What's in a name? For a business owner that would be very important because your livelihood depends on it. In today's world that is hard to find. We were hopeful to have found someone we can use and have the work done smoothly. Unfortunately, we didn't find it in this company. It started on a bad note. They had agreed to start 12/19/25 just to cancel the day before saying they had a death in the family. We were gracious and agreed to wait til after the holidays and start 1/6/26. That's caused 2 weeks of delay. We had a list of things to be done - a new 50 amp circuit, 3 sconces, ceiling lights, under cabinet lighting and an electronic docking drawer. The work was fine for new circuit, the sconces and the ceiling lights. After that, the work started doing downhill. The under cabinet lighting was done poorly. They used white electrical tape to conceal the wires, which fell off the same day. One of the LED strips was not lit on one side and the another strip didn't even light up. When ask if they were done and if Drew (the owner) saw the installation he said they were done and made excuses said LED strips were finicky. The worse part was the electric docking drawer. The drawer was not closing properly and we decided to buy a special device that has an arm instead of a dangling thick wire at the back. We had asked them to just install a outlet there so we can just plug the device but instead they cut the plug and hardwired the device to the wall. Now we can't remove the drawer because it has an electrical cable hardwiring it to the wall. We spoke to Drew and had asked them why they had done this. After he realized that they could just have installed a outlet and plug the device we bought, he didn't want to cover the $400 cost to have it replaced. He wanted to buy another device from Amazon and return the one they damaged and say it's defective so he doesn't have to pay for it. This is fraud! People who can't be trusted in "small" things, can't be trusted at all. We are not that type of people. This was the last draw for us. We had to cut them loose. Come to think of it, was "a death in the family" real or another excuse? We will never know... read more

My new stackable washer's power cord wasn't long enough to plug into the laundry closet's 220 outlet. An extension cord is not recommend for large appliances. A pedestal would make it difficult to do laundry, plus a pedestal for stackable laundry has the dangers of tipping over. The outlet needed to be lowered by 6" or more. I started by calling companies on Google, Yelp, texting & emailing. I noticed OHMS reviews are excellent. I called & asked for a quote after sending pixs & explaining the issue. OHMS had the lowest quote. In the morning Drew was here & I'm informed my wall is of plywood. I started to get suspicious of the cost after he said his man with the correct tools will drop by in the evening to open the wall & install a 220v outlet 3' lower not 6 inches lower @ an extra $10 fee for parts. I'm so desperate to have my washer & dryer working, I agreed. Even though I'm still suspicious of hidden fees. I even got sarcastic and asked if this was going to cost me another 0 at the end of the estimate. OHMS' tech was here earlier than expected. Installed the new 220v outlet lowered by 3' faster than i expected. Cleaned up & assembled my new washer & dryer to make sure it was working. I'm thrilled. I asked for the invoice. Very satisfied with the work OHMS did for us. I was in the process of self installing a Smart Doorbell camera when I realized that the voltage wasn't enough to power it and needed to upgrade our transformer. I reached out to OHMS and spoke with Drew who responded quickly and was able to come out very quickly. He was very professional, friendly, and timely with his work! It was a small job but the results were exactly as expected. After the new transformer was installed, I finished the installation of the Doorbell camera myself and it works great now that it's getting enough power. Issue: I originally blew a couple of circuit breakers when I was installing a gfci outlet as I had turned off the incorrect breaker to begin my project. I was then unable to initially reset my breakers, so I found Drew via Yelp. The following day, I had an appointment with Drew to perform a safety check of outlet and panel, as I had finally been able to reset the tripped breakers. Drew and an associate came out, right on time, and were able to quickly and efficiently check my outlet and panel. I called OHMS to get help with some fluorescent lights in our garage. The lights had been flickering even after I changed out the light tubes. After doing some research I found out the ballast was the issue. I spoke with Morgan who advised me I was better off installing a new LED light, which I had already been thinking about. He explained the negatives of fluorescent lights and how they are being phased out. Morgan provided the cost over the phone and came out the same day. Before he started, I had some questions and concerns about how it would look like once the old fixture was removed and the new light installed, but he was very patient with me and explained everything properly and made sure I understood exactly what he was doing. He was able to remove the old fixture and install the new one pretty quickly. The LED light looks great and there's much better lighting in my garage now.
