We were a little disappointed that the kitchen was already closed at 2:00 p.m. The barista apologized, but not much could be done. We ended up getting a London Fog Tea Latte and a couple of cookies. (We did find a Mexican restaurant down the street for lunch, so it all worked out.) The London Fog was very good, with a little lavender, a little vanilla, and extra foam. The peanut butter cookie was just okay, but the cardamom ginger cookie was amazing, similar in taste to a molasses cookie. Would definitely like to come back sometime to try the food, enjoy a couple more hot beverages, and sit outside on the patio, rather than on the inside wood box seats.

I tend to prefer places that make some of their own syrups, etc. and from what I can tell, Grounded doesn't really do much from scratch, which is fine, just not my preference. Their drinks are usually good. I was kind of disappointed to see their even their seasonal specialty drink was not a homemade syrup. My biggest complaint is their cold brew is super weak/too watered down. Service is usually okay, cleanliness is usually okay as well. I do love their expanded hours, so we do stop here when others are closed.
