I recently had to have my detached garage resided because of rot. I was recommended to Carlos Del Valle with Grand Stone LLC. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. He made the process of residing the garage very easy. He not only replaced the siding but noticed 2 cracked boards in the attic rafters in my garage and replaced those as well. If those boards would have cracked all the way through and broke, the garage roof would have come down. Carlos definitely pays attention to details. He replaced the wood on the front of my garage, primed the Hardy Board, and painted the entire garage as well as reinstalling the gutters. Carlos also painted an area on my house that needed touch-up. From the initial consultation with Carlos to the final cleanup Carlos and his crew did an outstanding job; the team was professional, well-organized and extremely skilled. Grand Stone doesn't care about client satisfaction. From the time of the measure to the final installation, they did not pay attention to detail, and there was no connected communication from the measurer to the production room to the installers. The owner couldn't care less about whether the customer is happy. I documented everything in writing such as "we would like to keep remaining slab pieces; we want our island cut for a flush cooktop installation; etc." and they just couldn't get it right. They had to come out multiple times to get the job done and I finally gave up on being satisfied. We are living with multiple things that aren't precise such as the hole cut for our faucet visibly off center. They only reached out to me to discuss anything when they wanted final payment and really didn't care that I was not happy. Just shoddy workmanship overall and no respect for the client. read more

Oh 'ma goodness.... Grand Stone is a hidden gem!! I've been through the ups and downs with the contractors and the subs lately, so to stumble upon Christina and the rest of GS, was a breath of fresh air I desperately needed. I sincerely appreciate the experience, attention to detail, consistent & constant communication, and just the overall aura when dealing with the staff (I've only gone through Christina). Not to mention, the display of knowledge and recommendations for layouts is very informative and in-depth. Even though there was a small "oops" on the measurements for my window sills, the proposed fix turned out beautifully and made no impact on the appearance of the finished product. I found all the staff courteous and willing to go out of their way to make sure I was happy with my new surfaces. Even the installers they sent out were professional from beginning to end. They took their time, were courteous, informative and cleaned up after themselves - within reason (obviously there was still some dust in my yard, but nothing a good downpour or watering wouldn't handle. Major brownie points! ;-) I'm very much looking forward to the backsplash installation and finally getting around to enjoying my new surfaces! It's been too long! We've completed one install (kitchen counters) and have one more in the works (quartz in my study) and couldn't be more pleased. I was looking for a granite counter top to replace my old bathroom counter. Priced several in the area but Grand Stone was the most reasonable and professional. I wanted to take a sample home so they cut me several pieces while I waited. (The guy on the corner at the other granite place literally took a hammer and broke one off for me and only gave me one choice). Installation was good - only complaint is they left a little mess in the driveway that I had to hose off but no big deal. Note: There is a Granite place on the corner of Jones & Jones - this is not Grand Stone. You have to drive to the end of Jones Rd. West and it is tucked away in a corner. read more

My husband and I were interested in new kitchen countertops, and met with many different fabricators, and stone yards before making our decision on Grand Stone. My first meeting with Carlos (owner) was more than I expected, and I could already tell there was something more genuine about this company than any of the others I had met with. He sat with me, looking over pictures, sketches, dimensions, slab choices, discussed our budget, took me on a tour of the warehouse where they cut their stones onsite and took as much time as was necessary to go over all of my options with me ( and I was a walk in at that, no appointment!) I felt like he was really trying to earn my business, and was appreciative that we stopped by. There was constant communication from day 1 until the end of the project which took less than 2 weeks total. Once my slabs were delivered to his warehouse he laid out the plan over 2 slabs and I came back in to look over the design patterns and agree on the layout before he ever even cut the countertops. That spoke highly to his attention to detail. He made sure all the veining of the stone flowed together and tried to make it look like one cohesive piece. His guys arrived around 9am to begin the installation process and did such a great job! All the mess was cleaned up from the house before they left, and the countertops were cleaned and sealed. I would choose Grand Stone again for any other stone project that we have, and would recommend them to everyone I know who's interested. My general contractor has used the sales person Nan for years. So we decided to give Grand Stone a shot even though we had not used them before. Big mistake. From the beginning they were screwing things up. They never came out to measure the job so when we bought the granite, they had us buy two slabs. We didn't need two slabs! Well, at least not until they broke the large piece at the sink. So now they get into the second slab that should have been returned....this jacked up the price of the job for sure! The installers scraped up the freshly painted cabinets. They did compensate me but the reason you spray cabinets prior to everything else being installed is so you don't get paint on stuff. Now we had to go back and do patch work without messing up the new stuff. The installers left a huge mess behind. They smoked and left cigarette butts all over the driveway. While they were cutting the stone, they had my garage open. They cut so it threw all the fine dust all over my garage. Everything covered. The owner Aurora Del Valle couldn't have cared less. On top of this, I had to take a second day off work to be there while they re-installed the second piece at the sink they had broken days earlier. They tried to put me at the back of the line and come back in three weeks! Unreal! The final product looks great. The path to get there was HORRIBLE. The owner does not give a damn. She does not return calls. When you email or text she has someone else get back with you, and of course they have no answers because they have to check with Aurora. Find someone else to do your job. These guys may be good in new construction but inside homes being remodeled they are a disaster, read more

We were given a list of fabricators from a specialty tile company we visited. From the list,we called three companies for bids which included Grand Stone. Grand Stone was the choice for us after much discussion . All three companies came by, ( one was way over priced from the other two). Cost was one part of the selection, but we were impressed with the remaining two. It was a close decision, and it was the correct decision. We were very impressed from the start with Eurial who came by and took very detailed measurement. He is very knowledgeable and made suggestions we overlooked.. Later we talked mostly to Christina and much later Aurora who took the time to reassure me they take the prettiest part of the stone to use on the counter tops. We selected a sample that showed more vaining but the actual slab showed much less vaining . I was so disappointed because I have looked for over two years to find the correct color counter tops. I used two different choice of counter tops in my kitchen and the choices blend very well. After being reassured about how they use the fabrication with the prettiest parts , I was relieved. The two guys came by were courteous,made a suggestion we needed to hear on one lower cabinet, they WORKED straight through ,job was very neat and professionally laid. JOB well done.They COVERED our white counters with a type of Saran wrap for protection on the area where were going to work back splash. I would use this company again and recommend them highly..
