Wonderful, I am addicted to this restaurant. The food is awesome, the names are funny, and the sandwiches are to die for. Like WOW, holy muffins, i feel a wet spot growing in my pants at the mere thought of erbert's sandwich in my room. Deep within the confines of my room. Oh dear... anyways... My favorite sanny to order is the "Comet Morehouse." It's a classic, tasty ham and cheese sanny. Aw my my, you could never go wrong with the comet morehouse, right? Well, think again, buster, because after consumption of such morsel, your breath will perpetually smell like the morehouse until the day you die. Be careful to not order the "Jacob Bluefinger," because although scrumptious, nobody wants their breath to smell like a "jacob bluefinger." Anywho, i've brushed and brushed my teeth time and time again nonstop. I spend hours a day sobbing over the bathroom sink, my teeth desperately clinging for dear life as I brush them into oblivion. I floss for 30 minutes every day and consume a liter of mouthwash. However, after a long decade of doing this, my breath somehow still reeks of my favorite 'wich, the Comet Morehouse. When my girlfriend and I were snuggling, she retorted in disgust every time i took a breath. When confronted, she told me my breath smells like The Comet Morehouse. It still does to this day, 10 years later. I even took this to my dentist, but the second i stepped foot into the office, even the receptionist cowered in fear at the smell of my Morehouse breath. My husband and I are traveling across the country and were trying different foods so this place caught my eye based off the name and then the pictures of the sandwiches online. My husband got the "neuron" which was brisket and Mac and cheese. The amount of meat that was given was a joke. The mere thought of it floods my mind and body with adrenaline and surges of sensation and fluids better left unsaid. Every time I gorge my face with a creamy and gooey C. M. I feel as if I am at peace with the world. Nothing could be better. I am in short, addicted to this 'wich. However, my addiction has ended me up in a bit of a sore spot with my dental hygiene. My girlfriend commented on how my breath reeks of comet morehouse, and I have to say I agree. The stench of the morehouse emanates from my gaping hole and into the atmosphere surrounding me. I cannot control this. No matter how much I brush my teeth or floss or whatnot, the morehouse does not falter. It stays etched into my mouth like the remnants of those past. She has told me that she feels like she's dating Erbert and not me with the rate at which my breath smells. I love the morehouse more than life. I do not know what to do. I cannot stop consuming it. I find pieces of it lodged in my gums and teeth dotting my mouth constantly, which I deep throat then regurgitate again and again just to get one hit of morehouse in this dark and unforgiving world. I can not get this sandwich out of my mind. If I try the Jacob Blue Finger, I know it's all over. I won't be able to return to a normal life again. My son's friends got sick while we were ordering and he did not make it all of the way to the bathroom. He is 13 years old. The store called the owner in to clean it up. We were told that we could not leave until the owner got there. The owner stormed in and started swearing at the kid for getting sick outside the bathroom door. He got in the kids face as well as my husband and I. Saying the f word none stop. Telling the kid he did it on purpose. He told the other kids to get the hell out of the store. Twice right before close and once in the middle of the day. the negative nancy's who have plummeted the rates on this lovely sandwich shop have never worked in the fast food industry. The sandwiches are so good. my favorite the titan is only 8 dollars and leaves my belly full after a night of college activities. Service has never been bad. I made the mistake of going here for lunch with my daughter. The place was filthy and they served her what looked and smelled like 3 day old mac and cheese. I was so disappointed with the service and the cleanliness of this establishment. First I had to place my order at one location, then I was instructed that it was my responsibility to carry the chips and cookies I added to my order to the other location where I would pick up my sandwich and soup. Then when I requested a larger bag to carry everything out together the server didn't have a solution and had to ask a manager. The manager then offered me a box not a bag. Given that there were about six workers available to handle my one order and only one other customer I was surprised that so little customer service was available. No one smiled, the atmosphere felt like all the workers and the manager were angry and sullen. The plastic wrap on my cookie was greasy. The chicken noodle soup tasted really old. Love love love this place!! The people working there are friendly and fast, they're doing really well handling the pandemic with social distancing and everyone inside has to wear a mask. After studying the menu for some minutes I decided on a Narmer. The pleasant staff offered a choice of 3 mustards to add to the reduced mayo portion. The sandwich was good although I can't exactly explain why. The sandwich and chips were moderately satisfying, perhaps because I was overly hungry. There used to be an Italian restaurant, Cesar's in Forest Park, Il with good food and excellent sub sandwiches. The meats and cheeses were hand sliced and placed in excellent crusty bread. The smell of fresh bread is a real knock-out, but my sandwich was just so-so. They seem to skimp on the meat and you end up with a pretty high-carb, low protein experience. Horrible online order experience. The whole point of ordering online is to avoid waiting in line. When I arrived at the store I was directed to wait in line for a good 5 min or so. Completely defeats the purpose. I had to violate a handful of traffic laws to get to work on time. I've been ordering from this same store since I moved here a year ago. The owner is completely disrespectful, to his employees and the customers. No matter the day or time there has been multiple complaints to corporate about him and his behavior towards customers no matter the circumstances. It all started when he called back and said they were out of a soup. We simply asked a question about when they closed and he said he can either cancel the order or have us tell him a replacement. Nate the owner needed up hanging up. Called back with the replacement order for the soup and when I asked about if it was the same time frame he hung up again. Had to call a third time to confirm and he said " the longer we talk on the phone the longer it will take for your food." 2 minutes later our food came.
