After waiting for 30 minutes with no update, I inquired with the service advisor and was told the paperwork was still processing. Following another 30-minute delay, I approached a different staff member, who informed me that I could have proceeded directly to the cashier. While I appreciate the vehicle being ready on time, the lack of internal communication and incorrect guidance resulted in an unnecessary one-hour delay. Clearer instructions regarding the checkout process would have significantly improved this experience. I hope this feedback helps streamline your communication workflow for future customers.

We saw a car online and called them to ask if…read morethe car was available and ready, we were ready to buy and we didn't even want to negotiate the price, so the whole process should have been done quickly. I also had a pre-approved loan for the total in-hand and ready to go before we walked in. We got trapped in the dealership for a total of 4 hours, they made us sit in the lobby for over 30 minutes waiting for nothing before any paperwork showed up. Something that should have prepared while we were making our way over. After telling us how much they appreciate the service of our military members, they then let us know that they will not accept checks from Navy Federal Credit Union. We were forced to go with one of their lenders, even though I already had the check in-hand. That would have been nice to know before I already spent an hour in-store! So I had to take an extra hit on my Credit when really I should have just walked out. Luckily my credit score is high enough to take it. We sat for an hour waiting for them to find a loan for us, and we got a lot of rejection letters only because we ALREADY HAD THE DANG CHECK FROM MY BANK so of course new lenders aren't going to want to accept to give a second loan to someone! Whatever, we had already been there for so long, I was not leaving without this car at this point. We then sat there for another 90 minutes while they "finished the paperwork..." but didn't give us any idea of how long that would take so we could have used that time to do something other than sit there and do nothing! (This is hour 3 of trying to entertain our kiddo while we wait by the way). After that 90 minutes we went into some other guy's office and re-hashed all of the information from the past few hours all from scratch. It should have been an email or that other guy should have been present the whole time! He was just walking around the store we saw him several times just strolling! At the end of the transaction when everything finally went through, Walid, the salesman, said we would have to wait another 30 minutes for the car to be detailed. WHY in the last 4 hours was the car was not cleaned?!?!?!? Crazy. After we walked out we discovered that one of the two keys had a dead battery. I asked Walid if he could help get us a new key battery and he said he would "look into it." Fine. I waited a month and then emailed him about it, and he replied over two weeks later saying that he would ask the parts department if they had a key battery for us. It has now been six months and we haven't heard from Walid or BMW at all! All of their claims about caring about their customers are false. They got their money and now they have no interest in continuing to provide service, even after they say they will.

I like cars made in Asia and think they make the best cars for your buck. I've never to have a major repair done on any of the cars I've owned made in Asia. And I've owned 8 of them. My salesman, Mike, was cool. He never once pressured me to buy a car. if he had said, 'What do I have to do to get you into this car today?" I would have walked out. But he didn't. I've never been in sales, but I do know about that "Always closing" selling technique. I stopped by about 4 times to ask questions about the car when I went to Home Depot or Kohl's on an errand. I first saw the K-5 about 4 years ago and thought it was the best-looking car of the similar cars made by other car makers, but I wasn't looking to buy a new car then. So, when I decided it was time to buy a new car, the K-5 was my first choice. I'm well aware they sell cars across the street. I went home and figured out what I would be willing to pay for the car. I went back; test drove the car and made my offer. Mike took my offer to somebody, I've never figured out who they are, and within 15 minutes, they accepted my offer. I was satisfied with the deal and assume they were too. Then it was on to all the extended warranty stuff. Tino was cool too. He knew I was interested in that and didn't push me. He just did his job. If I didn't think this was going to be a good dependable car, I wouldn't be buying it. At 77 years old, this is may be the last car I buy. But if I do buy another car, My Kia is the first place I'll go.

While perusing AutoTrader, I saw a car of interest listed at Sal's Auto Sales, called that day, and drove out to Monterey. The car was in great condition, drove perfectly, and even had the IMA battery recently replaced (these can easily run 3k-4k if not under warranty). They were open to negotiating on price and I walked away with a great deal! Sandy was wonderful and I did get a chance to meet Sal, as well. All of the paperwork was done quickly and I was on the road with my newly purchased Honda Civic Hybrid. Then the day we went to pick it we didn't have a way of getting there so they came to pick us up so that we could go sign the paperwork. They negotiated a good price brought it down about $1000. I mean there's just no Words that could describe the customer service it's unbelievable just amazing! Nothing nothing I've ever seen or experienced and I've bought many cars in my life all from car dealers at the auto mall and none of them beat Sal's auto sales. I totally recommend them 100%.

Instead of simply answering your questions in a timely manner, they let your emails go unanswered for multiple days, leading into weeks. Then when you call for answers, they have attitude and interrupt you. I'm talking about Erik in particular but I've had nothing but terrible experiences here, from sales, to service, to finance, and am so glad to have moved closer to a different Toyota dealership, even though I'll be trading this overpriced POS in for a much better, yet cheaper, car. Trust me, it's way worth to drive somewhere else instead of going to these lying, sexist, lazy people.
