Called Comletric, a Tesla certified electric company, for possible installation of a new Nema 14-50 outlet in our garage. The owner, Matt H. was very accommodating and sent Matt S. right away since I was going out of town. Got the Tesla Y recently and had been charging at superchargers. Also I previously had Tesla Solar panels with a Powerwall battery installed to supplement an older solar panel from another supplier. All the switches and controls and boxes/panels on these systems were in one area on the wall outside the garage. Matt S. looked at several options and figured out the best way to install the outlet without connecting to the Tesla system to avoid any violation to the warranty of the new Tesla solar/battery unit.
