That said, they do not work well with home owners. I did not call or email, I went to their store, with precise measurements, and a list of the windows I needed. Full disclosure, I have worked in construction and was able to install the windows myself. They are an excellent shop, but so busy they don't have time to deal with home owners who have lots of questions and won't come back to buy again even if they love the windows they buy. Here's how to work with them. Hire a contractor who installs windows and ask them to go with you to the store and order the windows. Expect to pay at least half the money when you order. You will need precise measurements (if the windows don't fit, you pay for the error) so get those before you go to the store. Order the windows and make room in your garage ready so they can deliver them before your contractor is ready to install them.

On April 13, 2026, I dropped off a brand-new compressor at Nationwide Tools for a warranty repair…read morebecause the head gasket had failed. After dropping it off, I repeatedly called over the course of several days to check on the status of the repair but received little to no clear communication. On May 4, 2026, I contacted Metabo HPT (Koki Holdings America) directly to find out what was going on with my compressor. I was later informed that Nationwide Tools had supposedly repaired the compressor. However, based on the condition of the compressor when I later saw it, I strongly believe the unit was damaged while in Nationwide Tools' possession, possibly in retaliation for me contacting Metabo directly regarding the situation. On May 22, 2026, I finally picked up the compressor. Due to the damage done to the original unit, Metabo ultimately had to replace the compressor because Nationwide Tools refused to take responsibility for the damage that occurred while it was under their care. I also took pictures on the day I dropped off the compressor, showing its condition before service, as well as pictures on the day Nationwide Tools attempted to return it to me, clearly documenting the damage.
