    Chicken Milanese with eggs
    Sally X.

We stopped in for brunch on the Saturday when the Gowanus Open Studios was taking place. This restaurant doesn't normally open for brunch on Saturdays but they did today due to the event. Great place and the woman who owns it is lovely. The brunch menu is varied with eggs and pancakes. I had the Chicken Milanesa two sunnyside eggs, lemon, fries( $22). My SO had the Shakshuka baked eggs, chorizo, mozzarella, jalapeno, spicy tomato sauce, toasted focaccia ($20). Our friend had the Bacon, egg, avocado and cheese, brioche bun, side of fries ($18). The dishes were all very good and service was excellent! I would come back here and try it for dinner!

The service is excellent, attentive and friendly. The ambiance is modern, upscale casual kind of feel. The cocktails are delicious and quite strong. The food was overall good. The mixed grill was great all around, juicy flavorful chicken, perfectly cooked steak. Both empanadas were outstanding. The mozzarella appetizer was interesting, I thought the grilled flavor of the mozzarella added a lot to the dish, others thought the tomato could have used more salt.

They are baked daily. My favorite is the Malbec! Order the sampler if you want to give all of them a try. We've had the milanesa and the churrasco as entrees but the star is the churrasco along with the chimichurri sauce. It was cooked perfectly at medium. The mashed yuca and sweet potatoes have been my go to sides. The desserts are amazing - still deciding if I prefer the empanada with dulce de leche or the panqueque. They have a nice selection of cocktails, wine, and of course sangria. Oscar is one of the owners and you can tell he wants to ensure the guests are taken care of. Looking forward to my next meal there!

Our server was very attentive and the owner of the restaurant was super hospitable and checked on us throughout the night to make sure we were good. Definitely try their empanada sampler!

We didn't have a reservation, but we went the day after a snow storm so it was pretty quiet. At first we were the only customers, but they slowly filled up during our meal. I would describe the inside as 'rustic cute'. It feels very cozy with the exposed brick, wooden tables, and soft lighting. For food we each did the Prix Fixe which lets you choose an appetizer, entree, and dessert. For appetizers we got the Chileatole and the Anticuchos. For entrees I got the Grass-Fed Skirt Steak and my boyfriend got the Pato en Mole Poblano. For dessert we both got the Bread Pudding. I thought the Prix Fixe was a good deal for the quantity and quality of food. Everything was prepared fresh and tasted delicious. Favorite bites were the Chileatole soup and the Skirt Steak. Our server was super friendly and approachable. Overall it was a really good experience and I would definitely return the next time I'm visiting the area.

While there isn't exactly an Argentine neighborhood in New Jersey, many great restaurants are…read morelocated in the northern part of the state. Argentine cuisine is a blend of influences from the Italian and Spanish immigrants with its chief national product, beef. They say the reason Argentine steak is so good is that its cattle graze on the country's plentiful pampas grass, rather than being grain-fed as American cattle are. The result is leaner, more flavorful, and more nutritious beef. One such establishment is on Moonachie Road in Moonachie, where my partners, our friends and I decided on Saturday dinner. Reservations were easily made via OpenTable. Upon entering this cozy, modern interior of Tango Steak as first-timers, we were greeted by the host and got a table right away. We were here 3 years ago when it was El Tango Argentina Grill. The vibe has completely changed. It's now darker and louder, not family-friendly. Music was at a decent volume and does seem to increase as it gets later, giving it a lounge type. As an appetizer, we started with Beef and Chicken Empanadas as well as Calamares (Calamari). For our main meal, we decided on the Extrana (Skirt Steak) with Mashed Potatoes & Chimichurri Sauce and Tango Burger accompanied with Fries. Food was good, not awesome. Our appetizers were tasty and well seasoned. The Skirt Steaks tasted fantastic with the Chimichurri Sauce. The Mashed Potatoes had a nice texture. However, some of us asked that their Tango Burgers be made medium but came out well done. The Fries were salty and very dry. Our service was horrendous, but our server was Nathaly who was accommodating and apologetic. Some of us had gotten their appetizer faster than others. The duration between our appetizers and the main meal was an hour. The food was not cheap given the portions received and the 20% gratuity added automatically to the bill. With insult to injury, their valet attendant charged $5. Definitely not what we expected, which is why we sadly can't recommend this place.

Came in and the line was already outside, thankfully we had reservation. Sat down after few minutes, we then received some bread and water to start with. Everything looks delicious so we were a bit overwhelmed, although their menu selection is not that long. We started with thick bacon with Caesar salad and Shrimp cocktail. And for drinks we had wine and Negroni. For main we got their Porterhouse with sides of creamed spinach, mushroom, and their famous German Fried Potatoes. Oooff! By this time we barely ate because we were already getting full. The flavor was amazing and complemented each sides with it. It was a great combination. And for dessert I was the only one who ordered as my husband was already full. I got apple strudel, they served it with vanilla ice cream and homemade cream on the side.
