I'll be breaking down this 5-star review into 3 sections; responsiveness, efficiency, quality of work, and value. This was for installation of an EV charger. For responsiveness, Edward is insanely quick to respond and wants to make your money. He responds quick and wants to hit the ground running. His response time and responses get to the point quickly. For efficiency, he gets in and out very quickly. He checks things very thoroughly and found a problem with my outside circuit breaker. He helped me replace this without any additional charge. If I could give him 6 stars I would. For quality of work, it has been 6 months since his installation and things work great! There are no problems and but because this installation was in my storage unit I'm not particularly picky about how things were done and cannot attest to anything regarding aesthetics. Its metal where metal should be. For value, he was the best price. We did have to increase the price after discovering that the scope of work would be more. But this is how things work. Split Electric does not have a license. In California, you need a license to do electrical work that costs more than $500. He is operating illegally. If you ask for a license, he'll give you someone else's number. Also we had Edward do work for us. Later another electrician said sparks were flying from our main panel because of the shoddy work he did. Do not hire him and make sure you check your contractors licenses carefully! read more

My problem: Over the past few weeks, random lights around the house were flickering, the treadmill would slow on its own, and the space heaters would struggle and regain power.
