Worst customer service experience ever. They have nice items but if you are expecting to have any kind of assistance forget about it. I have a 7,600 sq f full remodel to buy for as a home owner and had a terrible experience there. Not to mentioned being rushed during COVID limiting me to 45min when there was not even some else scheduled after my appointment! I had to ask them if I could PLEASE stay longer than 45 min since they had no one else booked for the next opening and still was told. "No m'am only 45 min cuz we could have walking " They wanted me to drive everyday day for a 45 min slot to browse and compete my selection ??? Wow i understand that might be enough time for a professional but not for the common homeowner! read more

Showroom is nice. However I tried to register our company and they never got back to me after filling out the questionnaire. They also didn't have any answers to any of my questions about setting up an account or using them as our supplier. Were not knowledgeable about tile, sizing, or distributors. Lost out on orders and any further business since no communication. Unfortunate for all parties since you have beautiful products. read more

I made an urgent quick drive from Lufkin, Tx to Hoston (2hrs) to pick out a slab of Quartzite because when it came time to order, I had to cancel an order with a Co, In Tyler Tx. The visit started out great but no one told me I had to tag a certain slab to get the actual slab I was looking at. Luckily I had the thought the next morning and called back in a panic. By chance, I had taken a picture of the tag on the slab I was looking at and was able to get everything straight which included getting my fabricator to make the order which, thankfully, he did ASAP. More thorough instruction needs to be given to us civilian customers...Other than that I would highly recommend going and seeing their selection. It's amazing and worth it! Take pics of all the info. on the sides of the slab. read more

Absolute ANGELS work here! We battled traffic and arrived 5 minutes before closing, not knowing we should have made an appointment. Teresita and Here were SO polite and helpful, I wanted to hug them! They helped us see the exact slab we wanted, and patiently explained the next steps. The showroom has a huge selection of tile, stone, and luxury vinyl flooring. Don't show up 30 min before closing to order a small amount of flooring. I needed 300sqft flooring. I was told the warehouse staff were already leaving and they couldn't fill the order. If your hours of operation are posted but you don't work them change the hours. I own 2 companies and we work the hours posted then shut down. Yes I'm complaining bc I have to get a lesser quality product for more money elsewhere. read more

I tried to open an account to get pricing the told me I had to fill out paperwork and I asked if I could come in person so that I could open the account and get pricing since they are only 9 min. From me. They said no only via email and it would take 48-72 hours for my account to get verified which was clearly too late since my customer needed the material that day. read more

This was my second visit to MSI. First visit was great, and this was just as good. They are very well organized. We had the same sales person, Heradida, and she is a wonderful person as well as so knowledgeable and helpful. The quartz we were wanting was out of stock, but she was able to locate the one we wanted. We looked at it and liked it and were so happy to have the one we chose. Heradida is at the top of her game, so personable and gets everything taken care of very quickly and efficiently. We love working with her and will give rave reviews about MSI. read more

I loved the showroom setup and the products themselves. We are using MSI quartz in our bathrooms upstairs. I have had to make repeated visits to choose the right quartz. Due to COVID, each visit requires an appointment. The staff have been easy to work with to get the appointments when needed and availability is fairly open. On 14JUN19 my wife and I visited MSI to select counter tops and flooring for our home. We were immediately impressed by the MSI showroom layout and the amount of products they had available. We were even more impressed by the representative, Herendida Estrada, which assisted us. She was extremely professional and displayed a wealth of knowledge regarding the counter tops and flooring. Her technical expertise regarding the materials was very helpful. She was patient and provided outstanding solutions and ideas for our project. She even showed us how to use the outstanding application that MSI has on-line. We strongly recommend you check out MSI and specifically Herendida Estrada to assist you with your projects. read more

Selecting countertops, backsplash and sinks for three bathrooms, a kitchen and a laundry room was a daunting task, especially with the massive selection at MSI, but Teresita knew the inventory, and i (sorta) knew what i wanted. Highly recommend MSI. Very professional and helpful. They let us walk thru the warehouse to pick out our granite slab and gave us samples to work from. They held our slab for our contractor to pick up A week later we went back to confirm our tile selection and trim. The employees were great to work with. They took their time with us and were able to provide suggestions that made our decisions easier. read more

Very little color selection in stack stones. Our contractor sent us here fo some reason but very disappointing. Tons of employees yet no one in sales to help us. Finally after begging for some help a lady came forward but had very little knowledge of the products. They require you to fill in your info on a computer before even entering the showroom which is just time consuming. read more

Horrible. Completely horrible. We had to make an appointment (Covid) and got an email confirmation because we had to give a lot of information to make the appointment, but when we got there, we had to fill out a second online form with all the same information, which we had to do four times because their website kept dropping the information. Finally, an employee had to do it for us. We went out to the warehouse to look for a granite slab and each time we found something we liked, it took the salesperson 20 minutes to get the price. When we picked out a granite slab and were quoted a price we could afford only to have them -- after waiting half an hour --be told they made a mistake and it was twice as much. So we had to start all over again. When we found a tile we liked for the backsplash, the price was $24 per square foot --an insane price. Then we had to go back and wait another half an hour for them to process the purchase. All in all, what took us 45 minutes to select took 2.5 hours before we were finished. Terrible. We wouldn't use them again for any reason. read more

I did not have a good experience visiting the showroom and will definitely not use MSI for my home construction needs. I received an email soliciting feedback on my visit with 3 options: Google Review, Yelp Review or "Leave a Review with Management" . I chose the latter and left a message to Management with a request for someone to contact me so I could provide more details associated with my visit. In my response to "Management", I told them I would not post a review to Google or Yelp pending a discussion with "Management". Nobody has contacted me from "Management", hence my reason for posting this review. Find somewhere else to shop for your tile and countertop needs. There are many better alternatives in the Houston area! read more

We looked at one lot of fantasy brown which we did not like. It had way to much green in it. The sales woman took us to the browsing area where you don't need a hard hat to look around while she went back to her computer to check for any more available fantasy brown. She came and got us took us around to her computer and pulled up what she had available. We saw one lot that was more along the lines of what we wanted and had 8 slabs available. Looked at it said that's what we want. Took a picture of the tags attached to the 4 slabs we choose (per the warehouse employees recommendation). The sales woman wrote it down on our sheet. Told us they would give it to Bottom Dollar. MSI gave BD the wrong lot and asked if I would be willing to keep it for $500 off. Um no! Now we have no granite. They made a huge mistake and aren't willing to fix it. Word of advise if you go: have them take each piece out, take a picture with each slab and a thumbs up, a pic of the tag on the granite. The place is nice, clean, and huge and they were friendly so I gave them 1 star for that. I hope this doesn't happen to any one else. Good luck! read more
