That seemed to be fine, so they went in the attic to look around. They found that the junction box in the attic was the problem. They fixed the problem very quickly. Happy with the service. Mike called back quickly and was able to come out same day, whereas other companies were scheduling weeks out just for an estimate. Called around to get some interior lights changed out to LED and some exterior pedestal lights that were not working. Mike was the most responsive and came over quickly to provide a quote. Seemed pretty reasonable and was available within a few days. They did the interior work which seemed pretty simple and looked at the outside lights. Some new wiring was needed but to do it, he said a conduit was needed. I dug the trench for it and he came back and ran new wires and fixed a short. When I got home, one light was still not working. Called and he said it may be the light base. Then said he would be back later in the week. No response after that. Finally I got someone else to fix the light. My issue is the non response and after I paid in full. I get the feeling that this was a side job in between some bigger ones and it got too complicated. read more

Above and beyond. This was the second time I have used Morgan Electric. The first time was a home improvement project rewiring my kitchen. We chose them from a referral and because they have been around this area for many many years. They did a great job with that project. The best part was mentioning a small re-design which was one of the best suggestions of the entire project. My husband and I call it our $30 major efficiency saver, lol. Now fast forward to several months ago. We had just purchased the building where our business is located. The building for the last 20 years had been repaired by the landlord. Two days after closing escrow we had a electrical problem that shut down the entire building! The old landlord gave us a referral for an electrical company who came out and fixed the problem. He was also the electrician who did the building expansion 3 years prior. Two days later the electricity went out again so we called Morgans. Boy are we glad we did. He found two problems that the previous electrician and the building inspector for the real estate sale did not find. Later we contacted the building inspector and he said that we were very lucky. Morgans had potentially stopped our building from catching on fire. Morgans did an inspection of the entire building and did not find any more problems. They did not charge us for the additional inspection when they spent several extra hours. Very honest and quality work. We will be using them again. read more

I called about an electrical problem I was having at a rental property I own in Danville. I called Morgan because they have been in Danville for 40 to 50 years and had a great reputation. I got a call from the owner Mike and said he couldn't send someone that afternoon but would send someone the next day between 2 and 4 so I told my tenant. She waited until 5:30 and no one showed. I called them 8 times and NO ONE has returned my call. All I get is their answering service. I even left 3 messages on the owner, Mike's cell phone, but he will not return a call. They have no other phone number other than the answering service and the service just says they will send a message. I can understand if they got busy but they should at least return my call or tell me they do not want my business. I waited the weekend and thought I would get a call Monday AM but no, so I called the service and left another message. STILL NO CALL BACK!! I am going to find another electrical contractor. read more
