I absolutely love this place! From the moment you walk in the door, until the moment you walk out everything is perfect! This is a family run establishment and they serve everything with an extra side of pride. Mom, dad, the kids, you name it! Everybody is working together and making it great!! The place is busy, but they turn the tables super fast. The food comes out hot and correct- even if you have a special order like "moi." The breakfast can't be beat. Eggs, pancakes, biscuits, sandwiches, potatoes, you name it are all cooked to perfection. They even have a counter if you're solo. You take a look around and everybody is moving and shaking. Gave 4 stars because after we were seated, giving our drinks it took 15 minutes for our server to take our order. The people who were seated 5 minutes after us their order was taking before ours (by the same server). The food was excellent, prepared perfectly, it was hot and fresh. read more

A Saturday morning last year in mid August, not very busy, somewhat lackadaisical service. Ordered a Denver omelette, Bacon, English muffin, and coffee. Pretty easy order. The omelette was really dry, which showed and tasted like it had been cooked with little or no oil(s). Inside was a scant amount of diced veggies that were undercooked, and hardly any cheese. Muffin needed to be toasted more and was a little cold, (but there were plenty of those tiny plastic things of questionable quality butter.) Coffee definitely could've been better and warmer, (which maybe explained the giant double lines next door, at a different business.) I've got a whole bunch of experience in the food industry, and I actually know how easy this order was, so I'm not just being a Karen about my breakfast and picking on a small town hash joint. Kaddy's needs to bring it up a BIG notch (or maybe two) if they want to stay in business. read more

Amazing breakfast and extremely hard-working employees. Kaddy's is very family-friendly. We bring our infant son here regularly. When family visits, they always want to stop by at least once. I always order the Jonathan's Omelette with Hashbrowns and Hotcakes (fruit topping extra - if lucky, they are serving the pumpkin spice ones). Way too much food, but I always gobble it all up. Their Hashbrowns are the best in the area. They don't serve alcohol, so no Bloody Marys... one of the only reason we visit other restaurants for breakfast. read more

Sadly, we only discovered the amazing-ness of Kaddy's right before we relocated out of the area, an hour away. Otherwise this would have been our go-to breakfast spot in the area. Even still, when we come to town, we try to fit in a visit to Kaddy's! They deliver on food, prices, and service Every. Single. Time. The servers are energetic and friendly. The menu has enough selection where there is something for everyone but not so eclectic you can't navigate through it to find a dish you want. The french toast is ah-mazing! The waffles are also very good and they can fry up some crispy, delicious bacon! Prices are outstanding for the amount of food you get. This is a great small, town diner. Highly recommend! read more

Traveling from Indiana to South Dakota with an overnight in LaCross. Googled breakfast places and came across this little cafe just over the river. Great breakfast with friendly staff. Are here during the pandemic and all staff wore face masks and were constantly sanitizing. Chorizo omelette with avocado was wonderful. Family ordered a mix of pancakes, French toast and eggs, everyone very satisfied. I love finding these little gems on trips and supporting local places- this did not disappoint! read more

Came here while on work in lacrosse cause I love hole in the wall places. You always seem to find a gem when exploring and this place is pure gold. We started with a cinnamon roll.... pure heaven! Then onto breakfast girlfriend ordered a omelet, and I got 2 eggs , hot cakes, sausage. We shared and everything was excellent! While the food has been somewhat good, I have to take away a star for my initial impression based on my experience. Service staff are very friendly and know their way around the restaurant; however, the cooking is hit or miss. I ordered the Loaded Omelette, and requested the eggs be left a soft. Instead, I received a browned omelette. I mentioned it to our server, who was very responsive and offered to have another meal prepared. I politely declined. A few minutes later another omelette arrived-which I also declined since we were in a hurry. Other than this situation, I have had mediocre food here before. I usually visit a restaurant two or three times before rating it. My actual rating is 2.5. The place is worth a try, except for those who have special requests. read more

We were craving a nice sit down breakfast. We looked through Yelp and found Kaddy's in La Crescent. The place was packed and we were sat within a few minutes. We had tasty french vanilla coffee's and a very tasty breakfast skillet meal and pancakes & eggs. I'm almost embarrassed I've never been here before since there are so few restaurants in La Crescent, but when I went the food was great, very reasonably priced, and the place had a nice mom-and-pop atmosphere. Breakfast is served all day but they also have a lunch menu from 11am-2pm (I believe) and they are open during dinner hours on Fridays until 8pm. I'm sure I'll be back. read more

Great standard breakfast & lunch place on the corner. They are open 6a-2p seven days a week, and open til 8pm on Fridays when I assume they serve dinner.
