I noticed the good amount of reviews (some not good too) on yelp, so I decided to give them a try. The crew showed up an hour and a half late without any sort of apology. It was a very hot day, so I could understand that could slow the crew down. On the windows they did clean were done real well, however they did miss a window. Both of the crew members were not very friendly. When I called back to inform them, the owner seemed to question it, as if I could not clearly see if the window was still dirty. I called for a quote and they said they wouldn't give me a quote. Which is weird because the website says to call for a quote! Then, after I told him that I was looking for they quoted me $70 for outside windows only. Then when I mentioned that I had a $20 coupon that is on their own website, he then said that the price is normally 95 and that he won't take the coupon but he'll do it for 70. After I explained that I didn't think this was right, he said that's OK, have a nice day and he hung up on me. With so many window cleaning companies in the area, I think I will call somebody else. Was very displeased with the service provided by this company. They were hired for gutter cleaning and complained they had to use a ladder. They also tried to raise the price when I had a postcard with the price on it. The tech only checked some of the gutters, not all. They then wanted to charge a 5% fee for paying by credit card which was never disclosed. Upon contacting the company the owner was argumentative and condescending. Apparently I should have disclosed my form of payment upon booking the service. Would not recommend this company. Had a down spot for the second story that wasn't draining so I did a tad bit of research and called Ernest Windows. I called around 2 pm, they said they'd be by that day. I was a bit surprised but skeptical as it was late. They did call around 5 and say they were running behind and would I mind if they came in the morning. Well, let me tell you, I was shocked in the first place that I wasn't scheduled out a month in advance and they could come and solve the issue so quickly. Of course they can come in the morning. Let me tell you, they were at my home by 9am- plenty of time for me to be fully caffeinated, and the gutters on the 2 story with 4 gables plus garage were cleaned out and ready for the storms that hit in the afternoon. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Made an appointment and they didn't show up. Made another appointment and they didn't show up. Finally showed up to the 3rd appointment but the worker put a huge 9 foot scratch in my hardware floor with the long ladder that should have had some type of protector (even a towel) on the footings as he was carrying out of my family room. Also left marks from the ladder on my wall when they washed my skylights in the family room. I heard the scraping of my floor and actually saw the worker hit my wall. Called the owner Ernest and his answer to me was "what do you want me to do about it"! Well, Ernest, I asked you to please come over and look at the damage and you told me you were in Los Angeles (LA) and you would send the worker back to look at it. Made an appointment for 9am the next morning and that was on August 3rd. Well, I'm still waiting!!!!! He has yet to show up. I text you and you never replied. You blew me off and once I asked for your insurance provider, you ignored me including my texts, which I still have. I put a stop payment on your check ($200) immediately but you keep asking me where your money is. Well, I would be glad to pay you once you repair my hardware floor which I am sure is more that the $200 for my window cleaning. Today, when I spoke to you, you became irate and called me a.......and I quote........'A PIECE OF SHIT". Nice business etiquette, Ernest! UPDATE TO ERNEST'S COMMENT. (He has since deleted his response). I find it funny that you write such a dumb response, Ernest. First of all, your worker just finished cleaning the window and was carrying the long ladder out of my family room. The back end of the ladder was scraping on the floor while he was walking and the front of the ladder, which I saw, hit my wall in my foyer, so please don't say I am lying. And, I didn't go out of the house the whole time he was here and your worker knows that. I didn't leave the inside of the house at all (as you state) as I work from home and was at my desk. When I called you about the damage and asked you to please come to my home and look at it, you REFUSED!!!!!. We both know and I am sure many people reading this would agree that the repair costs far exceed your $200. And, you NEVER even spoke to my husband and your worker NEVER came to my house. So, your response is incorrect and only saying that because you don't want to look bad to your clients. I am just trying to let other potential clients know that your "100% Satisfaction Guarantee and Fully Licensed and Insured" you state on your website means absolutely nothing. NOTE TO ERNEST: Just remember, I have all of the text messages, pictures and phone calls documented. I would be happy to post them here if you really want to play that game. Nice try though! We scheduled an appointment that got lost with a crew that didn't show up, Ernest handled it immediately. Two hour later Tutis showed up, and he is the hardest working man in the business. He busted his butt on a hot roof cleaning gutters, and then did a real pro job on all the house windows. Did the whole house by himself in a few hours, and is a very personable and professional young man. He'll have his own business very soon with his hard work and great attitude. Fast, friendly, affordable service! I needed the pitch on a segment of my gutter adjusted as it was sagging, and needed the downspout on that same segment cleaned as it was clogged. Andy was at my house within 30 minutes of me calling the office, and the work was quoted, completed and paid for within another 30 minutes. Save your hard earned cash. The young man who came out to work was very polite and a hard worker with a good work ethic. He should teach his boss customer service skills. He was extremely rude and was scolding me on the phone for asking a clarification concerning the quote he gave me. He then overcharged me and called me back to ask me why I was unhappy with his service. Instead of listening to my concerns, he began yelling at me and cutting me off. He actually hung out on me.
