Best Thai food I've had, not just in Reading. Everything we have had has been amazing. Our go-tos are Pad Thai and Drunken noddles. But we have also had some of the specials, spring rolls, and desserts. Every dish is fresh, flavorful and not at all heavy. I love that you can choose the protein as well as spice level for each dinner. And the portions are huge! I get at least two full meals out of mine. Tonight we were lucky enough to try the bread pudding (it sells out!) and wow. Amazing. Sweet, coconut and moist bread. Something caramelized maybe? I can't wait for her to offer it again! I have always been afraid of spice in Thai food. Thanks to talking to the chef, I have determined my perfect level and can even start getting it a little spicier! There are 3 Thai restaurants in the suburbs of Reading. This was the last one we tried, and we will not be trying the others again. First up, you can do walk ups and your order is ready just as fast as it would at a fast food joint nowadays. Second, the folks running this place are amazingly friendly, he takes your orders and does the frying, she's over there with the steamers and woks making magic. Third, and most importantly THIS IS THE BEST THAI FOOD IN THE AREA BAR NONE. First time going, we ordered our "go to" at any Thai place, Hot Drunken Noodles (not Thai hot... maybe next time), and Pad See Ew for her. Both were amazing and heads and tails above other offerings we have gotten locally. Everything tasted so fresh, and so delicious... and at $10 per dish, it was super affordable... and you get a LOT of food. The Drunken Noodles last me two meals, and the Pad See Ew lasted her 3. Tonite, she ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, and I ordered the curry special, Red (spicy as hell, I got "hot" ) curry. The pad thai looked and smell incredible. She said it was the best she's ever had. The curry was fantastic; tons of veggies, and the spice was intense. It wasn't one of those crazy "well I just ate a ghost pepper hot" it was the "why am I sweating, why is my face red, why is this so damn good" hot. My only gripe is the limited hours, but it's in a farmer's market so you get what you get for the hours. You will not regret getting take out here, and you will be back for more. Tried the Pad See Ew, Masama Curry, and Thai Coffee at this place over the weekend. Needless to say, this will not be my last time going there. The restaurant is located inside the Shillington Farmers Market and you can browse around the other stores while you wait for your food. The Pad See Ew was flavorful, but too salty for me. I also prefer the dish with thick noodles and how they're usually served. The curry cooled down when we got home and was on the oily side. After it was warmed up, it was much better. Best Thai food in the Reading area. Easy to miss since it is in the Shillington Farmer's Market but well worth a visit. We got the drunken noodles with chicken, pad Thai with shrimp, and pineapple fried rice. Each of the dishes were excellent. Well seasoned, generous portions, and incredibly cheap. Very easy to get 2 meals if not 3 meals out of a single portion. Only downside is the limited menu but much prefer they focus on a few dishes and do them well. Definitely will be a place i get food again from when I am back in the Reading area. read more

In love with this place. They are such wonderful people here. They're beyond friendly and have such great customer service manners. The food that they prepare and deliver are absolutely amazing. Everything is so flavorful and fresh. We love this place and will forever stay patrons to their business. No other Thai place around beats Eve's. Also please know that there are only two of them with a little help from young bussers/dishwashers, so you might have to wait a bit. However please be patient and understanding! This is one of my new favorite stands at the Shillington Farmer's Market. I stopped by on a Friday night and got a few things off the menu (don't be sad that it's on the smaller side, they do everything well so they don't need a lot of options.) I'd say the Thai fried rice was the favorite item of the night. I also got to try the pad see ew and drunken noodles- both good in flavor, but the chicken wasn't as tender as I would have hoped. We also got an order of spring rolls which were just ok, they were plain and needed lots of sauce. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back. read more
