While my first order was not for coffee, I did get to enjoy a delicious pistachio cake shake with protein that tasted like a bit like pistachio pudding, and kept me feeling really full for hours. With the word "nutrition" in the name of the business, I suppose one shouldn't assume the shakes contain ice cream, but there is always hope. My dreams were smashed to smithereens when I discovered that these shakes are meal replacements using Herbalife, but maybe someday it could happen if the shop name changes to Semi Nutrition. At any rate, I was pleasantly surprised upon first sip to not detect any of the chalky aftertaste often associated with meal replacement drinks. Of course conduct your own research on the safety of this or any supplement. I did not experience any shakes after drinking my shake, so from that highly scientific test alone I'm sure it's all safe. I'm not usually on board for meal replacements in general because this gal likes real food, but in this case I was intrigued by their exciting menu. I would return in cases where shakes are easier to deal with than a real meal (for example, when spending hours at the library.) In the future I would love to try out their coffee drinks, protein donuts, or some of the more delicious sounding mixes like Snickerdoodle, Iced Nutella Café, or Lemon Blueberry cheesecake.
