On April 13, 2026, I dropped off a brand-new compressor at Nationwide Tools for a warranty repair…read morebecause the head gasket had failed. After dropping it off, I repeatedly called over the course of several days to check on the status of the repair but received little to no clear communication. On May 4, 2026, I contacted Metabo HPT (Koki Holdings America) directly to find out what was going on with my compressor. I was later informed that Nationwide Tools had supposedly repaired the compressor. However, based on the condition of the compressor when I later saw it, I strongly believe the unit was damaged while in Nationwide Tools' possession, possibly in retaliation for me contacting Metabo directly regarding the situation. On May 22, 2026, I finally picked up the compressor. Due to the damage done to the original unit, Metabo ultimately had to replace the compressor because Nationwide Tools refused to take responsibility for the damage that occurred while it was under their care. I also took pictures on the day I dropped off the compressor, showing its condition before service, as well as pictures on the day Nationwide Tools attempted to return it to me, clearly documenting the damage.

After…read morewaiting for some time for a special delivery from Grainger, we received hardware that was not what we purchased. I called TexLam to purchase the hardware and they said they it in stock. I drove 45 minutes to meet with the purchasing agent. The purchasing agent was great and helped me find the right hardware and answered every question. He even said he would pull the hardware for me to speed things up, which was great. If I could give a review right than and there it would be 5 stars easily. When they were finished with printing the order sheet and right before my service agent went to grab my supplies. Another man came out and asked him about my order. He said that the guys pulling the inventory are leaving and he needed to hurry. After my agent told the man he was going to pull my supplies, the man asked him how much was the total order. My agent replied $800, which the other man said right in front of me, " that wasn't even worth the time you spent writing it up." Now I understand that maybe that could be the case as I work in construction and there are many times when we enter into a job that may not be fiscally responsible or have a high margin. But I have never ever uttered those words to customer's face. That is rude and unprofessional. After they went to go pull my order they noticed that it was short the items that I needed and it raised the price to $980. I wonder if that was enough for them to feel that I was worth their time? I do also want to point out that after my consultation that I quietly waited 50 minutes for the order to be put in, processed, and pulled. If I wasn't in such a bind, I probably would have walked out of that place. It really is a shame bc even though this is a smaller job, we do process a lot of orders through Grainger and they would have had that business also. I may just process my orders online from now on. It's amazing how people don't think about what they say before they say it and how even one simple comment can make a pleasant customer's experience into a very bitter one.

Texlam is quite literally the crappiest…read more 3 months late, ZERO remorse, and a big fat crap left behind in a toilet. I'm a real estate investor, so I'm very accustomed to working with contractors on major renovation projects. So when my over 800-person church needed a bathroom makeover, I stepped in to help them make it happen. Hiring Texlam to supply and install the partitions was a huge, embarrassing mistake. It would have been bad enough if it were one of my properties, but when it involved over 800 church members, it became a disaster. Here's the rundown: 1. I hired a contractor to come out and measure for the partitions. 2. Apparently he called and gave Texlam incorrect measurements and the wrong colors for the restroom partitions. 3. Texlam did not pause to confirm colors or sizes before shipping. They just assumed he was the boss and charged MY debit card over $7000. They also made me pay shipping fees, which was not in the agreement. 4. The order arrived wrong, of course, and three weeks LATE. 5. At this point it was December. I called to fix the order, and got the worst runaround from the 'owner' Leslie. She finally told me they were busy having a Christmas party and would have to call me back. 6. They did NOT call me back, so I called them back again to fix the order. 7. I suffered through the rudest, most dismissive customer phone call of my life. At that point I was already out $6000 and no one at Texlam cared one bit. (This is their pattern for everything. They screw up, blame you, make you pay for it, screw up again. Don't wait for them to call you about it, because it's gonna have to be you hunting them down to fix everything, every time.) 8. I tried to hire Texlam directly to do the new measurement and installation. They told me they'd measure and get back to me the next day. About four business days later they finally got back to me, and again, the order was incorrect. We went back and forth a few days more, and finally got the order correct. 9. Their installer arrived. He refused to start the job until I showed up to sign a ridiculously shady agreement, stating that if anything goes wrong on the job he is not liable, and if anything doesn't look right he is not liable. Inspiring stuff. 10. Surprise!! He and his team did NOT do a great job, and everything does NOT look right. The partitions are scratched, all of our complaints have resulted in further charges to my credit card, and the ladies in our church have spent three months with no access to the ladies' room. 11. To top it all off, one gentleman from his team did us the extraordinary honor of dropping a big, smelly deuce in one of the women's toilets on the way out, leaving it there for us to find. So yes, if you'd like to deal with a surly owner (still secretly hoping Leslie is making that up and that some real owner exists somewhere with no idea what's going on under their nose), incompetent workers, and zero consideration for the customer, go with Texlam. I myself would rather deal with the turd they left behind than ever speak with them again.
