The food was delicious and the service was fabulous. Our waitress and all the staff were so welcoming and friendly and made our experience. We got the Burnt Ends Mac n Cheese, Caesar Salad, and Sweet Potato Waffle Fries and everything was delicious. We especially loved the sweet potato fries. There is some nice outdoor seating with a view of Reads Creek as well as plenty of indoor seating with AC. Would definitely come again! read more

We saw the reviews and decided to give it a try and we weren't disappointed. We went back for the amazing food and service. Their salad bar is the one of the best ones I've seen and had. The bar is clean, the ingredients fresh... whole bar looks impeccable. The gnocchi soup was fantastic, too. Emily was our star server. She is the nicest server. She is genuine in caring for her customers. She took really good care of us. It's refreshing to find somebody that enjoys their job like she does. She has a great spirit to serve. Ask for her, you won't regret it! I wish I had this gem nearby but I was traveling and exploring The Driftless Area. read more

Absolutely love coming here. We have had dinner here at least 6 times now over the past year or so. Service is always top notch. Portions are always huge and most dinner items have access to a generous soup and salad bar. If you like a good old fashioned , the peanut butter (sweet) is smooth and delicious. It doesn't really taste like peanut butter, but it is nice and smooth. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The owner and/or chef always comes out to make sure you are happy with your meal. We can't say enough how much we enjoy eating here when we are in town. We drive almost 45 minutes because it's so good. As for Susan. She's wonderful. read more

Great salad bar & service. Fried cheese curds were excellent and the ribs were especially good. Highly recommend the ribs! They provide large portions! I took half of my eggplant parmigiana over pasta home. The pasta was just ok. I find I like a little more flavor in restaurant pasta sauce so this might just be me. But everything else was quite satisfying. This is a great place to eat and I would definitely go again if I'm in the area. read more

We have eaten here many times and it was generally pretty good in the past. Last night, for the first time in as long as I can remember, I left no tip. The service was incredibly slow for us while another couple near us who arrived after us was served, ate and left before us. It took the waitress about 20 minutes to tell me that they were out of what i ordered. Then my husband's steak--a special filet so it was not cheap--was not warm when it was served. He couldn't finish it and told the waitress about it and told her to just take it away. And the rice portion with both of our dinners was so small I think it amounted to about 3 or 4 small forkfulls if that. At the end the waitress didn't bring the little machine to process our credit card at the table--which they have always done in the past-- so we couldn't leave a review then. They did adjust the bill by $3 for the meal i ordered that they were out of. But there was no adjustment, or even an offer of an adjustment, for the steak my husband couldn't finish and we did not ask for one. We paid and left and we were even willing to pay the other $3. So this isnt about trying to get a refund. But I didn't leave a tip and I am not sure we will be back. Terrible service and disappointing food last night. Not what you expect when you go out to dinner. read more

Such a nice find on our Apple orchard drive!! After receiving our plates it was obvious that they make everything or almost everything from scratch on site. The onion rings and cheese curds were battered in a delicious way I've never had before. Together our party ordered the open faced beef, the Alfredo pasta, and the patty melt. All outstanding!! The customer service was really nice, interior and exterior clean and well maintained. There's a well done patio space with some areas covered and heaters for cool nights. What a great surprise! We stopped on a Sunday night and had the best food and service! The salad bar, schnitzel and Mac and cheese were delicious! We arrived about 5:30 for our Monday evening meal. Very clean newly remodeled dining room! You could smell pleasant fragrance as we ate. We ordered house salad and fettuccine Alfredo. Laura served us home made bread with honey butter while we waited. She served us generous portions. The fettuccine was rich using real mozzarella on top. The salad was a good variety of greens and vegetables of excellent quality! Nice Christmas theme in the entry area. read more

We stopped in on a Friday for a late lunch. The place had a few customers outside, but was far from crowded. We ordered the prime rib sandwiches and a fish fry. The food was very good, service was excellent. There were signs of recent physical improvements and the place was very nice inside and out. I would not hesitate to return the next time I am in the area. read more

Pre-covid we've had nothing but excellent experiences at Creekside but last saturday night was very disappointing!! Reservations for an 80th bday dinner were made & confirmed, flowers were ordered to be on the table when we arrived. The Hostess didn't seem to even know that we had reservations and offered to seat us at a hightop. With an 80 yr old & 70 yr old in our party, we peferred a low table and were seated. I had to ask four times for the flowers, ruining the surprise. We had to ask for silverware AFTER our salads were delivered! We ordered two desserts to share between us, the waitress mentioned that they added ice cream for us.....and then charged us for it!! All in all, while the food was delicious, the experience was disappointing! read more

We were driving by just before 9pm on a Sunday night and it was countryside so we expected nothing would be open. 10 min before close they said sure we would be happy to cook up dinner for you. Fresh food and it was excellent. We didn't expect much but they over delivered. Sunday night basically at close and the burger was cooked to order and had fresh sliced tomato and onions and the chicken wrap was just as fresh. Great fries. Highly recommend. read more

We've been going here for years and I love they're patio and duck wontons. Sadly on arrival this time we immediately noted that everything on the menu shot up $2-3, so an appetizer of 5 wontons is now $13.99. We also sat with empty beer glasses for the last 15 minutes of our meal. read more
