This is a cute cafe located in a busy shopping center with plenty of stores nearby. You order at the cashier, take your seat, and are served at the table via number. Everyone here was very nice, the cafe was clean, and it was busy but not overwhelming. We ordered the avocado toast with a side of eggs, the essentials plate, a rose latte, and an orange juice. Before tip, it was $60, which I thought was a little expensive for breakfast but given the area and the aesthetic it kind of fit the bill. The ingredients were fresh, but I did feel the avocado toast could've been seasoned more but not a big deal since they had salt and pepper on the table. I loved the mint/feta/sesame combo. Unfortunately, my husband was still hungry after his meal (and he's not normally a big eater). I think it would be valued more if the breakfast plate had just a bit more of the potato or an extra slice of toast.

Being in the area once a week, we decided we would try a new place each time. Today, we stumbled upon EVERYDAY EATERY. Located in a big shopping plaza, with lots of parking available, we grabbed breakfast. There are a few tables inside, which were all mostly taken, which is a good sign for a Tuesday morning. But there are plenty of tables outside as well. We got The Essentials which consists of eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon or turkey sausage, and toast or salad. Had to try the lemon ricotta hotcakes which were my favorite. So fluffy and absolutely delicious. I also tried their cardamom rose latte which was really good, too! Overall, we enjoyed our breakfast here. Staff is friendly, place is clean, and food is great!

I use to always come here in 2021-22 and found my way back. This time I ordered the ricotta hotcakes and it looks delicious! I love their coffees. Food and drinks are all great and fresh here with great service.

Spanish Lattes, French Toast Forever and Bacon Breakfast Burrito

Today's trip was to try brunch and we were impressed! The customer service was sublime and we ordered: -French toast forever (a tad burnt and definitely needs more "stuffing". The stuffing was so light it kinda appeared like melted butter) -Breakfast bacon burrito (a little too salty, and the salsa it came with was delicious) -Spanish Lattes (best I ever had)

I got a chance to visit Everyday Eatery today and had an average experience. Food: I ordered the scrambled egg sandwich with breakfast potatoes. The sandwich was delicious and so was the breakfast potatoes. I also got to try the hot coffee which was also good. Service: The service here was average at best. You pay tip for them to bring you the food and you order at the counter. Ambiance: The decor inside is nice but the seating is not very comfortable.

    That's where you order

We had a chance to try out this restaurant for breakfast this week. It is located along Irvine Center Drive, near Sand Canyon. We went in, sat down and waited. No one came to us? Strange? I went to the counter and was told you must stand in line and order your food. I grabbed a menu, read it, made a selection, and was given the option of 18 to 25 percent tip. What for? I did everything. Oh, they brought the food to me. Here we go again? A DYS restaurant. This seems to be happening everywhere. Restaurant owners are designing their service as DYS. Have we lost the value of human contact? Have we all given up on the value of humanity? Twenty years ago, everywhere you went, we talked to each other; now, it's tablet, cell phone, texting, tap your card, DYS eating. I asked for a coffee. They gave me a small paper cup. The coffee is really good, but not in a mug? No refills? The food came. It was okay. We sat shoulder to shoulder with other customers on a steel wire chair. It was not very comfortable at all. It would have been nice to talk to someone who worked there, but again, they just do their job and don't have time for chit chat. No reason, they are not earning tips. I rather go to Dennys up the street. They at least serve you and talk to you. The whole experience was Okay.

This is a nice place for breakfast! It gets crowded on weekends so prepare for a long line but it goes by quickly. You seat yourselves and while there is limited space inside, there is plenty of outdoor seating. The staff is really nice and the owner kept checking in on us which was sweet. We got organic chai to drink. For food items, we got lemon ricotta hotcakes, breakfast burritto with bacon, and a side of house made potatoes. Organic Chai- Served hot with just the right amount of sweetness and spiciness. A comforting drink for cold weather. House Potatoes- Served hot, crisp, and perfectly seasoned. The chipotle aioli is smoky with a little kick of heat. Lemon Ricotta Hotcakes- The hotcakes were soft and fluffy. They give sliced bananas and berries for a fruity accent. The honeycomb butter was the best part! It added sweetness and a crunchy texture that elevated the dish. Breakfast Burritto- You can pick a protein and we went with bacon which was crisp and meaty. The burritto was loaded with eggs, potatoes, green onion and cheese. Chipotle aioli and roasted salsa tie the flavors together. Very filling! Great experience overall!

Found this place while looking for a quick and quiet breakfast place, not too far from Irvine Spectrum. Nice cafe with indoor and outdoor seating and a good spread for breakfast. Tried their Spinach omelet with feta and got a mocha with almond milk. The omelet was perfect, loads of spinach, not overtly greasy/buttery and the feta just balanced it perfectly. I appreciated the generous side of greens that came along with it. The mocha really hit the spot for me - not too sweet and chocolate was good quality. All in all, exceeded my expectations. Service was great- friendly and attentive. I highly recommend going here if you're in the area!

I finally made it here to try. However, on this Saturday, the line was extremely long. We probably waited over an hour in line and then to get our food. However, they did move OK. I really wanted to try the food, so I was willing to wait. They have a variety of the new options. I settled for the chicken and avo salad. I really enjoyed the jalapeño citrus dressing. I would definitely come back again. My coffee I also got the homemade peppermint syrup as a latte and I enjoyed that as well. Friendly staff.

Lot construction going on (as of April 2O26!)- make time to find parking

I really want to love this place, especially since it is walking distance from my work, but I am never impressed whenever I go... The vibes are nice (shoutout to the guy who was wearing a strawberry dress shirt- you have impeccable customer service!) and the food is okay... but nothing gives a "Wow" (including their breakfast burrito, which is apparently one of their best items)... besides the salsa... maybe. I've tried the lemon ricotta pancakes, as well as a rice bowl, and a few drinks, but my friend and I both agreed it's forgettable

    The Essential.

Looking for breakfast nearby and found this place on YELP. So glad we tried it! Everyone on the staff could not have been nicer. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. We ordered The Essential, which was the standard egg breakfast with potatoes, protein, and toast. There was nothing standard about it. Both the bacon and the turkey sausage were delicious, the eggs were cooked to our specifications, and the sourdough toast was yummy, although I wish they would have buttered it for me when it was still hot, instead of bringing me a pat of butter to do it myself at the table. The Brekkie Potatoes were a delight-just roasted potatoes with salt, pepper, and thyme. The Spring Special Honey Lavender Latte is, in itself, a reason to come here. In the photo, I dug in before I snapped it, so some of the food is missing, but you get the idea. Recommended!

This was my first time coming here for breakfast, though I've been here many times for lunch, both dining in and getting takeout. It was much less busy than usual, which was a nice surprise. I ordered the lemon ricotta hot cakes--something I'd always been curious about but never tried since I'm not usually a pancake person. They turned out to be really good and are definitely shareable. I could only finish about a hot cake and a half. The brown sugar butter on top was especially delicious and added so much flavor. The restaurant is usually busy, but today it was calm, and I was able to get a table inside right away. The place is cute, and the wait time for the ricotta hot cakes was shorter than expected. Overall, it was a pleasant breakfast experience.

Support my local Asian business coffee shop here in Irvine by buying this delicious Americano with hot condensed milk. Beautiful location in Irvine close to hospital and business district. They have great quality coffee and fresh made bakery selection too. But today I will just enjoy my coffee and breathe in the fresh air of life. Full of natural vitality and vitamin D3 aka sunshine mas gratis. Happy Asia New Year 2026!!! The fire horse rides to victory and success in 2026.

Hello, what brands do you use for chai and matcha? Thank you.

HI there! We use Mizuba Matcha and Inteligencia Chai.

    Are dogs allowed?

Only service dogs are allowed inside but there is patio seating where they can be

Besides the sweet foods and breakfast sandwiches (can't have eggs), are there options that onion/garlic/scallions/chives/etc can be removed? I know there are sauces and seasonings but I'm unsure if they contain alliums (those foods listed above)?

I highly recommend our Vegan Scramble with Brown Rice (instead of the quinoa; containing onions). This is one of my favorite dishes on the menu, and meets your dietary requirements!

Can you please have a separate line for patrons who only want to order to-go drinks? It doesn't make sense to stand in super long lines just for a latte ☹️

Absolutely! If you're ever after beverages only, you are welcome to come to the to-go table and we can jump the line for drinks!

On the weekends, when will phone and online ordering be back?

Is there outdoor seating right now?

Yes there is shared outdoor space. Shared space is for all restaurant patrons in the plaza.

    Do they have WiFi?

Hi there. Sand Canyon Plaza has guest wifi services for the whole plaza, and there are conventional plugs and phone charging points at a number of locations outside. Hope this helps.

    Does this place take reservations?

We are counter-service, and you don't need reservations to come eat here. We have plenty of outdoor seating and there is no problem finding a table.

Is it laptop friendly 😂 😂 go to Barnes & Noble or Starbucks

Do you guys have lavender syrup for coffee?

Your timing is perfect! We make all of our syrups in house, and we are adding lavender to the menu tomorrow!

What vegan breakfast options do you have?

We have vegan options for our Avo Toast and Maple Olive Oil Granola, and our Macro Bowl is vegan too. Currently, we have a vegan carrot cake as well. In the coming weeks, we are launching a vegan scramble bowl with tofu and veges, and a vegan… Read more

Do they have any high chairs for kids?

    No high chairs sorry.

Are you a nut free restaurant?

No, sorry, we are not nut-free.

Can I order breakfast at lunch time?

Yes, last time I went at lunch time I was able to order breakfast.

Is there outdoor seating so that we can our dog?

    Yes, plenty outside.

Can they make whole grain pancakes?

Right now we have a house-made hotcake batter using ricotta and other ingredients. It is not a whole-grain recipe, and we don't have a gluten free option for this dish.

    Do you serve organic coffee?

We serve Stumptown 'Hairbender' blend espresso, and House blend for our brewed coffee. The emphasis is on having the highest quality and consistency, and on ethical farming and trading practices. Although Stumptown does offer some organic varieties,… Read more

Is the ricotta pancakes gluten free?

No, sorry. Our Green Brekkie Bowl, omelette, essentials plate and huevos rancheros are all gluten free though.

A look into their pastry case led me to also request a raspberry danish. The single person behind the counter who was taking orders and working as barista was not exactly charming but it was understandable as she was slammed with multiple customers right when I arrived. My order was presented within a couple minutes (she was great at multitasking!) and I sat out on the patio. The iced mint cold brew was refreshing and was like drinking a box of Campfire Girl mints, both chocolatey and minty (sidebar: I am so sad that, as of last year, those mints are no longer made). It essentially was a mocha made with coconut milk and mint syrup; I really liked it. The pastry was rather dry but the raspberry filling was vibrant in flavor and not overly sweet. The vibe is more of a place for hotel guests to have a business meeting or to grab something prior to dashing off to a corporate event rather than just a place to hang out. Thankfully, there is plenty of indoor & outdoor seating to choose from, but depending on the time that you dine, I can see how it can get quite crowded. Service is quick & efficient and the staff was friendly ~ providing food & drink recs, since everything looked good and it's hard to decide. The menu is American comfort food w/ a modern twist. The vibe is casual and I love the aesthetically pleasing decor (esp. the cute pinkish suede couches/bench tables inside) ~ it's quite contemporary & calming. The food? Super yums! Everything was very fresh and tasty. It actually felt worth the type (which is rare lol). The portions were solid, and the presentation was definitely IG-worthy..go check out my pics & see for yourself. I've personally been here a couple of times ~ either with friends, w/ the hubs, and/or with my fam, but I always gravitate to ordering the same dish..the SoCal loko moko ($19). Everything..from the island style garlic rice, roasted mushroom onion, brown gravy, angus loco beef patty, Kona mac, and sunny side up golden yolk eggs is just perfection. I've honestly never had a loko moko before (even tho I've been to Hawaii many of times), but I'm sooo glad that THIS was my first, cuz now the bar is set and I have high standards to compare to, moving forward. I just love everything about it..so so YUMS! OMG..get it w/ the blueberry crumble latte and you will die with smile. I swear that coffee is sooo addicting. Who knew blueberry crumble would pair well with coffee, but it does and I'm hooked. 10/10 would come back for another brunch + coffee moment. RxFoodie recommend!!!

Stumbled upon BLUEBERRY SOCIAL while looking for restaurants to try in the area. Loved the whole…read morevibe so we came to check it out one Saturday around noon. There was a line out the door, which we expected because of the time of day and from posts we've seen, but the line moves quickly since you order at the counter and then find a table. There are plenty of tables inside and outside, but I'm assuming they're usually all taken inside. Luckily, we were able to grab a table inside. The design and decor is so cute and chic! The booths have pink suede couches and so comfy and roomy! So Cal Loko Moko -- it was just okay for me, I think my tastebuds were expecting an original loco moco flavor, but the garlic fried rice was throwing it off. Still good nonetheless. Hawaiian island pancake -- liked this, sweet enough for me without the syrup. B.B tots -- very crispy which I liked, but other than that, they're just tots. They have a huge breakfast/brunch menu and they have separate lunch/dinner menu as well! They also had a lot of interesting drinks, but we didn't order any this time. It's definitely worth checking out.
