The staff was super friendly and kind. I had the country fried steak with cream gravy, mashed potatoes, fried okra, and a roll, plus extra gravy for good measure. Everything came out hot and fresh, and that steak was huge. My daughter had the fried fish platter with potato salad, mac and cheese, and cornbread. The fish was perfectly crispy and absolutely delicious. We left full and happy, and we'll definitely be back to try more of their home style cooking. I felt slighted at first, but then realized this was a kids meal...duh!. But surprisingly, I was satisfied and comfortably full when finished with the mini meal and half a chocolate cake. After eating, we were sitting there when both the cook(owner) and the cashier came over to ask how everything was. To be honest, that was the best greasing burger I ever had.
