I ordered the pot roast, and it was really good. It was raining outside, so it felt like the perfect comforting treat. I am still craving it and would honestly go back just for that dish. It cost $28.50 and came in a generous portion, which made it feel like a great value. The service was also very good. We arrived right when they opened for an early lunch, which made for a relaxed start to the meal. By the time we were leaving, the restaurant was already starting to fill up, which says a lot about its popularity. The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained, and the ambiance was warm and inviting, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.

Went to this restaurant on a busy Friday night. It was packed! Food took a bit long but we had good company and ordered appetizers which allowed us to eat and wait. There are a lot of solid options along with drinks as well. There's some booths, tables, and also a bar. There's staff was super kind and accommodating as well. Would highly recommend to those in the area! Call ahead or make reservations online since they have good business!

Came here on a Monday night around 7pm. There were actually a lot of ppl for a Monday night . This is what we order Salmon tartare- the tartare was good however the chips were quite mediocre Pot roast - it was good but didn't wow me. It came with veggies and mashed potatoes which were good too. Pork Chop- was very tender and juicy. Very impressive dish. highly recommended it! White chocolate banana cream pie- it's gluten free thus the crust lacked the texture. Service was ok. We didn't feel too welcoming. Dishes took a while to come out. Ambiance is good for a date night.

Came here for dinner and was seated on the outdoor patio. There were plenty of heaters to stay warm. The waiter was very friendly and took the time to explain the menu. Bread is available if you ask for it. I tried the pot roast and steak frites. Both were delicious.

Banana tart. Not too sweet and delicious!

I really love this restaurant. They do everything well. From the minute you enter the door, the customer service is excellent all around. I really enjoy taking my Grandma here as it's close by and the parking is convenient. The desserts are the stars of the show here. You cannot leave without ordering one or two! I ordered the vanilla gelato to share with my Grandma and they even split it into separate bowls for us. My parents shared the banana tart and I tried a little bit and it was good. Not too sweet. This is a nice place to sit out in the patio. Although they don't do reservations for it, they can put a note on the reservation that you would prefer the patio. If you come when they open at 11:30am, you won't have an issue. The manager is super nice and the staff are all very friendly. I appreciate small businesses like this as you can tell they put so much love into it. I would say this is a nice place to celebrate a birthday (which we've done for my Grandma) and other special occasions. Also just a nice place in general even if you don't have an occasion!

Cod special with vegetables over mashed potatoes

My BFF invited me here for my birthday lunch at noon. It was very quiet - we had a window seat. Restaurant started to fill up more an hour later. You need to request the bread which is served 4 small slices at a time with butter. I had the fish over mashed potatoes with vegetables and my hubby had the pasta with seafood. Both were enjoyed. It was pleasant as the place is not overly crowded or noisy. Service was good. Prices for entrees ranged from $19 - 38 depending on what you order I got a birthday complimentary scoop of vanilla ice cream with a biscotti. My BFF ordered a cheesecake for all to sample. Overall very pleasant lunch more so because of the company.

Sunday night prime rib dinner

Came here for dinner with a friend of mine coming from out of town. The restaurant is tucked into a corner of a shopping plaza but the vibe felt upscale & intimate. Servers were professional and attentive. The menu was well thought out with many options you can mix & share with friends, and had an extensive spirits and wine section. I got the primer rib dinner since it was Sunday (and why the heck not!) I like my steaks medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes and broccoli rab were excellent sides. We finished the evening with the upside down strawberry cake and it was deliciously soaked in a sweet, lemony cream. Will come back again, maybe for a date night!

Mushroom Soup of the Day
James M.

With such excellent reviews and reputation, I was looking forward to the opportunity to try Esin for the first time. While the atmosphere was refined and the service excellent, the dishes themselves left something to be desired. We began the meal with the Mushroom Soup du jour, a decent but rather basic offering that lacked anything to set it apart. If I were to offer a recommendation, I think adding in a few whole or partial mushrooms after the base of the soup is fully blended would offer a nice textural and flavor contrast that would help bring the dish to the next level. As it stands, I found myself bored with the soup about halfway through the bowl. The Pan Fried Cod Sandwich was cooked to absolute perfection, with the light and crunchy breading complimenting the soft bread excellently. Unfortunately however, what it really lacked was any defining flavor. The smoked paprika remoulade which was supposed to provide most of the flavor was just too mild to carry the dish, leaving most bites tasting simply of bread. They serve the remoulade on the side and I found myself trying to scrape out every last bit of the sauce from the container just to get a little more flavor on my sandwich. With the excellent ingredient-quality and execution, this totally has the potential to be a five-star sandwich, it just needs a punchier sauce and honestly more of it. We ended the meal with dessert and if I may offer a word of advice, avoid the Ginger Bread Pudding at all costs. It was cold and spongy, and the candied ginger on top added little and felt out of place. They have an extensive dessert menu and I'm sure some of them are excellent, just not this one. I caught glimpses of why Esin is so popular, but overall my first experience left me with more critiques than compliments.

We visited midweek for lunch, and the place was packed. The food was good. The decor a bit dark, probably romantic at dinner. The price point is in line with competitors. I was thoroughly disappointed when it was my turn to order and what I wanted was not available. I would have appreciated knowing that up front. It really tainted my whole experience and meal because I had my heart on what I had chosen.

Great romantic ambience. Low lighting & quaint booths. We went to celebrate our anniversary tonight & everything was amazing ! Definitely will be returning. The pot roast was delicious! The peanut butter tart was to die for ! The waiter was very attentive & nice. Thank you, Esin ! We will return again!

Baileys Cheesecake and Banana dessert

We went here for a late Bday dinner. We had made reservations and it was a good idea. We went in on. Friday and it was busy with a capital "b"!! We had been to Revel and Social Bird for drinks, so I wanted to try out the Mediterranean vibe it's known for. Hostess was real friendly and sat is quickly. Matt our Server was quick to get our appetizers and drink order. We had a couple of wines and a Sazerac and some appetizers. Gnocchi and Flatbread were delicious and were perfectly portioned for 4 people. I had ordered the Pork Chop with pear and ginger chutney. I opted out of the Sweet potato cake and got Garlic mash potatoes. All of the other dishes looked great, Filo wrapped Mary's Chicken and Steak Frittes. The Pot Roast Americano also looked good. Wr did save room for dessert and wifey got a bday gelato scoop. We had ordered a Apple Crisp, a Baileys Cheesecake, and a Banana cream sort Dessert. Everything from the seating process and dessert was A+ service. Definitely a must for an elevated dining experience with a Mediterranean vibe.

Chicken wrapped Philo

Both a dining room service and food critic at the helm. My wife and I visited Esin on a Friday night around 7 PM, with prior easy to make reservations. We were seated at seven sharp. The overall ambience complemented the seating and interpersonal experience quite well, clear, dim, lighting, with a focus to attention on the areas that mattered. The dining room service was impeccable, everyone worked as a team. This is the first time in many years where our meals were steaming, hot, sustaining a good amount of steam north of 10 minutes, seriously. I opted for the beef Bolognese while my wife enjoyed the chicken wrapped in Philo. We will absolutely revisit given the service, quantity and quality of food. Please note, we had a few amazing appetizers as well as a bottle of wine, all phenomenal. Job well done, Esin

The menu is extensive enough for most tastes, and we did order a variety of foods to test that theory! The ones we ordered and have photos for include: Pear Quesadilla (Pears, brie cheese, flour tortilla, pear chutney); Calamari Fritti; New York White Cheddar Fondue; Bishop Ranch salad (Baby greens, pear, candied walnuts, blue cheese, balsamic vinaigrette); and for dessert: Warm Pear Tart (Puff pastry, vanilla ice cream, caramel), and a Seasonal Bread Pudding. The food came quickly and hot from the kitchen - except the salad and desserts! The food was very tasty, and the pear quesadilla and fondue were favorites for the uniqueness and the taste. The fondue had sliced pears along with the bread, a great change in the usual fondue take. The salad was also liked, fresh and a good variety of tastes and textures. They subbed the dressing for ranch. The desertas were also a hit, being shared. The warm pear tart was best liked, and very sweet and traditional in taste, but the bread pudding was also a close second. The pear tart was new to us, though. The service was great, and Cesar R. took good care of us. Overall, a great time! Can't wait for another excuse to be in the area for dinner.
