The waitress was very friendly and asked for our drink orders immediately which were also delivered promptly. They are observing covid19 restrictions and we certainly felt safe to dine in. Our meal order was taken promptly and the appetizer salad was delivered in moments. Believe me the appetizer salad is only in name because it is more like a meal in itself!! The main course took a bit longer but was certainly worth the wait. My wife ordered the shrimp dinner that featured nine jumbo shrimp which was to my benefit because she could only eat 6 which made my meal a fish and shrimp dinner. The fish had a nice and light batter and the fish had very good flavor. The real mashed potatoes and gravy hit the spot as well. I really wanted dessert but had no room left! Very hearty meal and must stop for those hungry truck drivers.

The drive in always had great food. This year the chicken and burgers have gone down hill. The…read morechicken has a weird taste, possible from different oil being used. One time it tasted like it was cooked with fish. The burgers no longer taste grilled, instead a bland steamed flavor along with tasteless buns. No ketchup is given with French fries even when asked. Cheese curds seem more like small marble sized coating with a bit of cheese. All very disappointing after decades of great food. The chocolate shakes & root beer floats are still good. The attitude of the owner/manager needs improving too.

You can opt for fries which are equally great, but honestly, just the sandwich alone is enough to fill you up since it's so huge. Also, the sauce on the sandwich is very addicting; I wish they drizzled it on the fries as well, though the calorie count might take a huge hit afterwards. The gyros are also tasty, but the Vienna schnitzel is just too good to pass up most times. The currywurst is just ok, however. To simplify things, it seemed to be cut up "hot dog" on a bed of fries with some spicy catsup. I didn't think it was anything special.
