Are you for real, Matt!? Thank you so much! My breaker got really hot and tripped but Matt was able to slow down the charging BUT made it safer to charge my Tesla overnight going forward. Decided to go with Electric Hero's for a small dedicated circuit upgrade to an upstairs office due to constant breaker trips from a portable AC unit that needed its own source. The estimate was extremely reasonable compared to competing offers and both their response and communication were great throughout the entire process. The whole project was done professionally and much quicker than I anticipated and the tech did a great job cleaning up once completed. Kevin and Byron came out to help me. I made a request one day, and they were out here the next business day. I am continuing to look at projects and think of ways to use Electric Heroes because the experience was so good. I needed a new outdoor outlet installed and their combination of pricing and availability was the best for me. When Kevin was here, I asked about a handful of other small electrical jobs and he was able to get me estimates quickly for those items. He knocked out 3 minor projects (external outlet, new dishwasher outlet, bathroom ceiling fan replacement) and 1 larger project (new sub-panel) in 2 days. Everything looks good and is working great. Only caution is - and they mention this, so it's not a surprise - they don't do patching. The holes they needed to cut were in my garage, so it wasn't as urgent to get it fixed, but you'll need to find someone to patch things up, paint, etc if it was in the home. That's an extra cost but even including those extra costs, the price was still competitive. read more

Instead of " you don't have enough amps " at your house he asked what appliances we had in the kitchen, then said he thought there would be a splitter work around for our full electrical box He was also the only one to mention needing and getting a permit for the install He asked my husband to do some measuring so the amount of labor and materials could be estimated. This part could have used more accurate questions ( not just the length of the garage but up the wall, over and down) so make sure the estimate is actually covering the distance needed The install went smoothly and quickly. ( thanks Alex) The job is professionally done for a reasonable price. The inspector said it all looked good. This company handled the permit and inspector appointment to coordinate with their work. Truly the highest recommendation I could possibly give to a business. I am not the most handy person, and while I have been trying to understand electricity better...I clearly failed, and that's when I called Matt at Electric Heroes. I recently bought an RV which I wanted to plug into shore power to run the AC. I used an extension cord that was too thin and ended up blowing my fuse and the prong got stuck in the outlet. Matt is fantastic. A few months ago, the outlet that our dishwasher was plugged into stopped working. This outlet had been problematic since a few years and often used to cause the circuit breaker to trip. This time, the circuit breaker tripped - and would not move back to its original position. It kept tripping back. This happened on a weekend and I reached out to Matt via yelp. He responded even though it was a weekend and said he'd come over on Monday itself. He came over at the promised time, diagnosed the issue - and we set up a time the very next day for him to replace the outlet and the circuit breaker switch. I submitted a project to Yelp, and after getting a few quotes, including an overestimate from an unnamed company that wanted to replace my entire electric panel (and to take it apart during the estimate), I am happy I went with Electric Heroes. Their estimate was very reasonable from the start. Scheduling was very easy to do, and folks at the office communicated well and were very accommodating on scheduling dates. Matt and Kevin came over within the agreed upon time window, and finished the work in that time. They replaced my 20+ year-old bathroom fan, a strip light over the mirror, as well as a broken timer switch. I was expecting the need to do some patchwork for the bathroom fan as the enclosure of the older fan was a lot smaller than the replacement I supplied.
