I needed my range hood to be replaced and Jake came in to assess the scope of the work and advise me on what I should do. Scope and quote was clearly laid out and he got to work promptly at the proposed time. We ran into some issues we didn't expect during the initial scoping but he was quick to improvise and was resourceful. In the end he got the new range hood installed and improved old wiring and ducting at a fair price. Jake is very easy to communicate with, professional, and punctual with his responses. read more

Jake put in two doors for us in previous open archways. He was an incredibly good person to work with. He explained everything to us and gave us all the options and if something deviated from what he told us earlier, he would let us know right away. He finished the door right on schedule and it looked great with very good workmanship. He was always very diligent about scheduling and always came right on time. Also his prices were very competitive and lower than many others. I would not hesitate to work with him on any future home projects. read more

I'd give more stars if I could! Chris has done an amazing job, was really good at it, was responsive and super pleasant, and overall I'm so happy to work with him. Look- I moved in with my boyfriend to the house his dad was raised in. The counters are old. The everything is old. You can see in the picture what I mean. Until we redo the kitchen I wanted to do contact paper on the counters (I know, it's not a long term solution but it's cheaper and a quick way to pretty things up). However, I'm not crafty enough for this and all the quotes I was getting were for a much larger scope than what I was realistically hoping for. Chris came over, got the job done, and we're all so incredibly happy with it. Don't hesitate to work with him! read more

I inquired about a whole house interior paint job. Although I didn't have him for my project, I'm leaving a review solely based on his response and honesty. I can appreciate a business who can at least give me the courtesy to respond to my inquiry and not ghost me since out of the many businesses I could choose from, I did research, narrowed down my choices and chose to message you. I would consider reaching out again for another project. read more

I just called Jake to see if he could help me with a leak we're having in an exterior wall at our house. He answered right away and even though he didn't have immediate availability, he was quick to share the number of another person who I could contact to come take a look. I can't speak to the caliber of Jake's work, but his customer service is outstanding and that says a lot about him. Thanks, Jake! read more

Awesome! Super communicative, arrived right on time and left the areas they worked on super clean. Had a closet shelf installed and some closet doors reinstalled. Could not be happier with the finished work. Will definitely use them again and highly recommend read more

I couldn't be more pleased with the work done in my home. I hired this company to repair my bannister, correct bad texturing (from a prior company), paint cabinets in 3 bathrooms and a hallway. I also needed wire covering in the kitchen. They also did a fantastic job on giving a face lift ro my porch fence. I couldn't be more pleased. Their communication was excellent. I will not go to another company for future needs. Thank you again.. Here are some before and after photos. Thanks again Jake. read more

Never responded to request for a quote to do interior drywall and paint. Maybe they have more business than they need?

Jake and team did and amazing job! We purchased a new house earlier this year and they were able to add double doors for us to make an office. The work they did was fast and they were flexible with helping fix the doors we purchased that came damaged from Home Depot. Thank you again so much for your help and we will continue to support this local business if a new home project arises! read more

I think I just found my go-to GC! Jacob communicated very well and was straight forward from the get go, and was prompt arriving on the agreed upon date and time. These are two qualities that rank high on my list. The workmanship was great, and non-impactful to myself or my neighbors. The job was removing and disposing of my old screen door as well as patching the doorframe. Everything looks just how I envisioned it to look. Couldn't be happier! read more

This is the SECOND time I've used Jake, and I'm in awe with his home improvement skills, customer service commitment, and organization. He is truly a gem, and I'm so thankful to have found him. I had a small project for him where I needed large vertical blinds to be replaced for the biggest window in my house. He showed up to take measurements and created a fair estimate, I purchased the customized blinds he recommended, and he came back at a later date to install the blinds when they were ready. He always provides clear pictures with a detailed summary after completing a project, which instills in me great confidence in his work product and character. The process is always seamless with Wright's Handyman Service, thank you Jake and Alexandra, and happy new year!! read more

Wright's handyman services came to fix my old leaking faucets with new ones I bought. They were courteous, professional, and knew exactly how to solve problems when they arose. I have 3 really old 80s sinks with some challenges and they had to run to the hardware store to pick up some things so that they could fix it. SO glad they came because having new faucets is a total game changer! I will be hiring them again soon to help out with my shower fixtures. I'm so glad I found a reliable company that I can trust to get the job done well!! read more

This review has been a long time coming! Last year, I needed some holes patched in my walls due to having my house re-piped and some baseboards installed. I reached out for a small renovation of my laundry room. I had Saturday had wallpaper installed, but I wanted floating shelves and some painting done. The estimate I got was very reasonable and not only did they come out that week for an estimate, but after I received the estimate, they were available the next week to do the job. I also had a dresser of drawers I wanted converted into a bookcase. It was definitely a challenge, but Jake talked it through with me and got the job done. Jake was communicative and stopped to get my input rather than assuming what I wanted, but he also provided insightful recommendations so I could make informed decisions. He was friendly and did a great job. I would definitely work with them again. read more

Jake and his brother are top notch. We hired them to install a new fan with a new switch on our very tall vaulted ceiling, run electrical to a new ceiling fixture, and build a new pantry for us. Lots of people claim to be perfectionists, but these guys actually are. They take pride in their work, and run a clean job site. My walls look like nothing ever happened, and my new pantry is just awesome. I am a construction manager, so I know enough to know good work when I see it, and the work on my home is great. Jake is a really personable guy too, and very honest with pricing. I look forward to using this duo well into the future. Thanks guys! read more

We had a wonderful experience recently with Wright's Handyman Service. This job was to replace some smoke detectors and to install some security cameras powered by small solar panels for our home. I got a quote for the work the same day and was offered an appointment to have the work done the same week. The quote was reasonable and far less than another handyman service that I had been using. Jake arrived on time for the job and was very pleasant to work with. He is very experienced, and his workmanship was excellent. He took his time but got done with the work within a reasonable period of time. I highly recommend Jake and Wright's Handman Service. read more

Jake in a nutshell is awesome! We had issues with our front door not closing and plumbing issues with our bathroom. He came over the next day and on the same hour was able to fix everything. I highly recommend Wright's Handyman Service! I am new to the area and had no idea where to start. Thankfully the reviews led me to Wright's Handyman Service and I couldn't be more pleased. From start to finish, Jake was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I was able to get a quote quickly and I scheduled for his next available opening. He gave me all the info I needed to buy the supplies needed for the job. When Jake and Joe started, I was given an estimated time of when the job would be done and it was done beautifully and on time. Jake and Joe were punctual, kept a clean working area and worked hard daily. Jake maintained communication with any questions/suggestions. He gave great advice that actually saved me money. He also noticed a gas smell in the morning, which led me to call PG&E and they determined I had a gas leak. So I am very thankful for that! Jake and Joe removed my carpets and placed laminate flooring throughout the house and vinyl flooring in the restrooms and laundry room. They left no trash behind and left my floors nice and clean at completion. I LOVE my floors and I am so excited to move in. I will definitely call Wright's Handyman Services again, and again! Thank you Jake and Joe you guys are awesome! read more

I have had Jake do a number of jobs at my home (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, sheetrock, painting) for several years. The work was always performed beautifully. On Tuesday, 1-14-23, during the big rain and wind storm, a huge pine tree in my front yard fell on my house. It broke a number of holes in my roof, and a large branch broke though my living room wall. It was a total mess. Jake and his helper came out and assessed the damage, got the necessary supplies, repaired the redwood siding on the outside, the sheetrock inside, textured and painted everything all in one day. They did a fantastic job, at very good price. You would never know that the day before I had a huge tree branch sticking into my living room. It doesn't get any better than that! read more

AWESOME! Thank you, Jake, for such great work! Since buying my new home in March of 2020, I have been trying to find a handyman to help make some changes. It was challenging obviously due to the pandemic but also there were so many handymen booked with clients. I decided to wait a bit and happy that I did. I met with Jake to go over my list of fixes and repairs and then scheduled time to do the work. Jake was responsive, gave me suggestions, arrived on time and went straight to work. He would clean up along the way and tested the finish product to ensure it worked as expected. Super thrilled I have found a handyman who does quality work, customer-centric, and cleans after himself. read more
