There are signs around their neighborhood to please be respectful The couple in front of us before going/getting in, the lady said they come every year for them, it was my first time. The volunteers were quiet and helped take photos, one gave me a book mark. A must to visit in near and far for the this. I wouldn't know how long of a wait for the end of the line during 6pm it was going around the block but if everyone goes in take pics look around we did probably 10mins

Took advantage of my retired mom and asked for full payment of the project before it was done. Before we got rid of this company, they had already forecasted multiple times that the end date was a certain day. Now it is over a month since that first promise, and I had to fire them. Will take on other jobs while your project ongoing. It's funny when your electrician shows up at your house at 8pm (not am) to work every day? Enjoy the hammering and drilling through the night. I do not recommend anyone to use them. This is a classic bait and switch approach: promising a smooth project and experience on scope of work, but really was messing around after. To be more specific, I had a project for under cab kitchen lights. Looks like they have not even done the strips we had bought before (Phillips Hue, by the way). So it looks like my project was R&D and it was the perfect one since my retired mom was nice enough to pay before completion.

We recently hired Tyler to handle several projects around our home, and the results are fantastic. He installed a new light in our laundry room, added a recessed can light in the master bath, and upgraded a few outlets to modern USB-C plugs. Most importantly, he ran four new dedicated circuits for us, completely resolving a frustrating issue where our space heaters kept tripping the breakers. As with any home project, there were a few unexpected scheduling delays due to unforeseen conflicts and illness. What really set Tyler apart, however, was his proactive professionalism. He always gave me as much advance notice as possible and immediately came to the table with a clear remediation plan to get everything back on track. Even though the project wrapped up about 1.5 weeks behind the original schedule, the flawless quality of the work and the seamless patch-and-paint job made it entirely worth it. Tyler showed an incredible amount of care and concern for our home throughout the entire process. We will absolutely use Better Electric again for any future electrical needs!

Let me just say that it's too bad Yelp doesn't have 6 stars because Mark at Precision Electric is fantastic. I did a quick search on google for a local electrician and Yelp came up with a few Livermore companies and Mark at PE was the first I called. After reading his great reviews I'm so glad he answered the phone. We agreed on an appointment time that was met, he assessed what needed to be done and quoted a fantastic price. What made me want to add a 6th star was that he was able to work the job on the spot I didn't have to wait to and make another appoint to do the job. After the first job was complete we started talking about another job that needed some trouble shooting and after we started talking about it he was able to stay a bit longer to work on it, he didn't re schedule the second job. He assessed the issue, figured out the problem and within an hour I finally had power the one section of the house. Previously I had two electricians look at the issue and both were not able to fix the issue. Mark came in just "Did It"............. He has a professional demeanor when he talks to you, he's on time and he is smart at what he does. He would be the first one I call next time if I ever need anything done again. read more

Mark is good, prompt and responsive and his price came in below what others wanted to do the same job. We had a three-way switch issue as well as a garage light switch problem that I could not figure out (mind you, I am only a rookie at electrical things). Finally, I decided it would be best to bring in a professional to troubleshoot and resolve these issues. Not only did Mark resolve the two issues that I was stuck on (fixed the three-way switch/light issue and got the switch on the wall in the garage to work with the light, which he even installed the light as that was not part of the reported problem), but he also recommended three breaker switch upgrades to our sub-panel (from 20 amp to 15 amp), that I was able to complete on my own time and not be charged for. He did all of this work for a relatively cheap cost compared to others who bid on this job. Great job Mark and we will definitely use you in the future for any electrical issues that may arise. read more

Mark and his guy (forgot his name) worked on my newly built home to add in a dining room ceiling fan/light junction, an entryway ceiling light hook up, and three kitchen pendant light hookups. Note that this was done after the close of escrow, not during the buildout of the home. Both of them did a fantastic job, especially considering that they had to work around beams/frames. What I particularly appreciate is them working with me to decide the best course of action whenever they ran into some difficulties. The initial estimates they gave me were competitive, and the final cost was close to the estimate. They did a clean job and even came back to fix a switch that was turned upside down, even though I could've done this myself. Something went wrong with one of my plugs in the kitchen- it suddenly stopped working. Mark from Precision Electric first went through some steps on the phone to make sure it was not a simple matter of checking a circuit breaker. He was able to come within 30 min, even though it was late in the afternoon and he was already finishing another job. He quoted a reasonable rate for diagnostics and first hour of labor. I spent all weekend trying to install a new ceiling fan but after it was put together it didn't work. I've done this before without any problems but this time I was frustrated. I called Mark first thing Monday morning. He was here within 2 hours and immediately discovered the problem. He not only worked out the electrical problem but attached the fan blades, screwed in the lightbulbs and finished the entire installation. They also got it permitted for me which some other electricians told me not to do or they didn't want to bother with doing so. I'm sure glad I went with them. They were efficient and obviously experts in their craft. They are very honest and fair too - they initially cut an opening but found a gas line behind the wall so they took care of having that spot patched up rather than putting the cost of that on me which I found to be surprising/not a typical experience I've had but it was surprising in the most positive way possible. I was really appreciative of that and of the team overall. Would definitely recommend Golden Electrical and would use them for any future electrical needs.
