Such a wonderful experience!! Jeff was super friendly and thorough in his explanation of the cryotherapy process. I never once felt uncomfortable or worried--he was so helpful and nice! And he definitely knew what he was talking about. The process itself--COLD--but heck, do you feel alive after! It helped immensely with my mood and general well-being, as well as some back pain. I cant get enough of this place. I have been to a number of these studios around town and this one has the process down. I think the biggest thing for me is that I feel very safe and comfortable here. The staff is always kind and helpful. I really like how they will talk to me casually during the session, it really helps. The office is really well laid out. Very simple, but clean and professional. They are always ready to answer any questions I have about the process, or what to expect after and just in general give me great tips on how to utilize the cryo. I am by no means a scientist, but ill try my best to explain what i know about cryo, specifically this place. For me the biggest improvement I have noticed is my sleep. Which you just cannot put a price tag on. It just knocks my stress levels down on so many levels that I get the best sleep ever after cryo here. Lowers my blood pressure, resets my resting heart rate and i also love how it makes my skin look after a couple sessions. The second biggest benefit i get from it is weight loss. I doubt they will market this, but i will work out 5 days a week and just hit a wall. With cryo i really think my workouts almost "count" for more... if that makes any sense. I always can go spin or do a group class and feel like i can get the most out of it, bc the cryo takes my stress levels WAY down. I forget the number, but they said the process actually burns something like 400-800 calories in those 3 quick minutes. My husband is always super hungry afterwards, so i believe it. I just know that after a solid week of cryo and the gym ill look and feel so much better. Clean, professional, and makes me feel relaxed when im there. Ever since I first started doing cryotherapy at Cryofit, until now, they have taken great care of me. They really know there stuff and I have never felt misinformed by them. In fact, they give so much information on the benefits it's mindblowing. I have done many "freeze" sessions to get ready for marathons, and ironmans, and it has helped immensely. I have also done the thermal sauna and was blown away by the benefits I felt. Now...they have tried to talk me into the IV's(I hate needles), so no report on that. I went to have a vitamin shot cocktail; I was impressed with the attention and professionalism. The doctor facetimed us to make sure I was in optimal condition to receive the shot. Price was good and I can tell the cocktail received was pharmaceutical grade. I am making plans to return every 2 months for my shots as I need them due to medical condition. I went to my first session today @CryoFit Austin off Bee Caves Rd/Mopac Rollingwood/Westlake area. I LOVED IT!!! Anna was my CryoFit therapist, she was extremely knowledgeable and very personable! I met Brian Balli Co-founder and one of the owners, super nice and very knowledgeable as well! I love the fact that he grew up in Westlake, went to Eanes ISD, an Austinite...homegrown if you will.
