    overall pretty decent, the food is like others said a bit bland but overall not bad…read more teriyaki chicken bowl tasted a bit off to me, feels like they didn't use enough teriyaki or it was a watery sauce but it didn't have much flavor and the rice was disappointing. kind of those big, overly fluffy yet kinda dry grains, not really sushi grade or anything close which i usually prefer in dishes like this. same was true for the fried rice ball, which wasn't crispy or sticky. the fries were also pretty bland, but crispiness and cut were so good! just needs a bit more salt, bit more flavor. mint yuzu lemonade was DELICIOUS it's just sweet enough and just concentrated enough. very fresh and yummy 10/10 yuzu cheesecake was also pretty good, though the texture's more whipped than usual cheesecake and a bit grainy, which i assume comes from the yuzu. which it had more crust but still great! so yes overall not bad but i probably wouldn't get anything rice-reliant and adding salt helps a lot

The warm congee is perfect on a cold fall or winter day. I love all the different toppings they add especially the pickled vegetables and peanuts to add texture to the meal. Instead of just using white rice, they used different mixes of grains for the congee - making it more healthy. They got rid of the scallion pancakes which was a bummer because it looked so good in the photos. They also have a little shelf market selling different Asian cooking ingredients. I couldn't narrow down to a specific country, I think this place is meant to be more Asian-fusion.

The broth really soothed my body and senses. No noodles were in it. I believe this is an Indonesian restaurant. The little store sold noodles sauces games and books. I am definitely interested in coming back to try other items on the menu.

It's a circular chef's counter, a bit lowlit but with the spotlight being on the food. The staff were very nice, engaging and super helpful for recommending drinks tailored to preferences. I got the drink pairing with nice pours. The selections were thoughtful and to me paired well in enhancing each dish's flavors. The highlighted courses were the Chawanmushi with a very impressive amount of truffle (the other diners and I were in shock with how much kept getting shaved!) - just an explosion of flavor - the caviar tartate was extremely well done (though is an add on) with the mildly salty caviar balancing the tender and sweeter beef tartare. The chef's were great at explaining each dish and answering questions. I really appreciated the Polish influence from the head chef in dishes and experiencing that fusion. The price is quite reasonable and cheaper than other kaiseki in NYC (which tend to be $200+ base). Would definitely recommend and return! Most kaiseki restaurants are in Manhattan so this is definitely a great addition to Brooklyn.
