So good. Mushrooms in a delicious sauce.

Fantastic find...recommended by a friend. Beautiful place. Excellent, creative food. Pleasant service. Great vibe. Shared meal served divided; always a quality sign. Two minor things: mushroom app was super, needed a serving spoon. Outdoor signage very low key. Walked right by it.

    Matcha cheesecake- very good!

Nosh is a foodie gem in Winona. The food was delish and our waiter Aaron was great. Very friendly staff, all very attentive - filling water and picking up dishes. The ambiance was very nice. We ordered the beet salad, wagu beef with Korean fried rice, paella, and matcha cheesecake for desert The beet salad was good- warm beets with sweet crunchy walnuts however it's a small serving. The wagu meat was very tender and had good flavor, however the rice, in my opinion, not savory, but spicy- the true Korean flavor was not as authentic- it was mostly gochujang flavored. The paella was very good- it would be nice if it was made with chicken - or an option with chicken. The matcha cheesecake dessert was light and airy and perfectly sweetened. Not too sweet. Lovely. We will definitely come back. Don't miss this gem while in Winona.

We had another great dinner last night. Tried some new dishes: Detroit Coney Island Flatbread was great. My husband had the Shepherds Pie and absolutely devoured it. I had the Pasta Bolognese which had so much flavor and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Staff was attentive and kind.

Who would have thought that Winona was a foodie city? We recently had a chance for a short trip to Winona from the Twin Cities and were thrilled to discover some great eateries in Winona. Leading the list for us was Nosh. Nosh is definitely a restaurant that reaches the highest of gastronomic delight. We had limited time for our visit but sought to maximize our ability to sample some of the dishes at Nosh prior to a concert we were attending that evening. We began our dining adventure with Creole shrimp cocktail. It was served with a Chipotle lime cocktail sauce. It was a delightful combination that definitely satisfied our palette. Next up were bowls of cream of butternut squash and apple soup served with wild rice, couscous, chili oil and chives. It was a great melding of flavors that we really enjoyed in such an interesting combination. We then moved on to roasted exotic mushrooms that consisted of roasted oyster, shitake, and cremini mushrooms in a cherry cream sauce served with grilled bread. It was another treat that we greatly enjoyed. Running out of time for our visit, we had to skip out on the main course and moved on to dessert. We had a couple of different desserts that were unique, beautifully presented and tasty. Our table service was exemplary as our server would magically appear whenever needed and was extremely helpful in making choices of things for us to try with limited time. It was a fantastic dining experience and we look forward to making a return visit especially considering the menu changes frequently offering exciting new options to taste.

We've dined here a few times and have always left wanting to go back. The drinks are delicious and there is a large selection. The desserts are always wonderful. Our entree this last time was so disappointing it has left me always choosing another "special occasion" dinner option. The hassleback potato was delicious. The Brussel sprouts were good but slightly over cooked. The prime rib was almost inedible. It was super dry and even the jus it was served with couldn't save it. Between 2 of us, we ate maybe 12 bites. We ended up taking the rest home and cutting it up for the dogs. The salad we started with (something with a poached egg) was incredible. The other two people with us throughly enjoyed their meals. I was just super disappointed with ours. I would still recommend NOSH to anyone looking for a higher end meal in Winona.

Incredible experience! We sat outside and were seating quickly at around 6:00/6:30. We ordered the Asparagus soup, wild mushrooms and the pork belly tacos and this was an incredible meal -- probably one of the best I've had in a while. The perfect amount of food between two people that allowed us to try a fair bit of options. So many unique options and a great range. Just a phenomenal experience, and this restaurant alone makes me want to come back to this town.

Service and fries were great. Signature burger was way over-cooked and difficult to eat.

Good food and drinks. Server was rude & inattentive. Great ambiance. Really noisy in main room but nicer surroundings than quieter back room

While not always on the menu, ask for a raspberry lemon drop and you won't regret it. The BEST one I've ever had. I will be begging the bartenders to teach me their ways before they close their doors. This is our top choice in town to celebrate accomplishments and achievements. The tavern and patio offer a more casual ambiance, while the restaurant itself is chic and has an element of more formality. The staff is always ALWAYS incredible and thoughtful. The food is always on point, interesting, and flavorful. This place will be well-missed come March, but I know I will be back here plenty in the mean time to get my fill and and support this staff before then.

We were so fortunate that they were able to seat us on the outdoor patio facing the water. This restaurant isn't just great for the views--the food and drinks here were phenomenal as well. Our appetizers of beer-battered cheese curds and mussels were so flavorful and hit the spot. We also loved our fish tacos and linguini with scallops (I absolutely loved the crushed red pepper that came with it too!). Our food all paired nicely with their extensive cocktail/drinks menu, which included many different breweries and distilleries. This is one of those restaurants you'll remember visiting forever--definitely come visit if you can!

The service was very good, as was the salad bar. I didn't like the pasta salad, seemed bland to me and the little Irish muffins are def an acquired taste, as well as the Irish potatoes. ( we wanted to try something new.) Our fish wasn't bad, just not fab. Our biggest disappointment was our complimentary 'cake', which we had been told was in honor of our wedding anniversary. it was a blob of what seemed to be gummy angel food cake topped with whipped topping and a drizzle of chocolate syrup and caramel. What a letdown, especially since they had cheesecake and a delectable chocolate cake on the menu. I'm thinking they keep it in the freezer, to be pulled out for bdays and anniversaries, hence the gummy consistency. My suggestion to them is please don't insult your guests with this horrible, cheap cake! *shudder* Now that we've tried this place, we won't make the long drive again, but trust me, they have a huge clientele and won't miss one couple.
