I recently had the pleasure of hiring this company to hang some Christmas lights. Not only were they (Tyler & Ryan) incredibly patient in answering the million questions that I had, but their pricing is fair and reasonable. Once all the details had been hashed out, they were extremely prompt in coming by to install the lights. They worked quickly and efficiently and left behind a fantastic display of work that brings absolute joy! I love Christmas lights, like any other human with eyeballs who needs happiness in the dark days of winter. I hate putting up Christmas lights, as does anyone who is ever hung off of a too short ladder, clinging to the gutter... Enter Ryan and Tyler. They dealt with our non-standard gutters like total pros, provided, installed and later took down the lights and packed for storage - all in a super timely way working with our schedule parameters. We had the best experience using Light it up for our outdoor Christmas lights this year. Ryan was extremely responsive and the work is top notch. We were not home when the lights were installed and the breaker to the outlet was tripped, so they weren't able to test the lights. When we came home and fixed the outlet, we notice one strand of lights were not working. We contacted Ryan and he sent someone immediately (in the rain) to fix the problem for us. Our house looks beautiful and we are extremely satisfied with this company. We will definitely use them again next year. read more

HIRE THEM--YOU WON'T REGRET IT. LightItUp did the lights for my wedding and it was beyond amazing. Our goal was for a romantic candle lit dinner and dance in the Olive Orchard, and Ryan from LightItUp brought that romanticism to light that night. Beyond how it looked, I have never seen a vendor work as hard as Ryan and his team did. Ryan came to the walk thru at the venue early on to ensure he could make our vision work at our venue. The day before the wedding Ryan set up the lights in 98+ heat, and promptly came back the morning of our wedding to ensure everything looked perfect--our venue was about 30 miles away from his work base. So many people complimented the lights, and I couldn't be more grateful for Ryan. He truly made a vision of mine come true and so many memories were made under the lights. read more

I hired Ryan and his team to do some backyard lighting for my parent's house in Clayton. They showed up on time and spent nearly the whole day there (this was a very involved job) and completed everything they promised. I felt the prices were fair considering all the lighting was provided specific to our requirements and it took three workers to get the job done within one day. My parents then, on their own, decided to hire Ryan again for their Christmas lights on their two story house and relayed to me that everything was done within less than a couple hours and they were really happy with the quality and Ryan's professionalism. We hired Ryan to to the string lights for our wedding and it was perfect! I am so happy with how everything turned out. Ryan had some really good ideas about how to arrange the lights for the best look and tips about the level of brightness we would get with different setups. We ended up doing mini lights across ceiling beams, the little web of lights in an alcove where the cake table was, and a curtain of string lights behind the sweetheart table. We got so many compliments about the lights and how they really made the space look both intimate and festive (we got married just before Christmas). He was wonderful to work with leading up to the wedding too. I actually gave him the wrong date (typo) and he was just super gracious and kind about it. Also, I was planning the wedding from across the country so he made things as easy as possible for me in the way of diagrams and photos. read more

Light It Up has been the most amazing company I have found. Completely professional and great on my budget! Ryan has done the lights on my house & 30' tree in our front yard for three years now. Gets them up quickly & as promised & takes them down as promised. Our neighbors love our tree so much because it is professionally done that they think we should keep it up all year! Ryan and Light it Up also made my daughters wedding so very special by lighting an olive orchard where we had dinner and the dance floor under an oak tree- all by generators!!!
