Although the cryotherapy was an experience, it's not something I'd try again haha. I always enjoy the sauna which was all to myself. They provided water and a peppermint mint towel for after the sauna that was refreshing! Clair was the one who guided me throughout the whole experience! She was lovely! Although I didn't end up getting the membership due to the location being far from me and my current needs it's definitely something I would try if I lived closer to be able to really take advantage of all they can offer! This was such a great find. I've driven by here many times and somehow never noticed it. I think I found out about them via social media. I scheduled a facial and liked all the different services they offered and was curious what they were all about. I've since been back several times for massages and facials and all have been excellent. Patrick gives the most amazing deep tissue massages and knows his craft well. Quite magical indeed. Plenty of parking in their covered lot. It's one of those retail street level and condominiums upstairs. Retail parking is free. I was greeted by cheerful front desk staff and given a tour of their facilities. They have a lounge area with these compression devices for either the legs, hips or arms. Also cryo therapy. Which is a cold booth your stand in with your head out the top and you wear socks and mitts. I enjoyed the Cryo and got a fairly good massage, but when I ended my membership for medical reasons, I still had one credit. When I attempted to use that credit at a later date, they were not very nice and told me I'd didn't matter if I had paid for a procedure or not their policy is you lose your credits. I was really weary coming in about getting up-saled the entire time.. or worse deal with snooty employees since I wasn't paying for anything. A friend of mine tagged me in their biz's SM account during their 12 days of Holiday Giveaway so I went ahead and entered myself. Surprisingly enough, I won! First time visit for a massage and I felt very safe. There were only a couple other people there at the same time, and all services were spread out and cleaned thoroughly. My masseuse and I wore masks the whole time and it was so nice to have a service like this -- much needed! They offer free compression therapy with any service. I'd never had that done before -- basically big "boots" that go over your whole legs and then fill up and deflate to compress and relax. I recently discovered the Wim Hof method of Cold Therapy and wanted to take the theory beyond cold showers so I decided to try cryotherapy at Evolve. When I called to schedule my full body cryotherapy I discovered that Evolve does so much more than cryotherapy so I also booked cryoslimming for my arms (they have become a little flabby since quarantine) as well as compression therapy. First, Evolve is mindful of our current circumstances and was fully prepared to protect me and all of their customers against spreading germs which made me feel so comfortable and safe. Second, the facility is not only state of the art but it is also beautiful and soothing. Thirdly, I want to express how professional and knowledgeable the Evolve staff is. As a Clinical Trainer knowledge and comprehension of products and services is paramount to me and I won't go to anyone who I do not feel is qualified to treat me. Cassy was scheduled to perform the cryoslimming on my arms, prior to treating my arms Cassy explained how the procedure worked, what I should experience throughout the treatment and how many treatments I will need to get maximum results. The treatment was precisely what she described and the before and immediate after photos were extremely impressive! I made an appointment with Cassy and warned her "I've never been able to make it longer than 2 mins 20 seconds bc of my asthma"... She assured me to just relax and breathe through it. And unlike the other 2 places in Austin I tried (where they literally wanted to have high energy conversation with me the entire time), I was actually able to relax and enjoy it and make it the entire 3 minutes without even getting the cold shakes! After the cryo, I did 30 mins of leg compression. The room they have you in is so serene and wonderfully calm.
