Thanks fellow Yelpers! Ed was a great find for this relative EV-novice. He offered valuable guidance as I selected a charger for a '23 Mustang Mach-E. He carefully assessed our main panel and sub-panels before providing an estimate. He performed the installation flawlessly and efficiently and actually came in below his estimate. Sorry for the late review. I do still know it was an amazing experience to have the installation done with much confidence. Was very knowledgeable and very specific. Cared about being safe and taking care of your home. I am extremely happy with the ceiling fan installation he did and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Would absolutely hire again. Ed from Ev Charging solutions has installed a 3rd Gen Tesla Wall connector in my garage and their service is great. Getting in touch was super easy. Ed is responsive and I was able to get an appointment for a week away. He was on time and very friendly. The service was impeccable. He is definitely the Pro. He took a good look at the panel and suggested me a spot for the installation and took my inputs in positioning the charger. Finished the job in about an hour. He was kind enough to fix a couple of outlets in my home that were pulled out by another electrician. That's some great customer centric stuff. I would highly recommend Ed for EV charger installation. Simple scheduling process, punctual, reasonable price, great installation, works well with customer's choices and ideas. read more

A+ service!!! Ed is a master of his craft. He was very efficient and did an excellent job!

Eduardo is amazing ! Not only was he extremely responsive to the chat and questions pre-installation, he came and installed the device perfectly. He is meticulous and gives attention to detail, is very respectful and courteous and is always boasting a smile. I can see why he has all 5 stars so far. He gave advice on which charger to buy, he then bought it himself from amazon and added this to his bill. He gave a very reasonable rate and finished the work in 1 hr or so. He knows the ins and outs of EV Charging. Highly recommend him. read more

Eduardo did a great job installing my new Tesla HPWC! Even though I was not home for the installation, he was very professional and kept me updated with photos after completion. I can tell he pays attention to detail by how neatly the charge cable wrapped on the charger! Also uses labels for the breaker box. I'm not a big fan of hand written words. Excellent service and I would recommend him to anyone who wants a Tesla HPWC installed. read more

I met Ed when he was doing a install for a friend who had just received a Rivian truck. Their install looked great, so I asked him to pop over when he was finished since we live one street over. We've had EVs for a number of years (Volt, Bolt and now Model 3 and X) and we've been using a Clipper Creek charger for all. The charger was installed inside our garage using a Nema 14-50 plug. I asked Ed for his thoughts on moving the charger to outside the garage to make charging simplified. He asked if we wanted to keep our current charger or upgrade to a Tesla charger. He had some insights as to what would work best for us, but the clincher was that he actually had Tesla chargers in stock and could do an install whenever was convenient for us. He did a full inspection of our current setup, noted what he would have to do for his own installation, and provided a great price for materials and installation. The charger was included without markup which is a great testament to his customer service focus. Within a few days of meeting, he texted to confirm an install date and pricing. On the day of install, he texted when he was 10 minutes out, arrived promptly on time, and got to work. You can tell the professionalism of someone by the work vehicle they show up with. Ed's truck was equipped with everything he needed for the install, and he didn't need to leave the premises to go buy something at Home Depot. That says a lot about the way he conducts his business--efficient, fast and thorough. On site, his install was impeccable. He had to remove the old charger and remove the older conduit pipe to install the new ones. His final work was super clean, looked awesome in the garage and the exterior fitting of the hard wired Tesla charger on our outside wall looks amazing. More importantly, everything works as expected. We're now getting max charge as we can for our 50 amp breaker and our miles per hour charge has increased as a result. I appreciate the fact that Ed also looked into upgrading our breaker to 60 amp (without us asking him to) but was unable to due to previous electrical wiring in the garage. He also brought to our attention some potential issues with our main control panel which he helped troubleshoot for further follow up. This attention to detail is highly impressive. Ed is the real deal folks. He knows A LOT about EVs, he's clearly an EV aficionado, and he's an amazing electrician to boot. If you are in the market for an EV charger installation/panel upgrade, Ed is your man. read more

Highly recommended! Over the last several months I have had Ed work on a number of small to medium jobs for me. He has exceeded my expectations. I can't say enough good things about Ed. He is fast but meticulous. Really knowledgeable. I thought for being so young that he couldn't possibly be that experienced but trust me he is and then some. I love his story too: working with his dad from a young age putting those "10,000 hours" in and he loves to do this type of valuable work. I am someone who likes to ask a lot of questions and compared to other handymen and contractors I have worked with he is very patient. He is such a down to earth, calm and genuine guy. Will almost always give you multiple options including some you can do yourself for a fraction of the cost if the option is there and will give you tips too. He explains things very well and puts you at ease. I also like that he pushed back on a couple of requests he didn't feel comfortable doing himself. I say this because I have had handymen or contractors in the past that have over-committed to doing additional work they weren't experienced enough at and the work ended up looking lousy. Here is some of the work he has done for me: - Installed an outdoor ring camera flood light. The work with the wiring was super clean and professional. I was expecting a good job but this was one of many things he did that fair exceeded my expectations. - Moved a garage outlet and installed new GFCI outlet. The previous one and the position of it was too close to a waterspout, posing a hazard I worried about for quite some time. So happy he did this and again such a professional job! - Installed a retractable extension cord on the garage ceiling which comes in handy for vacuuming the car in front of the garage, working with power tools and for our treadmill that is in the garage. - Removed a bike hoist from my ceiling (it no longer worked for us because it was getting in the way of things). He suggested and installed some side rack mounts instead. These are a way better option for us. Makes the bikes more accessible and more likely to be used. - Installed a motion-sensor side yard light. - He removed a pedestal sink from my downstairs bathroom and did the work necessary to install a combo cabinet sink: cut the baseboards, installed faucet, did the plumbing underneath, secured it, re-positioned the hand towel holder and mirror and installed a toilet roll holder. Excellent job! - Fixed a recessed light on my high ceiling. The housing had previously been pulled out of the ceiling. - Fixing a broken stair nose, replaced multiple doorknobs, installed cabinet rollout racks, fixed plumbing issue with dishwasher. Replaced kitchen faucet. - Installed some fence panels, properly securing them in place including giving me two gate openings. This work was done to prevent our dogs from peeing on and killing plants. - Fixed multiple electrical outlets upstairs that had been non-functional for years. We had previously done all the 101 troubleshooting and attempts at fixing: GFCI switch reset, breaker reset but to no avail. At first, he tried one thing then another and then another until he finally figured it out. He did the job of a professional electrician and he traced the issue down to an outlet downstairs. I never would have guessed that to be the source of the problem. Amazing job! Ed is someone I can trust and I am happy to have met him and to have had him do all this work. I am extremely satisfied. I will continue using his services any time I have these jobs I can't do myself: whether it be for lack of time, skill or both :-). read more

Based on the photos I saw on yelp, I decided to go with Eduardo. His work looked clean and professional. He was gracious enough to move his schedule around to fit me in on my day off. When he showed up, I was impressed with his demeanor and appearance, along with his clean and organized work van. Those little things project professionalism and pride in workmanship. After I took up some of his time chatting cars and EVs, he got to work. He finished quickly and explained his completed work and how to reset the wall charger if I ever have to. I 100% recommend Eduardo for your EV charger install. read more

It is a late review but Ed came to San Francisco in late Feb to installed a indoor Nema 14-50 plug. Ed was great from the beginning before I had my Tesla. During the whole 3 months waiting for my Tesla, He answered all my questions, very knowledgeable and was very professional throughout the 3 months i reach out to him. Show up on time and clean up after himself. Definitely and highly recommend him for all EV charging installation. Price was reasonable and super nice guy in person. read more

I found Ed and his service on Instagram. He was responsive when I inquired about an install for my application and shared plenty of information helping me decide which set up I wanted - 14-50 outdoor outlet for my Tesla Model X/Y. Ed was on time, surveyed the install location and after some briefing with my wife and I he started the install. In less than 2 hours he was ready to test our Universal Mobile Connector! Install location is perfect for daily charging - no more mail slot wire feeding and 2-5 miles per hour charge rate! Very professional. Great craftsmanship. Seamless process and great service! Super knowledgeable about EV's. Multiple option provided for the best solution. Highly recommend it.

Ed is phenomenal! I installed a Lucid charger and he was great and detailed through the quoting process. Had to move a few things on the panel to make room for a DC charger and he was very thorough, creative, and safe. Ended up with a faulty charger and needed to wait for a replacement from Lucid. Ed didn't even take payment until things were completely done. He followed up regularly (not pushy) to make sure customer service was giving me the right info along with timing for the unit. Once I had the replacement, he came out within a couple of days and replaced the faulty unit. Ed is a true professional with great engagement, knowledge, and customer service attitude. I will be recommending him to all my friends looking to do a EV setup. read more

Ed came out to my home to give me some ideas of how we could do the lighting in my outdoor living space and shortly after he got started on everything. I had the best possible experience with EV Charging solutions. Ed's communication was very clear. He asked me what setup I had currently and gave me the quote. It seemed reasonable so I went ahead. We agreed on a time and because I was working from home I only had small window to meet. Ed was on time and that helped a lot. He finished well ahead of time and was able to clarify another breaker switch issue that I had in the panel for me. This was all great and I would give them a 5 star review just for the quality of work but he went above and beyond to answer my questions even after hours. First time owning a hybrid and my car didn't seem to charge the way it supposed to. Ed was patient and helped me troubleshoot the issue over texts and even called me after hours. Turned out to a reporting issue of my car. Overall a fantastic experience ! read more

My guy Eduardo over here is an excellent EV installation technician. First lets start with the pricing, the guy comes in at an incredibly fair rate, he doesn't over charge on the hardware he used, it was at market value, that's a +1 to Yelp stars. Next he gave me the run down on how to optimally operate the charging system so that the Tesla didn't charge while simultaneously drain our bank accounts, another star for this one. It wasn't even part of his job, but he took the time to explain how my existing Solar Panels worked, because we recently moved into the house, gave me a serious educational run down which I am appreciative, another star for this guy. Overall he earned every dollar and it was an absolute pleasure working with him! If you have EV needs, this is your guy, no joke! read more

Eduardo did an excellent job installing the TWC. Was extremely informative and would highly recommend his work!

Absolutely perfect. I'm a first time EV owner, and Eduardo exceeded my expectations in every way. Highly knowledgeable and helped me understand every aspect of getting a home charger at home. His craftsmanship is noteworthy, with one of the cleanest installations by any electrician I've ever seen. Most importantly, he adapted well: my installation was a little more complex and other quotes on Yelp declined to engage or told me my installation couldn't be done. Eduardo had a few different ways to approach the installation, and always had a good plan that kept me comfortable this was going to go well. I'm thrilled to have my EV charger, and I can't recommend Eduardo enough. read more

After doing plenty of research on who can install my Tesla wall charger, I decided on EV Charging Solutions. Ed is extremely professional and walks you through the installation process. There were electricians who provided quotes of $300, up to $1,200. Ed's quote landed right in the middle. The reason why I chose Ed over the cheaper $300 quotes was because he was very professional from my first conversation with him. I was confident that he would be the right person for the job. He was extremely detailed on how he would do the install over the phone as well as in person. After the installation, I felt extremely satisfied with the service. Thanks again Ed for your help and excellent quality of work! Bonus: I had a breaker that kept blowing out and he fixed that with no charge! In fact, I plan to refer EV Charging Solutions to anyone who needs a wall charger installed. read more

Eduardo is the best. I had an issue with sunpower being unresponsive to requests for Tesla wall charger compatibility with their solar panels. Eduardo came and took care of the issue within an hour. I contacted several EV charging installers and was disappointed in their poor customer service and overpriced quotes. We contacted Eduardo and asked him so many questions and he was great at answering without hesitation and extremely patient. He was very detailed on the process of the installation over the phone. He was very accomodating to work around our busy schedules for the installation. He is very professional, knowledgable, and detailed in his work. He arrived within the time frame of the appt. and even gave us a courtesy call when he was on his way. After the installation, he tested everything to make sure the equipment wors working properly. He also installed a new breaker for us as well. We are extremely happy with his work and glad that we reached out to Eduardo to install the charger for us. I chose this company after contacting 10 plus companies. I'm so glad I went with this company! This man is what all companies should model after. He was professional, knowledgeable, and came on time. He made sure all my answers were answered and made the process a lot easier. He came with all the equipment he needed for the job and did not have to run to the store which takes more time. He explained everything along the way as he was going. He tighten and made sure everything was safe. This is very important as your dealing with a lot of power coming from your breaker. He also did load calculating to make sure the panel was safe for installation. When the was done he cleaned up all the debris left behind. He even takes you step by step to connect your charger to Wi-fi. Overall it was a clean, fast, professional install. The best part was he didn't rob me like other companies wanted to. He could have charged me more and I would have been happy! This five-star deserves more if I could. read more

Out of all of the places I reached out to via Yelp's project feature, Ed was the quickest to reply and had the most reasonable rate. After sending a few pictures of the panel and subpanel, I had my appointment scheduled for the next week. I had initially scheduled him for a Friday morning to get my Tesla charger on my house which was made in the 80s and has a bit of an older panel. After Ed arrived, he took a look and gave a few options based on the location of the installation I wanted, one of which was using the existing sub panel and running conduit all the way to the garage door or add an additional sub-panel from the main panel and connecting the Tesla charger to that new subpanel. Ed asked what I wanted to do, go with the original plan of running the conduit across the entire garage or go with the new sub-panel which would present the cleanest installation & would save me $700-800 on the install. The only downside is he would have to re-schedule the appointment. With no pressure on the route I wanted to go with of keeping the current appointment and plan or rescheduling for the new suggestion, I decided to go with the new option. Ed was great in being able to move things around and accommodate me 3 days later and completed the install in 2 hours. Clean installation and even cleaned up the garage from the drilling, leaving the space looking cleaner than it was when he arrived. Highly recommend EV Charging solutions and will hire them again should I need any additional work done. Thanks Ed! read more
