Nice shop, great food! Street parking. Plenty of inside and outside seating. Took quite a bit to get the food service but they disclose on a sign that it can take up to a 1/2 hour if it's busy. The chorizo egg bowl was flavorable with a medium spice. You don't need to add the additional sauces available. Loaded with sweet potatoes. Bagel sandwiches were good, warm. Eggs were fluffy. The loaded avocado toast was amazing, flavorful, seasoned right, overflowing in the basket. read more

Tried this place because it was available on door dash. I wouldn't order from them again. The coffee was simply mediocre at best. They do offer a lot of flavor options which is nice. I'm an iced coffee girl so I got an iced pumpkin spice latte with an extra shot. I was really disappointed in the size of the coffee you get for the price. I ordered large and it was the size of Dixie cup at best....it was a $9 drink....so unfortunately going forward I will stick with scooters or caribou. read more

Always a good stop! Lovely coffee and tea options - generous and friendly staff with clean atmosphere. I like to call in my order ahead of time so I don't have to wait for my drinks to be made and only have to pay. I believe they have an app to order on also, although I've never used it. My one complaint is that sometimes the baked items are underdone. read more

There are plenty of tables in the shade outside the shop and plenty elbow and leg room. Unfortunately the inside has an awkward confusing configuration which seemed to confuse patrons and employees alike. The menus are in a box on the side with a cardboard sign with arrow pointing the way. People order at the narrow counter and in a queue of more than two there is no room to move. The order taken everyone looks at each other as the employees turn back and go about their business. There is a pick up order sign around the corner, but some are brought over the order counter and others are brought to the pickup side. There is table seating as well and they serve beer. The sandwich menu was impressive and there is some creative pastries. The brewed dark was not up to my level of par as it was not hot enough after being kept in an air pot and then there's the dreaded acidic taste. read more

THIS PLACE WAS FANTASTIC! I'm bummed that I will probably never be back in this area to go again. My husband is not a fan of coffee, so he ordered a vanilla frappe which he thought was the best he'd ever had. I ordered a latte, also very delicious. Bacon wrapped cheese curds? YES, PLEASE! DO NOT leave here without ordering these. They are not breaded or greasy and you don't even need the sauce they come with. However, I'm glad we had that sauce because it paired perfectly with my breakfast burrito. I got it "loaded" and it was FANTASTIC! We ate it too fast to get a pic! My husband ordered a bagel sandwich. He said it was good, but needed cream cheese (but he didn't bother to ask for any). First time customer traveling through town. We popped in for a quick sandwich and two regular, 12 oz. black coffees. Great location, nice ambiance. Coffees were served first; both were tepid, disappointingly. When the server brought out our sandwich, I mentioned politely that both coffees were lukewarmwarm and please could we have two hot coffees? No "sorry, of course." She rolled her eye, grabbed our cups and stormed off in a huff. Is it too much to ask a coffee shop to serve HOT coffee?! Another server brought out our two replacement coffees. We knew Blooming Grounds would be the perfect cozy spot to warm up with a hearty meal. Once inside, we were greeted by a friendly crew who told us not to be wallflowers, and to go blooming seat ourselves (but in more pleasant verbiage). We found a place to plant right next to the fireplace, where we had front row concert seats by the stage for the evening's live entertainment, with Mick Blooming Jagger himself looking over our shoulders. Or Steven Tyler. The debate rages on as to which one... Once our rock star seating was secured, we ventured back to the counter to place our panini orders. We almost always either order the Caprese pesto pizza or the panini--you'll get a tasty meal made with quality ingredients either way. The panini are all made with with preservative-free, herbed focaccia bread and nitrate-free, organic meat. My friend picked a panino with organic, free-range chicken, a homemade olive and artichoke spread, and Havarti cheese, with a side of crab soup. I selected chicken, provolone, avocado, and bacon, with a side of red pepper gouda soup, and the blooming masterpiece was complete. The panini were stuffed with the perfect amount of juicy, thick, tender meat, and our soups were piping hot with flavor. On our way out we stopped at the counter to drool at the unbelievable arrangement of dessert bars baked daily by the owner. You really can't leave without taking one for the road. Steven thinks you should try them all, because you "...Don't Want to Miss a Thing." The chocolate oatmeal revel bars in particular are something to celebrate! I could rave for days about their chewy, oat cookie crust, and rich, fudgy filling goodness. If it contains oats, it can only be healthy, right? The bars are cut into huge squares and are thick to begin with, so don't try to eat an entire one yourself unless you've "Got the Moves like Jagger". Mick blooming Jager, that is. After reading the great reviews we decided to give this place a try. It is one of those things that I struggle with when I try a place based on great reviews because I think that raises the bar in my mind. We felt that the food was just okay. I got the Prime Steak Penine and it was okay, something spicy that I could not identify but it was average. My wife got something with chicken and artichokes and I am not sure what it is with this sandwich but it had a very sweet flavor to it that was just odd. My wife thought it tasted like banana bread. We also got the soup which was really more like chili, but it was not bad. The place is cool inside, and we didn't get coffee which is maybe why they have such good reviews. read more

I hate to do this as I've had their skinny vanilla lattes in the past and they were good. But this past weekend I stopped there twice and both drinks were horrendous...I thought the first was just a fluke. The second time I got a white chocolate peppermint mocha and it was awful. Went for breakfast on a Sunday mid morning. Very busy, line was fairly long as expected for a weekend morning . Ordered breakfast food and coffee. Quiche and burritos,muffin. After waiting 40 minutes at our table , we asked the person at the counter to check on our order. 10 minutes later our two quiches were delivered- cold. No burrito no muffin. I believe our order was lost . We took the quiche back to counter to have them heat it up. 5 minutes later someone delivered the heated up quiche - still no burrito or muffin 10 minutes later burrito delivered . Temp good and good flavor. Coffee was good. I get the struggle all restaurants are feeling right now with lack of help and I have lowered my expectations. But on the other hand some restaurants are doing really well and service is good. Will stop again for a coffee and bakery item but will not be back to dine in. read more

Blooming Grounds was a really cute place! I loved the ambiance with the lights and live music. I had a caramel frappuchino one morning which was delicious and it was cozy and relaxing to enjoy from the booth. I came back for pizza on a weeknight, and it was very good. However, I was a little bummed that the pizzas were so small (pretty much a personal size if you're hungry) for the price (around ~$12 each). Also, it took over 20 minutes for them to come out even though there were very few people there. If you aren't on a budget or in a hurry the food and drinks were great and I would recommend it! read more
