Wasn't the worst, wasn't the best. I had the curry chicken salad sandwich which had good flavor but I feel that there was such a little amount of chicken salad. There was a lot of bread left over with no chicken salad to fill it. The sweet potato fries were good. I also ordered a small side of fruit which came with the appearance that it was not fresh. Much of the fruit had that clear, slimy consistency and was not appetizing.

We walked to Evelyn's before the navy football game and it was our first time here- they said we could seat ourselves when we went up to the counter. Took a while for us to get menus and we then waited again and again for someone to take our order, so we went up to the counter and asked to order. We got the "feed the navy" omelette and chipotle chicken sandwich. The omelette was a bit more enjoyable but the sweet potato fries that came with the chipotle chicken sandwich were yummy. Chipotle chicken sandwich was just alright. The fruit cup is an additional dollar if you choose that as your side. Overall, service was below average- food was average.

Cute and tasty breakfast spot! The crustless quiche of the day was a crab quiche, which was very tasty and filling. Also ordered a vanilla latte which was pretty good and very sweet. They have a good amount of seating inside and some cute outdoor seating on the porch as well.

me and my aunt had went there this morning before her wedding dress fitting. When we walked in the vibe was so calm and our waiter was so sweet! she was very caring constantly checking up on us to see if we were okay and needed anything. By the time we got there we thought we were gonna be late for her appointment but the food came out quite fast, about a 10 minute wait! This is the most nicest and the friendliest breakfast we've ate at! The food is AMAZING too and not even costly either. 10/10 would recommend everyone to eat here!!

Came here while waiting for the Blue Angels and had great service, quick food, and a great atmosphere! I imagine parking can be an issue but it was a rainy day so we found street parking right out front. This place is huge! We came during the middle of the week so it wasn't an issue for us but would definitely recommend!

My husband and I tried this restaurant for breakfast this morning. Based on the reviews, I have seen that often times there is a weight to be seated, so we made sure to be there when they opened at 8 AM. We were sat promptly and we're looking at the menu when people started pouring in. So, reviews were correct. I would definitely get there early or plan to wait. The restaurant is very cute. It looks like a house and is decorated with different kind of art. Our waitress was very friendly and personable. She brought us our coffee promptly and was back right when we were ready to order. My husband ordered the feed the navy omelette. It's full of meat, like steak, Italian sausage, and bacon. He said it was very good and flavorful. I kept it simple and ordered pancakes with chocolate chips. The pancakes are huge and they were not stingy with the chocolate chips.LOL Overall, we were pleased with our experience. If you're looking for a quaint restaurant, with friendly staff and a unique menu, you should definitely give them a try!

Chicken and cheddar panini and fries - can't miss

Evelyn's never disappoints - great food - professional service - reasonable pricing - great for breakfast and lunch - a West Annapolis treat!

Skip the corned beef hash. Tough. Very fatty. Small portion. Not much going on here worth ordering it again.

I'm glad this place is here, but I don't really like it. Service is friendly but inattentively slow. Breakfast platters are all underwhelming. The sandwiches and salads seem good, so I'd go there for your options. Fries are your fairest portion of sides. I keep trying this place because everyone praises it but I really don't get it. It is clean, it's friendly, it's not a franchise and it seems to create jobs for a lot of young adults in the area... kind of like, the neighborhood kid's first waiting job kind of place. So that's nice. The coffee is good but you have to throw out a lasso to get anyone to notice it needs refilled. Last time we were there we ordered 3 meals and 2 of them were wrong. It was just poor order entry by the waitress. I like going out for breakfast. It is one of the easiest meals to make at home, but it's a treat and you want to be served something at least as good as you could make it and hopefully better. The egg platters are so minimal and boring. The potatoes are a small portion of, I think, fried potato cubes mixed with onions and peppers. Meat portion is small also. I got the hash one morning and the corned beef was so tough, overcooked and fatty it was indelible. The person who cooked it clearly had no pride in what they were serving. That said, I have seen food go past that looks better than what I order. There is a fried goat cheese salad that looks nice. Some of the sandwiches are fair portions and if you get fries it's a good sized meal. The cuban, some sort of grilled chicken sandwich and the burrito all look good. After 4 visits, though, I think I'll take a break from Evelyn's for a while. There are a lot of breakfast/lunch places I like better; Chick & Ruth, Iron Rooster, Blue Rooster, Naval Bagel, and even the Sunday brunch at Cantler's is a nice portion and service. (That's a winter '24 special. Call to see if that continues)

Smoked salmon plate

This is a quaint and unassuming little breakfast restaurant in Annapolis. I tried to park on the street but there was nothing available so I parked across the street. Upon walking in it seems homely and there is a chill vibe. They told me to sit wherever I wanted. I was brought a menu and decided on smoked salmon. Its presentation was more like a deconstructed sandwich. I didn't really enjoy the food but that's my fault for ordering the wrong item. Next time I will grab something else. It seemed like everyone else was enjoying their food.

A great Father's Day spot for brunch!…read more Ordered the strawberry avocado toast, which was unexpectedly delicious and refreshing! My husband had the smoked salmon avocado toast and it was so filling he couldn't finish it! We got the kid's meal for our child, which I'm assuming he enjoyed very much as well? He was speechless for sure the fresh-made poptart was pretty good! Many thanks to Huey for taking care of us! Our seating was upstairs with other families also there for Father's Day, but seating was much quicker than I thought :) It was a little pricey for two adults and a toddler, but it was worth the visit go check it out!

It's solid food with a good variety for everyone for brunch. As expected for a large patio, service wasn't necessarily as plentiful as it may have been inside so we had to wait quite some time for extra requests, like syrup which was never brought out for pancakes or jam for toast. The food is pretty good, solid. You'll be happy with it but it didn't blow my mind. I did find it odd that my husband's French toast order was served regularly with home fries and not something like a meat, egg or fruit option, so that was very carb heavy and protein lacking. Otherwise great location, decent price and portion.

I arrived around 1pm on a rainy August day, and on-street parking was readily available nearby. The atmosphere was maritime cafe. You order at a window near the front door and then pick a table or, if available, padded chair. With a beverage, it'd be possible to get a couple of hours of work done. I ordered the vegan crabcake. It came with a small, fresh side salad with homemade dressing. The sandwish was filling and tasty. The crabmeat substitute was made of jackfruit and included the appropriate spices and toppings. I'd definitely hang there next time I'm in Annapolis. I would plan to arrive in the morning to sample the intriguing breakfast items.

Their breakfast sandwiches are also delicious and made with really good-quality ingredients. We tried the egg, bacon, and avocado sandwich, and it was very tasty. They also have vegan and gluten-free, allergy-conscious cookies, which is a great option for those with dietary restrictions. In many of the sandwiches, you can substitute the regular cheese with vegan cheese, making it easy to customize your meal. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor area right by the water. The outdoor seating area is well maintained and clean, and the bathroom was also very clean. Overall, the food is tasty, there are plenty of options for different dietary needs, and the waterfront seating is a nice bonus. Highly recommend checking this place out!

We were immediately greeted and taken care of, which was a great start! The crispy kale was HANDS DOWN one of the best kale dishes I've ever had!!! It was so good that I'd honestly come back just for that alone. I also ordered the crab bucatini, which was delicious! The pasta was perfectly al dente, and I loved all the different textures and flavors in the dish. I'll admit, looking at the menu, I initially thought this might be one of those overly hippie places that tries a little too hard, with a limited selection that doesn't necessarily look all that appetizing on paper. But wow, was I wrong! Don't let the menu fool you. This place is absolutely worth trying, and the crispy kale alone is reason enough to stop by! They also make their own soda! My one gripe is the "labor of love" tax. I'm not the biggest fan of these extra fees, especially when you're already paying for your meal and tipping. That said, the food was genuinely delicious, and I'd still recommend giving this place a try! Plenty of seating inside, outside, and at the bar!

The Heirloom Tomatoes were really good. The griddled cornbread served with them was moist, though I would have liked it a little sweeter. The Crab Bucatini was probably the standout--absolutely delicious, with the pasta cooked well. The Ribeye was also good and cooked exactly as requested, although I wasn't a big fan of the accompanying sauce. We finished with the Coconut Panna Cotta. We also tried the Calm for a Cure charity cocktails. They were good, but a little on the sweet side for my taste. The service couldn't have been better. Our server checked on us without hovering, kept our water glasses filled, and brought the food out quickly. She really helped make the evening enjoyable. The restaurant was attractive and clean, including the bathroom. It was relatively quiet, with just a little noise from the bar, and comfortable for conversation. Dinner was a little pricey, but I felt it was worth it. One thing to be aware of: our bill included a 4% "Labor of Love" service charge for employee benefits, separate from gratuity. Overall, a very good choice for date night in Annapolis.

They have additional seating upstairs, but I grabbed a seat at the bar and was immediately taken care of. One thing I really appreciated was the Faces of Valor wall and how many of the menu items are named after local figures, politicians, firefighters, and other members of the community. Around 8:30 AM, they invite a volunteer to lead the Pledge of Allegiance, which I thought was a really nice touch and a reflection of their strong sense of patriotism. (9:30 during the weekend) I ordered the Annapolis Cheesesteak Omelette, and it was pretty good! The ambiance is very much an old-school diner, with pictures covering the walls and plenty of local history and personality throughout the space. It has that classic, community-centered feel that makes the experience more than just grabbing breakfast. Service was another highlight. Despite how busy it was, everyone was fast, attentive, and welcoming. You pay at the counter, which keeps things simple and efficient. My only complaint was the bar stool! I'm pretty short, so my feet were dangling the entire time, and there wasn't a footrest like you'd typically find on other bar stools. By the time I finished eating, my feet were pretty much numb LOL. Definitely something to keep in mind if you're vertically challenged like me! Overall, I had a great experience! Between the friendly service, classic diner atmosphere, and unique local touches, this is a great spot to stop by for breakfast in Annapolis.

My wife ordered the crabby omelette and said the flavor was good. We had a common theme though....everything came out lukewarm. Literally, every dish. It definitely affected our experience. Not to mention the restaurant was only about 1/3 full. I had the shrimp and grits ( "get your grits on"). Once again everything was just warm except the shrimp, which were marvelous and hot!! The grits were barely lukewarm and that might be because the fried tomato underneath was barely warm to touch. I think if the temperature of the food was more consistent we would have had a completely different experience.
