I loved my time at Evolve Cryo + Wellness! I came in for a 90 minute A Million Roses Massage. When I first came in the staff was very friendly and brought me a glass of water. This was my first real massage so I kinda knew what to expect, but not exactly and was slightly hesitant about having a male massage therapist. However, he was incredible! I was impressed by his knowledge of anatomy to really target my problem areas. His vibe made me feel very relaxed throughout my entire massage and comfortable enough to speak up when the pressure was too much over sensitized areas. The massage far exceeded my expectations and I felt all the stress leave my body. This full body massage also included a scalp and foot massage which I greatly appreciated. The rose oil smelled AMAZING. I left it on all day and it made my skin so soft and shiny and didn't feel sticky at all. I love this place! I came with a pain level of 7-8 and exhaustion and leaving with a pain level of 0 and energized. Will be definitely coming back. I did cryo, and got complimentary oxygen and compression treatments. I took cryo only 1.5 minute, of 3 minutes offered, but that was enough for me. It was a little bit scary for the first time for me but I felt muscle pain relief immediately. I didn't care that much for oxygen treatment. Compressions were nice. Subscribed to the membership option in late 2019, then stopped entering the building in March 2020 due to the extremely fatal global pandemic killing hundreds of thousands of Americans beginning in March and continuing indefinitely. Assuming the contagion would be eventually contained, I continued to allow the $100 monthly membership fee to be withdrawn from my account automatically throughout 2020 in order to make use of the appointments once *i* felt it was appropriately safe to do so. In December 2020 I lost my job and had to move out of state as I could no longer afford my housing in Austin. I notified the business immediately and requested a refund for my unused credits seeing as how they are not franchised in other locations. Considering the unprecedented nature of this horrific pandemic, that should have been an extremely easy request to acknowledge, understand, and fulfill. The ONLY response to my over 10+ follow up attempts through every mode of contact available was that they would refund ONLY my LAST charge, and that I was welcome to come and try to squeeze EIGHT MONTHS of services into the few remaining days before my move. When I advised them that that was impossible because of my having contracted Covid despite taking the same level of precautions they tried to assure me they are taking and being a carrier, I got no response ever again. I filed a complaint with the BBB which was closed due to the business citing their ONE previous response which did not address ANY of my concerns or my request. Disgusting unethical business practice. This will not be over until I have received my EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS for which I CAN NOT receive services refunded back to me. read more

While I've never been to this venue and can't critique their location, I can say the service here is bad. I've attempted to utilize their sauna and have been randomly cancelled on, then ignored when I tried to reschedule, and then when I did finally get a response I was told the day I requested for a second time wasn't available and I'd have to wait. They've never offered to make up or benefit me for THEIR mistake or poor communication/lack of attention to detail. Not impressed. I'm so happy I found Evolve! I've got some low back pain that I'm working through with the help of the amazing team at Evolve. Regen with Meaghan and Aly has been absolutely amazing, one of my favorite treatments! Patrick's massages are incredible for getting me stretched out. 30 minutes in the sauna before is a great way to warm up! Acupuncture with Kirsten has been so educational, she takes the time to really ask and listen to what's going on with me at that particular moment. And Carmen's facials are just the "me" time that I need! She is in tune with what I am wanting to accomplish with my skin and helps guide me through my routine at home to help me get there faster. The owner, Molly, is so involved with her clients and really gets to know each of them. It's important to her that the members at Evolve are happy and getting the most out of their time and experiences there. Where to begin with EvolvE! This place is a one-stop healing center that has a staff that is warm and welcoming. This is the example of how establishments like these should operate - from the multiple modalities of healing they offer, to the calm and cool decor, to a wonderful staff that cares about its members. On to those modalities... They offer: cryo (whole body or spot), Compression, O2 therapy (through nasal cannula), massage, acupuncture, and then some specialized facial treatments (stem-cell!). Personally I go for the cryo, O2, and compression. For some context without going into life story - I'm somewhat of a bodybuilder, noncompetitive (although one day I may), but mostly do it because it's been a passion of mine since I was around 13. At 36 presently, and after many years of lifting heavy, my body has taken a beating. I have tried the common healing modalities - sauna, massage, and chiro. All with some modicum of success, however, one day I was flipped on to cryo-therapy from a Pro Bodybuilder. I did lots of research, and the long and short is through anecdotal evidence I have come to the conclusion that it is amazing! Joint pains dissipate, and don't linger like they used to, lower back pain has subsided while lifting almost completely, my skin feels better, I feel better... it is amazing. At this point, I don't know anybody who has ever tried it, who has anything but positive things to say about it (other than you get freezing cold, it's only 3 minutes max though!). More and more professional athletes are using it, and I recently heard it being discussed on a podcast with a biochemist discussing scientific in this field. I want to be careful with my Yelp review here, and disclaim that I am not a Dr., but all the information and anecdotes I've heard come out of cryo are positive. The O2 and compression help me relax afterwards while on their super comfortable bean-bag loungers with electronic massage pad. The tranquil environment with their ambient rain forest noise, along with all the aforementioned, helps me to drift off after a stressful day. Did I mention the staff is amazing? All the ladies here are so nice, and make you feel welcome the moment you step in. They also don't mind to chat with you while you freeze, in case you need to take your mind off it! Needless to say I became a member after trying it once. I will also note that I have been to other cryo-therapy establishments in town, and haven't looked back since finding EvolvE. read more

I've been debating writing this review but feel it's my duty to give others the heads up about what the lymphatic drainage massage entails. I booked a lymphatic massage at Evolve that I was really excited about. I had never had one, and when I was waiting for my therapist I asked the receptionist what articles of clothing I should keep on for this kind of service. She told me that it's standard to wear whatever I would normally feel comfortable in for a regular massage, so I took my pants off and only left my underwear on. I feel like that would have been the right time to tell me that the massage therapist will be massaging RIGHT outside of my bikini line with my legs bent in a frog position, which I was certainly not expecting. I don't know what lymph nodes are that close to your bikini line, or why I wasn't told to keep my pants on- but lesson learned. While on my back face up, my legs were opened while wearing just the sheet for what felt like the better half of the massage. The sheet wasn't staying in place, I was in my underwear with my legs spread, and the whole thing was very unnerving- so much so that the therapist actually acknowledged out loud that I still had a sheet on to assure me. Evolve; If this is what your lymphatic massage includes, I feel like there is a responsibility here to advise your clients before they take too many articles of clothing off, especially for a spa that has male therapists on staff. Woohoo! I've never been able to rationalize spending money on 'self care/spa day', until now. Walking through the Evolve doors is refreshing every time. I love to see all the ladies at the front desk, and they always call me by name. It's clearly a priority for them to take away some of the anxiety that comes from trying something new or meeting a new friend. I've never felt so warm and not judged in a salon or spa. Memberships have always intimidated me also, but with the clear affordability and communication about what is offered, I didn't even think twice. I got a luxurious massage with Patrick and was so thankful for the translation of what we talked about would be helpful to the actual massage. I had been struggling with some nasty shoulder tension and couldn't rid myself of the headache it caused, and after the massage I felt much better. Compression therapy is complimentary and you could sit in the comfy lounge spot for hours getting squeezed if you wanted to. Lastly (for now), a special appreciation for Audrey who handled my nerves before the Cryo tank very well. I mean, I WAS about to hop into an extra freezing cold tank for three minutes, of course I'd be nervous. She was so funny and nice and welcoming while explaining all the things that would happen. She also chatted the whole time I was in the tank so I would be distracted, which helped immensely. After cryo treatment I felt exuberant. All of the healthy mind hormones that lay dormant in our daily life were all brought to life! I felt so enthusiastic to go about my day and to come back soon. Cryo treatment is included in memberships so it almost felt free ;) Before concluding this very long review, one more thing. The staff (I don't even want to call them that because they're like friends who want you to feel nice) are so proud and excited to show you what they can do. To have a friendly conversation with someone who is super smart and experienced in their line of work is like a refreshing spa day in itself. This place is absolutely fantastic. They have everything you need in order to recover from an active lifestyle. Whether it be the cryo, the infrared sauna, or the compression and oxygen, they have what you need.
