tri-County was easy to work with, and I certainly appreciated that they worked with My Schedule to set up appointments that were good for me! Most importantly, My horses love the barn, i love the ease of it. I felt that the pricing was fair, and the company has been a good partner for me over the years. read more

Tri County Barns is an authorized dealer of MD Barnmaster buildings, which are constructed of excellent quality materials; however, they are at the high end of the price range. I had Tri County construct a separate barn/garage for me when I built my house, and was satisfied with the building and the work done by the construction crew. Recently, I wanted to purchase the materials for a pasture shelter and construct the building myself, and contacted Tri County again. This was not a satisfying experience for a few reasons: - they were difficult to reach by phone and didn't respond for days to emails, - the price was the most expensive of all options I was considering, - after paying for the building, they tried to charge me an additional $1000 for an error in their shipping estimate, - the building they sent did not match the building I requested, even though the building I requested is featured on their website and I sent them the photo of it in my request, - they provided no schematics or instructions on how to construct the building, - after multiple requests, they supplied a parts list and a sketch showing the overall size of the building (not helpful), then stopped responding altogether to further questions about how to construct the building. Bottom line: After some internet research, we did get the building up and I am satisfied with the materials quality. However, if you are a DIY'er, I do not recommend Tri County/MD Barnmaster. Find a supplier who provides support for you and has good customer service. read more

Zero stars. Extremely poor customer service, with an owner who repeatedly demonstrates a complete lack of integrity and repeatedly fails to construct buildings to standard. In 2+ years of dealings with TriCounty (two projects - the second offered at deep discount because the safety and other issues in the first project were so significant; the projects combined have taken more than a year longer than promised), we have seen safety violations, been ignored for weeks on end when trying to get a hold of TriCounty, been overcharged, and had folks look us straight in the eye, shake our hands, make a promise, then completely disregard their word. Our experience with TriCounty under current ownership, as of November 2015, constitutes the building of our 7th and 8th Barnmaster structures - we have had entirely positive experiences until these projects. Strongly recommend that you NOT do business with TriCounty Barns. read more
