Alex at Ion Electrical Services did an excellent job installing a dedicated 240V outlet for an induction stove and outlets in my bathrooms for a bidet. He also installed a new bathroom fan in one of my bathrooms and installed the proper ducting to vent it. Our old panel was a Federal Pacific panel (known for causing house fires, per our home inspector). Alex worked closely with our county inspectors as well as PG&E to bring our home up to code. Paul and Mario did an excellent job installing recessed can lighting in our townhome. Was very pleased with how Paul promptly communicated by phone and text to schedule us in when we contracted him to do the installation. Paul gave us his excellent professional advice on how many lights we needed along with the recommended light sizes for each room. He also advised on proper placement of lights to avoid shadowing. Since I'm no lighting expert, his advice was a "spot on" and the finished installation looks great! We are no longer in the dark! Just FYI, with ceiling areas that don't have attic access, Paul will have to cut access holes to run/pull romex wire between the beams/rafters. This is common practice. This makes up for a lot of holes in your ceiling that will need to be patched and painted by a drywall pro. Paul informed me that he sub contracts another person to patch and paint. Overall we are very pleased with Paul's work and would definitely use him without any hesitation for any of our electrical needs. I work in residential home building and know trade costs. My wife and I needed to install several ceiling fans, a few lights, an outlet, and an EV charger. I called Parker & Sons first and after a brief look they gave us a ridiculously high quote ($700+ per ceiling fan ridiculous). This insinuated that our job wasn't worth their time.
