The Kind of Electrician You Hope to Find   You have found an exceptional electrical company. SFE Electric Inc. handled our project beautifully, wiring and installing a four-outlet receptacle, converting a three-outlet receptacle with a switch to control the garage lights, and installing a porch light with outstanding professionalism. What truly stood out was the remarkable care they brought to every detail, especially in determining the best placement for the lights on both sides of the garages, knowing there was no going back once the work began.   Pedro approached the installation with the same thoughtfulness and precision I would have used myself--and that says a great deal. He also went above and beyond by explaining relevant building codes, helping me tailor the setup to my property, and showing me, how smart bulbs could give me phone control even though my receptacle was not smart. I am extremely particular about who I trust to work on my home, and SFE Electric Inc. exceeded all of my expectations. In short, they are the best you will find. read more

Absolutely Outstanding Work - SFE Electric (Pedro) is the Real Deal! I recently hired SFE Electric and specifically worked with Pedro for a full lighting and ventilation upgrade in my home, and I couldn't be more impressed. Pedro and his team completely transformed my outdated setup: - Replaced all my old fluorescent lights with beautiful new fixtures - Installed brand-new, whisper-quiet bathroom fans that are actually silent - Added a sleek new stainless steel range hood The quality of the work is excellent -- everything looks clean, professional, and perfectly finished. You can tell they take real pride in what they do. What really stood out was how knowledgeable, super friendly, and professional Pedro was from start to finish. He was incredibly considerate of my home, taking every precaution to keep things tidy and protect my floors and furniture. Communication was clear and prompt, and he explained everything in a way that made me feel confident and informed. I'm already looking for my next project just so I can call them again! Pedro and his team did amazing job on our electric panel upgrade. He was honest, fast and very communicative. He walked us through the process and did an excellent job. I highly recommend SFE Electric for all your electrical projects. I give him 5 stars out of 5!!! read more

Pedro was great to work with. Communication was quick and clear from the start. His labor pricing was about average compared to other electricians I reached out to, but where he really stood out was the permit cost. One electrician wanted the same price for permitting but expected me to handle part of the process. No thanks. Another quoted me nearly 3x what Pedro charged just for the permit. Do your due diligence people; it pays off. Pedro started the job in the AM and the inspection wrapped up all before 2pm. Everything went smoothly. Any future electrical work I need, I'm calling Pedro. read more

These guys know what they're doing. I'd highly recommend their services. We got Tesla wall charger installed inside our garage and end to end process was quick and seamless. read more

Not happy at all, sloppy job, supervisor is hardly no site, he will leave his people who doesn't speak English and go to another job. Poor communication, or I can't even communicate with the workers that he left. He did this job last year, this year I have to hire another electrician to correct his mistake that he buried. most of his review 5* job are from simple work not an electrical meter upgrade, read carefully. read more

Excellent honest company. Came out very next day w great pricing! Did an amazing job putting in an outdoor outlet. Highly recommended!

We've hired Pedro and his crew for multiple jobs over the years from a whole-house rewire to smaller projects like running a new circuit for an EV charger. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and quality of work are all outstanding. I can confidently recommend SFE Electric for anyone looking for help with a home electrical project. read more

I picked SFE because the price was good and the reviews are stellar. I have to say, I completely understand now why the reviews were so great. Pedro is a really great guy, explains things well, checks-in, and is careful about doing the work well and cleaning up after. I've had 4 electricians at my house in the past 3 years and Pedro is the best. I think I finally have my go to electrician for all future jobs on my old house. read more

Pedro installed a Tesla EV charger and a DCC unit in my carport at a fair price. The service and the solution was exactly what I wanted! Although the undertaking was more complex and it took longer than I would have liked, I am very pleased with the outcome. I live in an older condo and had to navigate the HOA approvals and existing electrical systems. Pedro came with a solution and excellent service. Pedro from SFE Electric was responsive to my inquiry about switching out my old EV Juice box charger to my new hardwired Tesla EV Charger. He had an opening the next day and showed up on time, very professional and boy oh boy did he know his stuff ! I wouldn't look anywhere else but his company and specifically will specifically ask for Pedro! Nothing but 5 star service! Very efficient with his time and didn't leave until he tested the charger! Btw, the extra holes in my drywall were from the 1st install of my Juicebox which was done by a novice friend( wouldn't advise lol) .. Thanks again Pedro and SFE for an excellent experience! Will def be my go to electrician in any and all future jobs at my home. read more

Since I now own an EV, I needed to have a wall connector installed at my home. I needed to find a legit, insured certified and licensed electrician to install my wall connector. SFE Electric is owned by Pedro, and is a family local business who has reasonable prices, stellar professionalism and expedient installation. Pedro is certified by Tesla, so he knows what he's doing and will install your wall connector legitly, meaning he will ensure there is a permit for this. Another good thing witb Pedro is that he will request the permit and coordinate the inspecation after installation. That was one of the main reasons I hired Pedro. The wall connector took a few hours to install but they did it professionally. The wires that connected the wall connector to the panel were hidden with a solid, metal pipe so it doesn't look messy. Prices were very reasonable which included installation as well as Pedro coordinating the permits and inspection. I am very happy to finally find an electrician I can rely on. read more

Pedro, Thank you for your prompt, quality service. On-time, within budget, quality work with a smile. I checked out all the reviews on several different electricians and was impressed by SFE's ratings and comments. I hired them to replace old kitchen balance lights, old over the sink light and a dining area light and replace it all with recessed lighting. I can say all the 5 star ratings were spot on and I added mine. Great work, communication, timeliness and a fair price. Pedro was efficient and responsive and very easy to work with and talk to. I will use them again! I'm so pleased with the lighting and their service. I can highly recommend SFE to anyone. read more

I needed a Level 2 charger installed (got myself a Mini Cooper SE). I live in a townhouse community lol (lots of rules, strict HOA) also on the older side. Pedro delivered. He passed their requirements. He was very helpful and honest in his assessments. He even figured out a safe way to install the charger without getting the house rewired for a higher amperage panel (installing a DCC-12 unit). Or something to that effect (I forgot the electrical jargon he used lol). He took care of the paperwork, city inspection etcetera. You can tell that his company is very good because he seem to be in high demand. He is busy but he responds quickly via email and text (I don't really like phone calls who even does that anymore lol). Very friendly guy. Pedro is the owner but his associates are good too. Sorry I forgot the name of his associate. Found SFE Electric here in Yelp. Thanks Pedro. Great job! read more

SFE Electric - JuiceBox level 2 charger with a DCC-12 unit - Electricians Near Me

Fast reliable service would recommend them for anyone needing a EV charger install in there home.

We needed two sub panels replaced in our home due to a known defect with the brand. Because we knew this would be a costly replacement, we called several electricians to look at the job. Pedro was by far the most knowledgeable and most pleasant to work with. He instantly recognized the issue with our old panels, he knew the electrical code better than others we spoke to (one electrician wanted to put our panel in the bathroom, which Pedro immediately knew would not pass inspection), and his pricing was reasonable - not the most expensive but also not suspiciously cheap. The work itself was done quickly and cleanly. The crew patched up everything nicely - they even cleaned up holes previously left by less reputable electricians who have worked on our home. Pedro himself took the time to accurately label each circuit, which was a huge feat given the amount of stairs in our home. All in all, we were very pleased with SFE and would recommend them to anyone. read more

Pedro did a fair amount of work on our house and was great through every part of the process. His prices are competitive, he knows the codes well, he has a relationship with PGE so has a good concept of what and how to get things done, does very clean work and does not mess around on pricing or costs... honest, hard working, and knows his electricity well! I wish some of our other subcontractors were this good. We did a lot of work... Pedro moved a 100AMP Panel & all wiring from inside a closet to our garage, updated our box and breakers, replaced old & dangerous aluminum 110V wiring with copper (lot of attic and crawlspace work). Ran some new higher amp lines, moved exterior lighting boxes, installed a bunch of fixtures and motion sensors... also installed a bunch of LeGrande Adorne outlets/switches/faceplates which are not installed like regular devices. Probably some other things! I initially contacted two other companies that had a large number of 5 star reviews. The first was crazy expensive, the second was slow to communicate with. At the time I contacted Pedro (maybe March or April of this year), he had a bunch less reviews than now (October). I was hesitant because it was much less than the previous companies, but Pedro's reviews were consistent in how reliable and good he was. I contacted him and heard back quickly and got on his schedule quickly. He has a number more reviews now! read more

Pedro at SFE Electric is my new electrician! He and his team recently removed an outdated and potentially dangerous Zinsco 100amp main panel and upgraded me to a 200amp Square D main panel and service. His team was professional, always on time and did quality work. My wife and I feel much safer with our electrical system now. Pedro is very knowledgeable and was able to tell me other updates I thought I needed were no needed for a while so appreciated he gave expert advice without trying to upsell. Looking forward to working with Pedro and SFE Electric in the future! read more

Initial thoughts: Got a quote from Pedro a few months ago and we were finally able to get started on the project due to delays on my part not his. He was very patient and explained things thoroughly. Although the quote was priced higher later due to inflation it was not terrible like others. He's very reasonably priced. When he comes over, he typically wears a mask and has shoe covers on him. He's been nice to our barking dog. I love how he gives us options and he's by the books to ensure you pass inspection. So far we're part way through with the electrical project and he has been very transparent. You can see the passion in his work. He's also been very receptive of feedback. I highly recommend this business. I can't wait to paint our house after this is complete. Will update with pics after it's done. read more

The owner of SFE Electric, Pedro is extremely knowledgeable. I needed to rewire my house because I had live k&t and wanted new insulation in my attic. Pedro gave me an estimate which I felt was a good value. The work took a few weeks. Now I have new wiring that is safe and more outlets. I also decided to upgrade my electric panel from 100 to 200 which will add value to my home. Extremely happy with my choice to have SFE Electric complete my project. Highly recommend him. read more

Pedro & his team replaced our main electrical panel, installed our Tesla wall charger, and added an outdoor outlet in our backyard. We are extremely satisfied with all of this work. The work was done quickly, affordably, with a high attention to detail, and with an emphasis on doing things the 'right' way and not cutting any corners or compromising safety. We appreciated how Pedro carefully explained each step in the process (particularly the many steps required to upgrade the main panel), including both the technical/electrical context as well as the various permits & approvals needed from the city and PG&E. We will definitely be returning to SFE Electric for future electrical projects. read more

I highly recommend SFE Electric. I will definitely use them again. On time, professional, super easy process for my wall station to be installed for my EV. Pedro installed a EV Charger at our house and the whole process was excellent! Very fair pricing and great communication!

Pedro installed 2 pendants above my island for me today in about 3 hours. I've been putting this project off for nearly a year because every electrician I spoke with made it seem like a huge undertaking to get power up to the ceiling that would require "opening up the entire ceiling" and "multiple days" of work. I reached out on a Monday and he got me a quote the same day based off a photo. He was responsive via text and told me he could come on Friday between 10:30 and 11am. Pedro and his crew arrived on time and got to work. They covered my entire kitchen in plastic sheeting and drop cloths to keep everything clean. They hit a few issues with power to the switch but were well equipped to handle it without delay. To say we're impressed is an understatement. Thank you! read more

Pedro was helpful, professional and friendly throughout the entire process. I started with a request for information on Yelp for an EV Charger installation and we completed the rest of the communication via text and email. Pedro was fair and transparent about the cost involved, what factors to consider when making decisions and what the process would be. During the day of the install, Pedro and his team (Rene and Edgar) were quick and efficient as they installed a NEMA 14-50 JuiceBox charger. We also had them install another plug in our garage.
